PATRIOT GROUP INC

I get a call at work from my girlfriend saying that she just blew a tire and couldn't get the spare on the van. So I left work to save the day. I got to the van and low and behold, the mechanism to release the spare tire was rusted and fused and wouldn't release. So, I pulled off the blown tire, threw it in the back of my truck and went to get a new one. I was in Waynedale driving to Tire Barn and completely forgot about the Patriot tire location on Bluffton Rd. Once I saw the sign, I whipped in as Patriot has taken care of me in several other instances. I find the mechanic working, and he stopped what he was doing to help me out. I explained the situation and he started quoting me new tire prices ($100+). Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock so I would have to wait. I then asked about possibly a used tire and we went out to his shop and she searched around. He showed me a couple, but then said that he didn't feel comfortable selling me any of these. He asked to see the blown tire, did a few tests and finally explained that he thought it could be patched. He worked on it for about 10 min, and it's been good a new since. So, he could have pushed me to spend $100+ on a new tire, or sold me a used one that would have given out at any time, but ultimately gave me the best solution to my problem and fixed the tire I already had. Awesome!
