Had windows put in. The service was great- work was done well and the windows are very attractive, all messes were cleaned up. Rich has come back to check on the work to be sure it was done well and now have given me a quote for needed gutters and downspouts, gutter guards, and a side door. Highly recommend the company from front end to back end.

Rich is amazing. He came out to look at the roof. He said we didn't need a new roof. BUT we did need new soffit,facia, gutters and gutter guards. Who does that? Rich with Key Exteriors!!

We called Key Exteriors in May 2022 to have work done in facia, flashing and windows. We received prompt response and salesperson came to the house to talk about project and take measurements. We then waited for a contact with statement of work and conditions. When we didn’t receive one we provided more details and pictures of work needing to be done. We waited more than two months for a contract and kept being told it was coming. I called several times to check on status with no clear answers. Finally, I asked if they didn’t want the job please tell me so I can find another contractor and was informed they are too busy now for our project - which I was told would take two weeks back in May. I am very disappointed our treatment. If they weren’t interested in the project they could have said so up front or any any other point in the two and half month saga. I would not recommend them for any project given our poor treatment. Eric Webster

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE FAILURE TO THE CONSUMER!! IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS...I REPEAT 2 YEARS AND MY JOB IS NOT COMPLETE AND I AM LEFT WITH THIS HIDEOUS WINDOW!! IT REMAINS AS PICTURES SHOWN FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS!! THEY TOOK US TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT OVER AN INCOMPLETE JOB AND WANTED THEIR MONEY! GUESS WHAT..THEY WON! THEY CONSIDERED THIS JOB COMPLETE! THE CONTRACT ONLY PROTECTS THEM!! HOMEOWNERS...BEWARE!!! BAD COMPANY!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! AGAIN..CONTRACT IS SET TO ONLY PROTECT THEM..NOT YOU!!

November 5th of last year I signed a contract with them and we agreed on the price and gave them a $10 ,000.00 deposit. January 21st of this year he called and said he made a mistake for the price and couldn't do it and didn't call. Called him back on February 7 call him back on February 11 didn't receive the call February 14 I went to his office and got my money back. The point is we got a contract I would suggest to take him off the list.

The past 16 months have been the most horrible contracting experience that I have encountered. We signed a contract in January of 2020 and of May 2021, the project is still not completed. Non existent customer service, shotty work, non completion of the project, just to name a few. It took from January 2020 to August 2020 to install all but 2 of the windows, siding and frosted glass. They were supposed to order an additional window in August. We found out in November of 2020, that had not happened. They hadn't even been back to adjust the windows and door that was installed nor finish the siding and frosted glass. They originally told us they could match our siding and then told us in November that was not possible and basically forced me to use white. Fast forward to March 2021. We get a call to finish installation. They are a no show. I call and low and behold, they have ordered the incorrect window but have neglected to tell us. We were waiting at home all day for them to show!!! It is now May and I have heard nothing. I have tried emailing 3x since then, calling and leaving numerous messages and texting the owner to no avail. DO NOT let them take your money!

Visit was fine- got a call about the quote but told the gal- I never got the quote from the sales person.

The salesman was knowledgeable and it didn’t take long for the crew to come out to do the work. The roofing job itself is fine. The price was hefty but I don’t mind paying extra for quality work. The problem is that I was told someone would come do a walk around with me after the job was done and that the crew would clean up when they were done. Once the job was finished, the crew packed up and left and that was it. We did the inspection ourselves (because no one came back out to follow up like we were promised) and there were nails everywhere including in the ALLEY behind our garage (they shingled the garage). So disappointed in the lack of follow through. Not worth the price paid by a long shot.

