The service man they sent out was very fast and I appreciate that when your paying by the hour.

they called to schedule, the man showed up at the right day/time and performed the work. he was friendly and thorough. I have actually used this company for over 20 years at both this address and my prior address. I have never been disappointed. i particularly like that they gauge the seriousness of the issue and will come very quick if it's something important--like being out of heat on a cold day, etc. they've never left me high and dry. can't say enough good about them really.

Ur Smooth as silk! Men arrived on time. I was talking to the men, then 5 minutes later, the parts arrived. Job was expected to take 8 hrs. but was done in 6hrs. This is the second time in 9 months I have used this contractor. In September they took out a 62 yr old coal burner furnace, which had been converted to natural gas years ago, and installed a new Trane furnace and top of the line water heater.. After I seen them do that job, picking them for this one was a no brainer. I highly recommend W.C. Borchelt for ALL your needs. They do everything, electrical, plumbing, and I have heard they even hang Christmas Lights in the winter.

THE GENTLEMAN WAS CLEAN ABOUT HIS WORK ETHICS. HE ADVISED ME TRUTHFULLY. HE CONSIDERED THE AGE OF MY FURNACE AND THE COST OF REPAIRING THE HUMIDIFIER UNIT. I FELT A SENSE OF GRATITUDE FOR HIS HONESTY AND HIM UNDERSTANDING IM A DIALED SENIOR CITIZEN ON A FIXED INCOME. A BIG THUMBS UP TO THIS REPAIRMAN AND THIS COMPANY. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FORT WAYNE COMPANY.

They are very professional and personable. They did not try and up sale me.

They were very fast at getting someone over to do repairs. It did take a lot longer than expected and therefore cost more, but plumber did a good job.

The technicians are always on time and professional. They are tidy and always very courteous. They do plumbing, heating, a/c, electrical, etc. They always get the job done at reasonable prices. The technician seemed like a true expert and was really nice to deal with. We would recommend them to others.

What happened was, it turned out, the plumber's fix didn't take very long at all. We were hooking up our washer and the handle for leaking whether we needed a new valve or whatever, he just had to replace the packing on the washers and so instead of just finishing his part of it and leaving, they even came in two different vehicles, he stuck around to talk to the electrician while the electrician was working so they ended up charging me for a whole hour of the plumber's time even though it took him fifteen minutes to do what he needed to do. I was annoyed with that and they charged a lot of money too. The electrician did what I asked him to do. They responded very quickly.

The workmen were very organized and professional. They removed all components of the old system, and were careful to protect the home from damage and dirt during entire operation. They provided homeowner with education on use of new system. They secured all permits needed, and the finished project cost was the same as estimated.

For what he charged us we could have gone to True value hardware store and gotten new faucets for him to put on while he was here. It is only 2 blocks away. Also when he left our home it reeked of cigarettes. I state again, I will never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone else.

They were recommended to me by my realtor. They are nice guys. They are excellent.

They were very prompt. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It's a one stop shop in the local area. Their price was very minimum and reasonable for what they did. My experience was extremely positive with them. They send the nicest people out. They answer all your questions. I had never had that woman kind of feeling with them. They were great. They take time with you. They never had to come and redo anything. They get the work done first time. The responsiveness is absolutely perfect. They get courteous people when you call in. They dispatch as soon as they possibly can. It's nice. They have never been late. They call you before coming. They give you that call within fifteen or twenty minutes of coming. Their professionalism is top notch. I would use them in the future.

They are quick and courteous. They always respond. If they cannot make in, they would inform and tell you to call another person in town; not many companies do that. They are very good. They are all favorably priced and they are competitive in price with other people in town. They were the first people we added to room on a farm. They came out and did all of this heating and duct work. They told me the number of hours they would take for the estimate. When it was completed in last time, they charged less. They really care about their customers. They seem to like the people who are with them from a long time. When my friend's water heater blew, I recommended them to her as no other companies responded. They are the best. The people are all the best. We are very pleased with them. I would use them in the future.

There was problems with getting proper exhaust venting accomplished for the furnace. This was re-done at vendor expense. It was frustrating to have these problems, however the Borchelt people kept at it until everything was right. I am pleased. The furnace and AC work well and I trust the Borchelt people.

