Mike Thomas Associate

From the very beginning I knew that we had picked the right Realtor for us. Lorie Jacobsen was always on top of things, always very helpful, and if she didn't know the answer to our questions, she was contacting someone or looking into the answer for us. She's personable and takes a genuine interest in and concern for her clients. Most of the process went smoothly and we closed by the date we had scheduled to close. The issues came after we closed and took possession of the home. Thankfully Lorie and Mike Thomas Associates were still with us. Let me explain... The home was not kept in the condition is was supposed to be kept in, the leaking garbage disposal was not fixed, as well as the homeowner left personal belongings for us to dispose of. All were breaches to our contract. Lorie was on the phone to the homeowner's agent at once. We took pictures of everything, we had past emails and texts that supported everything that we were claiming. It was a mess, the other agent, her Real Estate Company, and the homeowner just blew us off. We were going to take it to arbitration. I thought that's where it was heading, but instead, Mike Thomas Associates, sent us a check because we had been through so much and they felt it was ridiculous. And it was/is ridiculous. That check should have come from the homeowner or agent or Real Estate Company. I'll try to share that in another review of that company. You want an honest, upstanding Realtor/Real Estate Company? Lorie Jacobsen and Mike Thomas Associates are the ones for you!!
