 + 0 moreThis company is incompetent and unprofessional. They removed 4 trees on our property after being hired by our neighbors to remove trees on their property. It was very obvious that they had come onto our property when they continued to remove 4 trees, and the only privacy we had between us and our other neighbor's house. We now have 4 tree stumps in our yard that need removed and we cannot mow that area. Maxwell does not seem to think this is their problem, and refuse to return my calls or right the issue.
Description of Work: I have tried to get a hold of someone at Maxwell multiple times and they will not return my messages. My neighbors hired Maxwell Landscape to remove a few trees on their property. Maxwell's employees then went 15 feet over into our property, removing 4 of our trees. It was very obvious that it was our property at this point. I've reached out to Maxwell Landscape multiple times to try to figure out a solution to this issue (we lost 4 trees that their business took down and now have 4 stumps in our yard that Maxwell does not seem to think is their problem). Maxwell has not returned any of my phone calls and voicemails, and the receptionist was very rude when I explained our situation. Apparently common customer service does not apply to this company.

 + 0 moreSee the note above. 1. Good knowledge of plants 2. Experienced professional 3. Effective supervisor of her work team 4. Attentive to details 5. Very responsive to our preferences 6. Came back in the spring and then again at the end of summer to check on plants 7. Good listener to what we wanted - and then her design produced it.
Description of Work: We asked Christy Forish, their designer and manager, to redesign and install new landscaping around our 16 year old home. She created a terrific design using the criteria we'd given her (minimal upkeep, mix of flowers and bushes and trees, colorful, hardy) and installed it with her crew. It survived the winter, and she was hear at the first hint of spring to make sure all the plants had survived. She replaced two small flowers immediately. She is a talented Purdue-educated landscape person, and she supervised our work as though it was for her own family. Very impressed!

She came out and listened to what we wanted and laid out exactly what she was recommending, pictures of the layout, and detailed cost. I had received several other bids but they were the best value and understood what we wanted. I gave them the contract and were out the 3rd week of April, 2013 to do the work. They were very professional and did exactly what she outlined for us. It turned out beautifully. Everyone we have had over since have raved about it. Christie was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

 + -1 moreEverything is still doing good five years after they had performed the work. I had one issue with a tree but they took care of it promptly by replacing it free of charge. They are not the cheapest. I would use them again in the future.
