+ -1 moreWith the less-than-professional customer service I've encountered with Serv-All, I've dropped them as my service provider and went with Waste Management (the service that was working over that Christmas week). I've had no problems with Waste Management to date.
Description of Work: National Serv-All was our garbage collection service from the time we moved into our home in 2000 until 2010. During this time period, it seemed that Serv-All was putting more limitations on boxes and materials that wouldn't fit into their roll-around containers. When they refused to pick up boxes that had been carefully put together, the customer service person explained a new bundling requirement that we had not previously heard about, then used a condescending "would you do this for me please?" response to my protest over unannounced changes. When Serv-All didn't show up for Christmas-week pick-up, the customer service person claimed it was weather that kept them off the roads. When I asked when make-up pick-ups would be happening, I was told we were simply cancelled for the week. When I asked why their competition was picking up trash that same week, my integrity was questioned.

+ -1 moreI like Serv-All overall. The upsides are that the dumpster was provided quickly and in good condition. Also, our subdivision negotiated a lower rate. The downsides are that pick-up time is unreliable. Some weeks trash is picked up at 5 a.m., other weeks 4 p.m. Also sometimes the dumpster is left in the center of the drive or with the lid open. Billing has always been accurate.
Description of Work: National Serv-All provides our dumpster service weekly.
