 + -1 moreI took my 5+ old year vacuum which had been having issues. I wanted to know upfront how much I would be looking at in terms of fixing that unit. United Vacuum was very professional in that manner - and, without any diagnostic fee, told me the cost to replace the brush and filter. That was on top of other issues (bagless vacuum, which we wanted to replace for air quality reasons anyway). That enabled me to weigh my decision in terms of buy vs repair costs. I really enjoyed the professional attitude and assessment - highly recommended.
Description of Work: Thoroughly professional - love the service. 5 Stars. He gave an an upfront and honest assessment of service required for my 5+ year old vacuum cleaner. That enabled me to make an objective decision to replace the unit vs maintenance cost.

 + 0 moreThey fixed only the problem I took it in for.
Description of Work: The item I had repaired was a Bissel Carpet Cleaner. It had become plugged. Stated they would call when done but gave me an approx. time spand. A few days passed the time they stated it might be done, I finally called them and they said it had been done for a couple of days.. When I went to pick it up, they pointed out another minor problem with it. They had not notified me of this problem and acted like I could bring it back any time to have it repaired. I was not pleased but they repaired what I actually took it there for. I guess my advice would be to be sure to tell them if they find anything else wrong with your appliance, that they should call you to see if you want it repaired also.

 + -1 moreThis company was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I used them. It's hard to find honest repair servicemen and these people are very honest. I brought my vaccum clearner to be repaired but once the gentleman looked it over he told meit didn't need to be repaired that I just did something to trigger the shut-off switch and he showed me how to turn it back on.They could have charged me for repairs and I wouldn't have known the difference.I then asked them if they could tune-up and clean the vaccum and they did, now it works better than ever.I will not only use them again but when I need to make a new purchase I will purchase a vaccum cleaner from them. 5 stars

 + -1 moreWe went into United at the start of our search for a new vacuum. We had always done business with them and have always had great machines from there. The salesman showed us several different styles of cleaners, including the Miele. He explained everything about this machine, even offering us a video to watch. We left the store and shopped at different stores, but not finding anything comparable. We then went to a few shops which carried this same machine, but found the prices to be much higher. Making up our minds, we went back to United and purchased the best vacuum cleaner that I have ever owned.
Description of Work: We bought our new Miele vacuum cleaner a few months ago from here. I am so thrilled by its performance. It is not a cheap machine, however, you get what you pay for, and this was worth every cent !
