Description of Work: We purchased a new home from the estate of the previous owner. The home inspection noted that there was evidence of rodents that would need to be addressed.

Description of Work: I called Rose Pest Control over a month ago to have services performed for fleas. I was promised a call back within 24 hrs. I have yet to receive a phone call.

Description of Work: We had a problem with spiders. Rose came out and did a very thorough walk-through with us to see what was causing the spiders. We found a lot of lady bugs which were causing the spiders, also a wasp nest starting. They sprayed outside and also set us up on a home plan where they come out every few months for maintenance. It definitely has helped a lot. They are about to come in a couple weeks again, which is great, because it seems like we just started noticing lady bugs again (after being gone since they were last here) - so it seems like they have us on a good schedule. Very friendly person came out for the home inspection.

Description of Work: Rose Pest Solutions did a treatment for bedbugs in my house in September.

Description of Work: Awoke in the morning to an infestation of yellow jackets on main floor of house. Discovered they had made a hole in the ceiling of DR and were coming in from the cold, I guess. After being stung once on the hand, I headed outside and called Rose, leaving a message since they weren't in the office at 7:10 a.m. I called again after 8:00 (from my office) and was told they would send my contact info to "George." He called about 9:45 and met me at my house about 10:30. When we went in the house, there were only a couple of dozen YJ's left. He walked around the house, inside and outside, and observed the access point outside and the hole in the ceiling. We also discussed our problem with carpenter bees. He finally gave me a quote for the YJ's and for the bees. He said that it might not be until next day before treatment could be done. He did suggest that we seal the DR where the entry point was. Fortunately, I had some large plastic sheets that we taped to the two entryways to the DR which sealed it from the rest of the house. George also helped me get bees outside from the kitchen. About 12:30 pm that day, I received a call from Adam, the guy who does the treatment. We agreed to meet at the house about 1:45 p.m. He showed about 2:15, but was very helpful and efficient. He suggested taking our vacuum cleaner with the hose attachment and gathering all of the YJ's that were in the room -- probably about 2-3 dozen. While he was treating the nest above the ceiling and sealing the hole, I sucked up YJ's. Fortunately, they were lethargic. After doing the inside, he went outside to the entry points in the siding and used a powder to fill the nest and entry areas. He used the same powder in all of the entrances (6) where the carpenter bees were. He said that the chemicals would kill all these immediately and the residual dust would get any others who came to the nest. Adam also gave me his cell phone number to call him directly if there was any reappearance. When we returned to the house after work, we saw no activity inside or out. I took the coverings off the dining room the next night. I received a follow-up call from George the morning after the treatment. This morning, 48 hours after the original, I killed one YJ that was in the kitchen. Saw no evidence of others.
