Patrick came out and said he would be able to do the work. We talked about trim I would need, potential pit falls with the overall structure I would need to be prepared for, and what it would take to get the job done. When he and his team showed up for the install they went right to it. Out with the old and in with the new. They completeted the door and opener installation along with the trim work we discussed. They hid all the wires and hauled the old door and frame away along with all the trash! It was a great experience overall and would be happy to work with them again.

Professional and on time. Price was significantly lower the the competition and included door, cables and spring, outside trim, and labor. I bought my own garage opener and they charged a reasonable installation fee. Pat was honest with me about all my options and wasn't pushy. He actually recommended the lowest grade garage door due to some uneven concrete at the bottom of my garage floor. No use in insulating the door if a breeze gets through the bottom. He also showed me how to program my garage code and how to replace the battery backup when it goes bad. Excellent start to finish. I could not have asked for anything more. Highly recommended.

They came while we were at work and installed the opener just perfectly.

The garage door was a difficult install due to angled roof in my garage. They had to replace all of the track system and suspend it from the ceiling. They were on time, very conscientious, very professional, and went above my expectations on explaining everything and ensuring I knew how to contact them in case there were any issues. The fencing project was very large. 6ft privacy fencing around the pool area and 5ft picket fencing around a large dog run area. They spent 12 hour days and got it done in 2 days. The team was very hard working. I was amazed at their persistence. They worked as hard in hour 12 as they did at the beginning of the job. Every time they came across a point that needed a decision, they made sure they consulted with me on the options, discussed their recommended solution and let me make an informed decision.

If Angie's list had an option for an A+ rating, that's what I would have rated Levy and Sons. Sadly the rating system only went as high as an A, so that's what I rated them. First of all the woman I spoke with on the phone was extremely professional and accommodating. I wish I could remember her name so as to give her credit in this review. Anyway, I called this morning (Monday) to set up an appointment, but they didn't have any openings until Thursday. I explained that my garage door springs had broken while my vehicle was inside the garage, essentially trapping it inside. After hearing this, the woman on the other end of the phone went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of today. She also deducted 10% off of the total bill after I mentioned that I had learned about them through Angie's list. The total bill ended up being $157.50 for two springs that were larger and more robust than the originals. The crew arrived a few short hours later and immediately began working. The crew leader, Barry, was also the owner. He was extremely professional and efficient. Less than an hour after arrival they had not only completed the job, but also lubricated all of the hinges and cables at no extra charge. The garage door is now almost silent, with the opener motor creating the loudest of any noticeable noise. It's like having a brand new door again. As an added bonus Barry used larger, more robust springs than what had originally been installed. All of this at a price $45 dollars cheaper than another place I called over the weekend. I really don't see how anyone could go wrong by using Levy and Sons. I'm really glad I found them on Angie's list!

Service, punctuality, and professionalism were all top notch. There is a reason this family owned business is alive and well after 37 years in Ft. Wayne. They do great work for a great price. Would recommend them to anyone. A national competitor wanted $90 just to show up and look things over. Levy and Sons has my business and they should have yours as well.

Great customer service! Repaired the same day I called. The price was over $100 less than the last garage repairman charged to replace two springs. He also has a THREE year replacement warrantee!!! So I really doubt they are putting on used springs, the last company I used the springs didn't hold up long and I seriously wonder if they don't use those unbroken springs (from someone else's repair) when they have replaced two springs and only one is broken. I will never call the past garage repairman again and only call Levy and Sons, So glad I found them on Angie's list!

I purchased the door and opener separately, not through them. They did a good job. I had to leave a message to arrange the service appointment, but they returned the call promptly.

My garage door works great. While I thought the and quot;fixand quot; would simply require lubrication, there was more effort in involved. The guys were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and I will call Levy and Sons in the future if I have the need.

I called and left a message and they called me right back with a day and time they could be there. They are always very professional and on time. I have had them out 3 or 4 times as we have lived at our current address for 20 years, and have been very satisfied with each visit.

I searched Angie's List and found that they had positive reviews. Levy and Sons were incredible. I did not realize that the door was broken until after 7:00 PM. When I called the owner, he had just sat down to the dinner and asked if he could come afterwards. I agreed and expected to pay an upcharge for their later call. However, when they arrived (at the time we agreed on), the owner and his brother completed the repair in less than an hour. I fully expected to pay more than $150, but the total was only $100. He showed me how to keep the door hinges, chain, spring, and ball bearings greased with Liquid Wrench every three months.

They told me to call if I had any other problems. They fixed it for me so I don't have to replace my springs right now since it was just a cable that was broken. They were just wonderful to me. They cleaned up after themselves and actually saved me money on the repair. They put in the extra effort to really help me out. They even called to let me know they were running a little behind, which I really appreciated. They were great all around and really friendly guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We contacted a couple garage door specialists, and this company was the lowest bid. We went with them, not only based on the cheaper price, but also because of the other reviews on Angie's List. They showed up when they said they would, fixed our problem quickly and our garage door is usable again.

They replaced our door opener in 2004 which had been damaged due to a nearby lightning strike (surge). They have replaced springs on our door also. Always very prompt and professional.

overall i am very pleased with the experience and end result. Shortly after my initial call, Levy and Sons stopped by my house to measure and evaluate to be able to give a quote. they were great to work with. the only less-than-ideal part of the process was that they weren't able to install the door until 2-2.5 weeks after we selected the door we wanted because our door was delayed in arriving from warehouse. other than that, it was excellent - very pleased with the quality of the result. they replaced the framework for the garage door at my request for no additional cost. I purchased the garage door opener separately and they installed it. He was very supportive in answering my questions about openers prior to my purchase.

My experience with Levy and Sons was great. They arrived at the approximate time they had stated. They had parts on the truck and in a matter of 20 to 30 minutes my garage door was operating again. The employees were pleasant and knowledgeable.

I had a garage door that had been opened during a freeze which damaged the brace on the top of the door. This was called out as I was selling the house. I called up Levy and Sons and they got out to take a look very quickly. They called me from my house and described the work and price, so I told them to go ahead. They installed a new top brace and some angle iron on the top of the door to stabilize it. All in all, great response time and solid work.
