+ -1 moreHorrible service. Lied to my face during the estimation walk through. Ok'd many of my items to move then left them at the old house. We still had to move 3 car loads of stuff. They added a 4th mover without my knowledge and charged me more for it. The 4th mover was a desk jockey that decided to come watch her boyfriend in action. They broke my wife's China cabinet and pretended to care and said they'd fix it. Haven't heard from them. The damaged my brand new house and refuse to do the right thing and either pay for damages or fix it. No final walk through was offered or done. Forced my wife to sign the paperwork without double checking everything. -Zero stars, do not recommend-

+ 0 moreIt went great. The only thing I didn't rate as Excellent was punctuality because they were over an hour late in arriving to deliver my stuff at my new house. Even with that I would highly recommend them as movers.
Description of Work: Kraft moving moved me out of my old house, kept my stuff in storage for one month, and then delivered my stuff to my new house.

+ 0 moreVery well. The only complaint I have is that both times they were supposed to arrive at 9:30. The first time they arrived at 10:00 and the second time they arrived at 11:00. Other than that they did great job.

Description of Work: We moved from Fort Wayne to Atlanta area. We packed most of our goods and they trucked it all down. We have moved multi hundred mile trips a dozen or so times. Half U-Haul and half Professional. Professional works fine when they are paid by a company. Had used Kraft in 2001 to move locally. They did a wonderful job. Fifteen years later several of the same caring and careful loaders arrived. The loaders are wonderful. Some glitches. Communication between father and son got messed up so large truck did not show up. Two trips were required, same charge. Some damage and as we had bought contents insurance we were reimbursed within a few weeks. So move not perfect but no horror story. |Because we had a long driveway and it would be difficult to get truck down driveway all other Professional companies wanted us to pay for an extra smaller truck to ferry contents to main truck. They also would not move some of our garden equipment. Kraft took all our stuff and worked with us for best time. |I was delighted that Kraft is no longer just a local mover. I suspect that as they do more long distance one truck moves they will get better at estimating loading time. (Our guys worked til midnight loading truck. In the past professionals had used a day and a half. |They are honest, caring and pleasant to deal with. |Negatives sometimes overcommitted and they did not get right back to us. Something more likely with small family company. Positives: small family means you know whom you are dealing with.

Description of Work: They helped move some of the larger/more tricky items from our old house to our new house. Another provider on Angie's list tried to pencil us in, but wasn't able to. I called Kraft at the last minute and they made it happen. Not only that, but these guys were awesome. Very impressive all around.

Description of Work: moved about 20 boxes and some other items of household use to a storage facility. And on this same move of 15+ miles, they deliver all of the household furniture and other items to my condo. The movers were very efficient , courteous and careful. John Kraft made a very reasonable estimate for the move and that is exactly what I paid on completion with no breakage or complaints. I highly recommend this mover and his associates. Kraft has moved me 6 times in the past 10 years with always great and satisfying and on-time results.

+ -1 moreOur move included several pieces of antique furniture and a grandfather clock which we were particularly concerned about getting moved without any damage. The Kraft team consisted of three guys who were extremely careful with all of our furnishings. Most everything was shrink wrapped and then padded blankets were used as well to insure that everything was transported in a safe manner. The team worked non-stop for 5-1/2 hours with only a short (10-15 minute) break. Everything they disassembled was reassembled at our new home. The team was friendly and very professional. We would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Ours was a local move. Kraft transported all of the large pieces of furniture in our home (2 bedrooms, office/study, great room, dining room, washer, dryer and garage items). We moved most of the smaller items and boxes ourselves.

+ -1 moreMoved us in two moves - two weeks apart. Worked tirelessly without breaks. Must have gone up and down those basement steps a hundred times. Had to force them to stop and take a lunch break. Everything was wrapped and handled with extreme care. They even took the appliances from our new house that we were giving our son to his home and removed his old ones! We have recommended Kraft several times since our move and would gladly use them again.

+ -1 moreIt went very well, John came over to give us a estimate, explained how his costs were calculated and suggested several options to save us some money. His quote was lowest of three , both in absolute total and hourly rate. Due to problems with our buyer's mortgage, our moving date got bounced three times at very short notice and John rescheduled uncomplainingly. A team of three, tireless guys worked amazingly hard for a day and half in 90+ degree heat, took good care of everything and remained cheerful, friendly and cooperative. Our move was only 4 miles so they hardly got to rest between load and unload. I'd highly recommend Kraft Movers to anyone.
Description of Work: Kraft's team moved the contents of our four bed house, plus a storage unit and even picked up from a furniture store for us saving us a delivery charge.

I really like them. They are responsive and nice. They are strong and do a really good job of moving heavy things. They did a great job for me. They were trustworthy. I have used them thrice in the past couple of months and I will use them again in the future.
