MOMPER INSULATION

Rep showed up on time, looked above my garage and gave me a recommendation and a price ... He then looked above my living area (main home attic) and took pictures. He showed me the pics and said "no need for any work to be done up there, everything already looks good". He called me back with a scheduled data for the work to be done above the garage. The workers showed up on time, they were courteous and respectful. They did the work quickly and cleanly. Great professional transaction. Highly Recommend.

In our 126 year old house, there was little to no insulation in the exterior walls. We hired Momper to insulate the walls they could drill into around our kitchen and office. The job was done on schedule, very professionally and they cleaned up all of their mess. Today, 1/11/16, it is only 3 degrees and my office is warmer than it has ever been! Many thanks to Brian and team for a job well done!

Contacted Momper and they were quick to come out and do estimate. They were scheduled out a few weeks, but when the time came, they were there and on time. Completed whole job (1-story) in one day. Realizing the second floor walls were insulated, they proactively adjusted the bill on their own.

I was very impressed. We were on a very tight schedule and Momper did everything they could do to accommodate us. And the work was exceptional. Couldn't be happier.

Terrible! Because of the items in the attic they asked me to have a family member help move things to prevent damage. My family was working so I hired a gentleman to help them. They were due between 10+1. The man I hired was here. While he was waiting he moved everything in the attic to one side and cleaned the floor in the garage.. They showed up at 3pm after my repeated calls and assured me they would not leave until finished. ( At 1pm they told me they were on the way and would be there in 20 minutes). The man I hired had another job to be at at 5:30pm that day so he had to leave at 4:30. He had gone up and moved everything so they would not have to slow down. All they had to do was move the stuff back. NOT DONE! The garage was part blown- in and part batts. They left batts and the blown insulation all over the floor. Then they told me someone would be back the next day to tape and finish up. Today 4/13, someone showed up. Taped, picked up a piece of batts and left the mess. He said" should he move stuff in the upstairs"? Alone? I don't think so! I was unable to go up with him. I fell down these stairs twice already So everything remains as it was. He did NO cleanup, even though I pointed out what was needed in the garage. Once again I will hire someone to come in and finish the job. Ridiculous! I had this same company several years ago to do the house attic and they came back after I discovered they had forgotten one wall. No problem. They cleaned up and I was well satisfied. I am now disgusted!

They provided an estimate, arrived on time, cleaned up after completing the job. Very professional and friendly.

Showed up when they said they would. Every efficient. Put plastic down to protect floors and cleaned up after themselves.

I went with Momper Insulation out of Elkhart, Indiana. I saw the Momper truck at my neighbor's house. I asked her about their work, and she told me that they were very professional and very nice. She was pleased with their work. I got the number from her and thought to check Angie's List to see if the company was on the list. With what my neighbor said, and in reading the reviews, I decided to hire them, and found that the comments of my neighbor and the reviews that I read are true. Keith, from Momper, came out to the house and gave me an estimate on my crawl space. He was very informative. He took time to explain what needed to be done and why. I hired them to do my crawl space. Approximately two weeks later, I called Keith back. He came out and gave me an estimate on my attic. He was very easy to talk to, very cordial and professional. His expertise in insulation was appreciated. On November 10 they installed the insulation in the attic. The men were on time and very professional. I appreciated how quickly they completed the work. I took a look at what they did after they were done, and was satisfied. I would definitely recommend Momper Insulation to others. I'm sure they would be satisfied.

It went well. Once they got here they were very professional, getting the job done with no problems.

Personnel did a very thorough job. Was meticulous in spraying and asked me to inspect his work. Only found a few issues which he was happy to correct. Did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards and completed the work as schedules.

They were outstanding. The salesman name is Keith. He was extremely thorough and explained a lot of things to us. Our house was entirely remodeled, so it was not a straight forward case. He gave us different options to improve our energy efficiency. His team was very hardworking and respectful. He supervised very well. Even though he made the sale, he made it particular that everything goes on well. It was really a great experience. I've called him again to look into the basement too.

It was a good price. These guys were very contentious, very hard working because at that point we had twelve individuals working on the house at the same time, so it was a busy work site at that time. It was a day and a half of hard work. I am retired and it was fun to watch all these guys working and calling out each other. It was like a three ring circus. They did a really great job.

He was there when he said he would be there to provide an estimate. He answered questions we had. The work was completed in the time frame agreed upon. We will be having him come out to do additional work in the future.

They're very professional, they provide good service and they're an established company that stay behind their work. They also were pretty competitive and they're the only insulator in the area.

All items accomplished per discussion with service writer. The items were in response to an energy audit performed by Northeastern REMC, a free service to their customers. It took the workers a bit longer to accomplish all the work, but they didn't shortcut anything. In fact, they found an area that wasn't discussed while foaming the common wall and took care of it as well, as it just made sense to include it. I tipped each of the installers for their extra help. I could easily tell the comfort difference in every area they'd hit, both during the winter and the subsequent summer. I just hired them to fix another problem with the fireplace area that's been difficult to diagnose and look forward to them resolving the problem.

