They showed up on time and spent about one minute glueing a cap on an exposed PVC pipe end. They then informed me that the glue needed a few hours to set and that they would call back and schedule a follow-up appointment for activation of the system. Today is two weeks later and I have heard nothing. Some people would have called them, but in this economy if they are so disorganized or disinterested in my business, there are plenty of other vendors who are interested. Being a marketing executive, I am a bit of a stickler for decent customer service. Today I called a competitor who will come out tomorrow (will review later). Preferred Irrigation missed the chance to have a long-term customer for yearly activation / deactivation / expansion of the system. Perhaps they have all the business they need. In fairness, they might have done an excellent job, but now I will never know.
Description of Work: Asked them to come out and evaluate / activate / optimize an existing sprinkler system at a home that I just purchased.