They are excellent. I can’t get a better plumber than them. They have done the duct work on our new furnace and also put in a new pool heater for us. They are really good, and I would rate them highly.

We decided to re-shingle our home after 20 years because we knew it needed it, and our son said that while cleaning the cutters, "You got some soft spots on the roof". So we got quotes and hired a local roofer, who did a very good job for us. The roofer told us we needed to hire a plumber to move the old furnace vent off the peak of the roof so he could install an air vent all along the peak. So we called Borchelt because we had used them before. They quoted $325 to move the vent, which I thought was a lot for a simply project, but we needed it done quickly, so we went with them for the job. While the one plumber was moving the vent, 2 other Borchelt service vans arrived and guys went up to the attic. My wife inquired 'What was up?" when they told her they noticed the bathroom vents were not vented to the outside as code calls for. They went on to say 'that maybe all the moisture venting into the attic from the bathroom may have contributed to softness in the roof, or at least contributed to it". When she said, "Well, that's very interesting because Borchelt installed the bathroom ceiling fans a few years ago!" Borchelt declined to comment, but said they job to vent them to the outside had to be done, which we agreed since our roofer had to replace most of the wood as well as the shingles. After verything was finished, Borcheldsent me a bill for $325 for moving the roof vent, and another $230 more for the new venting the bathroom ceiling fans to the outside. When I called about the additional charges, they said "We asked the plumber 7 years ago who put in the bathroom ceiling fans about it, and he said you told him not to vent them to the outside." Wow, we don't recall that at all. If code requires venting, then we would expect a professional plumber, not us, to know that. After some haggling, they dropped $200 of the venting bill, but the whole experience with them left a bad taste in our mouth. Too bad, we've liked them before, but I think managment has changed.

I highly recommend them. I think their rices are very fair. These are the kind of guys that come into your house and sell you what you need. They are honest about their products and conscientious with their consumers. They explain things well, like how to get your money out of the product. They are very fair and do not push certain products. After they got into our home to replace our furnace,once they saw we had an oil tank in our basement because we have an older home, they removed it for us. It was a big job and they offered to perform that service for us. They were great about the whole process. They can do heating and cooling and plumbing. They are honest, fair guys. We have used them many times. They don't try to sell you things you don't need. The last job they told us we did not have plumbing issues, that it was simply water splashing out of the tub. They are just so honest. For us, we did not feel like this was money wasted because we needed to find the source of the leak. Historically my overall experience with them has been excellent. We had another electrical company come here looking at a blown fuse in a closet. They had a whole "treatment plan" for the future and the cost to replace the breaker circuit. It was a diagnostic thing that was ridiculous. That was the last time I called them! Borchelt does not do that. They come right in and go right to the source of the problem. They are very fair, efficient, conscientious and tidy. I am laid back about punctuality but they are conscientious about calling and letting you know of they are going to be late.

I was very pleased with Borchelt and Sons, I have used them in the past and I will use them again in the future. They are always very professional, do a great job and clean up.

They did the best they could. The furnace had problem starting and stopping. They could not figure out what the problem was. Then they looked at the thermostat. They removed it and put it back and the furnace was fixed. They are very easy to work with and very professional. They could not give me an answer as to why the furnace was not working in the first place. I think they charged me high for the work they did. Yet I liked them and I will use them in the future.

I called them the day before for an AC tuneup - system was working but a bit sluggish. They could have come out then, but I wasn't available. They showed up right on time at 0830 and went right to work doing the inspection. They found the system was low on refrigerant, and found it was also leaking refrigerant - relatively slowly, but still worthy of replacement in the near future. They charged the system with about 1lb of refrigerant and arranged to have someone give is a quotation for replacement.

They are going to bill me for this service, so I am not sure what the price is yet. They went out of their way to explain things and made recommendations, which I appreciated. I will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

There is nothing I don't like about them. They are very honest and punctual. What I like is that the same guy usually comes, so he knows our furnace.

I have no reason to think they are over priced. The peace of mind factor to me is that when I need them they are available to fix my problems.