We had a difficult time getting them to return our calls to schedule the insulation, when they finally did put us on the schedule they didn't really stick to the schedule. They kept pushing us back and didn't come when they said they would but they did end up finishing by the end of that same week. Apparently, they were having trouble with a spray gun when they were there and the worked performed was very sloppy, they missed a few spots and they also sprayed our interior shower wall completely shut so we couldn't get to the valves to hook up the water. When we called to discuss our issues it was around 5:30 or 6 in the evening and we were impressed that both the salesman and the scheduler called us back that night to discuss our issues and assured us that they would take care of everything....and they did. The guy that came back to correct our issues did a great job and even cleaned up a lot of the sloppiness from before and made it look a lot nicer. They also cleared the spray foam from the shower valves so we could get the water lines connected. So, we did get off to kind of a disappointing start with them but they ended up doing everything that they said they would and definitely came back and took care of any issues that we had so because of that we would use them again and would also recommend them to others. Everyone has problems occasionally, it's how you take care of those issues that matter.

Our energy company provided a free audit that revealed that the insulation in our walls was very low due to settling. They recommended a company, whom I called. They offered to dense-pack gaps for the walls, attic and the space between the first and second floor for around $7,500. I called Momper, who gave a bid for the same service, for under $5,000. The salesman explained that this was a and quot;worst caseand quot; price, assuming the walls were completely empty. Since there was some insulation, he said the price would likely be less. He even gave me a rule of thumb, just to give me an idea, but explained he could not nail it down because they can't tell how much insulation actually exists in the walls. After the service was performed, the actual bill was for under $2,000. It was a very pleasant surprise. The actual insulation is made of recycled newspaper. It is a very good insulator and makes great use of what would otherwise be a waste product. The service was completed in about five days. The technician removed pieces of siding, drilled a hole, filled the space with insulation, and replaced the siding. By all appearances, we would not otherwise know any work had been done. While the coldest days have yet to come, we have noticed a big difference. When the heater runs, it stays warm, long after the fan has stopped. Previously, it ran almost continuously, even in moderate temperatures. I am very pleased with this service and would recommend Momper to anyone who needs insulation.

All of the work was supposed to have been done on the same day. The team adding insulation to the house and garage ceilings arrived promptly and added the insulation to the house ceiling. I was satisfied with the cleanup they did. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication at Momper, the spray foam team had never been scheduled, and the garage ceiling insulation could not be added until the foam insulation was applied. The rest of the work had to be scheduled for a second day. It was an inconvenience to me and I was disappointed about the scheduling error. However, the insulation was done well. I would use them again.

We chose Momper to insulate our 60-year-old brick Cape Cod home. It took two men two days to complete the work, and they returned at a later date (when the weather warmed a bit) to fill in the holes in the mortar between the bricks. The workers were polite and knowledgeable, and they (as well as the estimator) were very good at answering any questions we had. We received quotes on three areas of our home and opted to do the two we thought would give us the best return on our investment. We applied for a NIPSCO rebate and they've been helpful in providing needed info for that, as well. Would definitely recommend them to others in the area who are looking for home insulation.

ARRIVED ON TIME. TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR TO DO. THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS AND LEFT. ALSO THE SALESMAN BRIAN TOOK THE TIME TO TELL ME OTHER THINGS I COULD DO TO SAVE ON ENERGY COSTS. WAS VERY HELPFUL.

The staff was quick. It took them just a day. They were in and out. We had an excellent experience. We didn't have any problems. We didn't shop around for prices.

In fact when I first researched them I hadn't had any work done but I have since called them out for an estimate. I was extremely happy with them. With the heat wave I just thought I'd have somebody take a look at the insulation in my house and see if that was what it needed to be. I had three individual parts that I had them take a look at what it would be. Step one to actually lay a layer of insulation in the attic, Step two is to blow insulation inside the walls and step three was to wrap some of the duct work in the attic. The guy that actually came out was nice. I'll be glad to submit a report for him because I have never considered submitting reports for just an appraisal or estimates. He was exactly on time and called me back when I told him to. I found him on Angie's List, they were highly rated there and they lived up to it. They actually called back right when they told me they would and they were able to schedule much staff than I thought they would considering how busy they are in this kind of heat. They showed up right on time in fact. I tried to meet them in my lunch hour and had an appointment scheduled right after that in a very small window of time. He arrived about five minutes early till I drove up to the drive way so it couldn't have been better. The guy that came out his name was Brian, he was very professional and he explained everything in detail. He explained the implications of what they would do and when my expected results could be. He was great. I'm definitely considering doing the work and I have put the money aside to do it right now. I have decided on them.
