I ordered the carpet at the end of July, 2007. It took a long time for the carpet to come in and it was not installed until September. After the installer had completely ripped out the old carpet, he noticed that there was some sort of problem with the new carpet, and said he might not be able to install it as it had been "rolled wrong". I explained how long it had taken to come in and said we could not go 6 weeks with only a concrete slab in the family room, waiting for replacement carpet. Miraculously, he was then able to install it. (Maybe it took more work that he really didn't want to do?) Carpet looks very nice and seams are not visible. He did scratch my baseboard in a few places with the stretcher and in one place, the baseboard was pulled off when he pulled out the old carpet. He nailed it back on, but it needs to be repainted now. Also accidentally cut/removed a speaker wire to stereo system and they will not refund the charge to have that repaired!!
Description of Work: Installation of new carpet and pad in family room.
