Was disappointed. We called this company because they had a very good reputation. Although the man that came out to give an estimate was very nice, he could not guarantee their work at $350.00. Said they would pull back the shingles and lay something under them and up under the siding. When the workers came out, they said oh, it just needs to be sealed, so they ran a sealer along it and still charged $350.00. Still leaked, so we called them again. They said to fix it right with a guarantee would be $3800.00 to re-do the entire side of the garage roof where the leak was. Called another place and they were prompt, fixed it like S-G said they would do in the beginning, and although they did not guarantee it wouldn't leak again, they did guarantee their work. It hasn't leaked since. So, I would not use S-G again. If they can't guarantee their work, it should be a red flag. We should have known better. We called them to discuss the issue of payment but they did not return our call. Only 350.00 so we are not too upset, just annoyed that we had to pay an additional 325.00 to have someone else fix it.

They were very professional and punctual.I used them before, and will use them again, if needed.

When I signed the contract in February 2008, I was told the roofers would be there in two weeks. We had 6 roof leaks. Over the next two months the management and I had several very loud discussions. They yelled at me when I complained that they had not kept the time frame I was given. In April after major mildew and electrical issues, I threatened them with another letter of complaint to the Better Business Bureau (they already had one). They complied the next week. The work was done swiftly and on time. Clean up was satisfactory and I was pleased with the job. I had no problem with the labor--it was management. Also they use their own special roofing. No one else can do repairs. I can't say that they have not improved over the last few years, but I would not recomend them.

I was approached by the salesman while receiving another estimate. It appeared he was visiting damages houses in the neighborhood. John tried to impress upon me how insurance adjusters work and that it would be to my advantage to have him negotiate with the insurance adjuster. They came to an agreement on services and materials. The job was slow getting started but once underway, the work proceeded quickly and professionally. The yard was cleaned of debris daily which was also hauled off daily. No dumpster in our driveway. When the job was done I sent the bill to the insurance company. While there were additional funds for me the adjuster said the bill was much higher than agreed to and the insurance would not cover the balance. I have had repeated conversations with John being told each time that he is working things out with his boss. In the meantime I am getting threatening letters from billing. I have paid out all the funds provided by the insurance company plus the deductible. Sherriff-Goslin seems determined to wreck my credit and dodge any responsibility for their end of the agreement. John will argue that what he was told by one adjuster (filling in over the dinner hour) did not match the assigned adjuster said. As the resident expert he would have been aware of such things. It is fortunate that the wok was good. On that basis I can recommend them. The roofing crew was excellent, a well-oiled machine. But the misrepresentation around experience with insurance and repeatedly telling me that billing has been 'instructed' not to threaten me makes me say watch out! KNOW what you are getting in to. As Elmer Fudd would say, and quot;Be vewwy, vewwy careful.and quot;

Neighbor had recommended Sherriff Goslin, and Sherrif Goslin advertised in my Church newsletter. Called them, received estimate for new roof, discussed time frame for the work. Was called on the morning they were on their way. Work was done, debris removed all on the same day. Workers were courteous and neat. Definitely will recommend them. Sherriff Goslin has own trucks that haul the debris, no rental dumpster in my driveway for days as other companies use. Tarps were placed around and over plantings. A lawn magnet was also used to assure all metals were removed from the yard.

They are good. They do quality work. They are punctual. They actually put our roof on two years ago, and we had a leak that wasn't their fault. They came and repaired it without charging us.

Overall the quality of the work is excellent. My only issues with this company was the time that it took to perform the work. I was up against the clock to get my house listed on the market for sale. They only sent a 2 man crew to do the roofing and a different 2 man crew to do the siding. The siding crew nocalled-noshowed one day. I would use them again for their quality and warranty, but not if I was on a timeframe.

Roof on existing home was done by SG 12-13 years ago. Looks like it's 30 years old today. Have had patches completed in a couple of valleys but really need to start from scratch. Asked for a quote to do just that but never received it.

I called and Paul came out from Sherriff Goslin on 6/28/10. He was on time. We went over the work to be done; he said it would take a couple of days for me to receive an estimate for the roof. I called after several weeks passed and I spoke with Paul on 7/16/10. The estimate was never sent, but he said since they dropped the ball, he would put it in my door in the next day or two. I still have not received it, nor a call to make sure I did. I was strongly considering them, but it doesn't appear they need my business.

They did a wonderful job every day before they left they cleaned everything up. The house is large and tall so it took them a little more than a week to finish.
