Description of Work: They took down a HUGE tree within 8 feet of my house in the back yard. Tree was 110+ feet tall and the diameter of the trunk at the ground was 8 feet. It was very dead. They got it down without any big problems they couldn't over come. They then ground up the stump (1 1/2 dump trucks of chips) and hauled every thing away. Came in on price and on time. I will use them again as this was a challenging endeavor and they handled it well.

Description of Work: I had three trees cut down and one that fell in the yard cut up and removed. Also, three stumps were grounded up. All of this plus clean up was done in ONE day .They were also $1200.00 lower than the nearest competitor. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: They were very responsive; they did the job within 10 days of the quote. They cut down a big maple tree and removed the stump, and also cut down a small evergreen tree. All the guys who did the work were very friendly and fun to have around for the day. The owner came back afterwards to inspect the work and to see if I had any issues or concerns. I would definitely recommend them to others. They did a wonderful job and were very professional.

Description of Work: Wheatcraft cut down four very large dead ash trees and two smaller ones as well as trimming a number of limbs overhanging our roof. They came when they said they would and did their work with dispatch. They had plenty of workers and all the necessary equipment. They were courteous and cleaned up the site neat as a pin. They cut up the smaller trees for firewood and stacked it neatly in place. Their price was competitive but not bargain basement. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them without reservation.

+ -1 morejim and crew showed up on schedule. jim did not want any money until the job was complete. they cut and removed the diseased trees all in one day. on the next available day (rainy season and we needed to wait for ground to dry up) jim and crew arrived on time. ground was prepared for heavy equipment. plywood was put down on ground so as not to damage lawn. cherry picker was used. jim was in the cherry picker and his crew would assist in roping the limbs that he was cutting down. we were also asked to be present in order to identify limbs we specifically wanted cut. jim did everything we asked of him. it was arranged to come back the next day with the stump grinder and finished the job. perfect, perfect, perfect.
Description of Work: four trees suffering from emerald ash disease were cut down and removed. one tree (maple) was also diseased and was also cut down and removed. all 5 stumps were ground 4-6 inches below ground. all wood/brush was cleaned up and taken. in addition, tree branches (from nine trees) were cut/trimmed etc. jim is the most considerate person to deal with. his goal is to have a happy satified customer.