This was the second time we ordered windows from Key Exteriors, Inc, and we will probably not order from them again. Our first experience went great. Andy came to our house and we plan on replacing all our windows, redoing our siding and will need a new roof. We cannot afford to do everything at the same time. We started with the windows, and they we were quoted a total of $40, 000. The first round was installed well. I was impressed with Tim and his partner. There is one picture attached to show his great window wrapping job. I ordered my second set of windows from Andy again around September 2019. He had everything we had previously discussed on file. Andy is a pretty nice guy, very friendly and I never felt pressured or uncomfortable by him. I ordered the same windows and they were installed February 28, 2020. A different person installed my windows this time and they are not okay. The wrapping I paid for wasn't even done for one of the windows. Trash including a big brown box was left in my yard. The windows have no clear caulking on the inside like my first set so they are drafty. Unfortunately, no one has been able to come to my house to rectify the situation after I made contact in early March. I even emailed pictures. I paid over $7,000 for these windows and it's very discouraging that I will have to hire someone else to fix them.

I contracted Key Exteriors for window replacement for my entire house. Most of the 14 windows were rather large. Rob and the crew did an excellent job installing the windows and made sure the mess was minimal. Everything was picked up and the old windows hauled away. Rob and the crew from Key Exteriors did a superior job and are welcome back to my home in the future.

Key Exteriors is wonderful to work with. All of the employees that we have met or spoke with over the phone have been great. We knew our home needed all new windows and eventually new doors. We had 30+ year old Pella windows that were drafty and almost all had the crank opening mechanism broken, so if you got them open they would not shut. Some were so bad they were painted shut. Well having children with 2nd story bedrooms with nonfunctional windows also became a fire hazard worry. To be fair we did get a few quotes from some companies that were at the Allen County Home and Garden Show. Key Exteriors was not the cheapest and was also not the most expensive for similar and comparable windows. One company would not quote us for the windows we wanted (casement) which was the type that is the house from when it was built. We were impressed with Key Exteriors salesman Michael Fox, he was very personable and down to earth, he also was not pushy. He listened to our needs, wants, and my many worries! He kindly answered all my crazy questions with no problems. He gave us a quote and when we asked if we would see some windows in person he invited us to showroom. We looked the windows over and tested them many times (our kids had fun testing the window cranks and locks and testing the doors). All the staff was very friendly and offered snacks and waters to us and our kids. They were all very knowledgeable when answering our questions. We decided to go with Key Exteriors for our window purchases. We are doing it in 3 stages to help it be reasonable and affordable for us personally. The 1st stage (2nd story bedrooms) is complete. We were very pleased with the quality of the window and the quality and workmanship of the installation. The gentlemen that installed our windows were Shane and Jack. I told them of my expectations and they said we hope to exceed that. They did just that! They were very friendly and cleaned up any mess from removal and install. They were very tolerant of my kids asking questions and wanting to watch them because as the kids said "it was so cool!" Super nice guys and made sure we were happy and had our questions answered. Mike Fox stopped by the next day to ensure we were happy and all was well. We already have the 2nd stage (bay window and sliding door) ordered and will finish the rest of the main level windows and front door soon after 2nd stage is completed. We were highly satisfied and thankful we decided to go with Key Exteriors. Local company with very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable people working there. We highly recommend Key Exteriors and are very satisfied with our windows and service we have gotten from them.

F+++++++++++++ CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE BUT KEY EXTERIORS! FIRST THEY ORDERED THE WRONG COLOR SIDING, SENCOND THEY SENT OUT UNINFORMED AND INCOMPITENT EMPLOYESS TO REMOVE OUR EXHISTING SIDING (THAT THEY WANTED TO JUST PUT THE NEW OVER, THE EXHISTING WAS ROTTING) THEY RUINED THE WRAP JOB ON OUR 3 FRONT WINDOWS. CAUSED MY HUSBAND TO WASTE A WEEK'S VACATION WAITING ON THEM TO RETURN TO DO A JOB THAT WHEN QUOTED WOULD BE 4 DAYS MAX!!!!! 4 WEEKS AND CHANGE LATER THEY SENT OUT A DECENT EMPLOYEE TO INSTALL SIDING AND REDO THE CRAP WRAP JOB AROUND OUR WINDOWS. HAD TO FIGHT AND THREATEN LEGAL ACTION TO GET THE PRICE LOWERED, THEN HAD THE NERVE TO TRY AND TURN US INTO COLLECTIONS AFTER WE PAID THE LOWERED AGREED UPON PRICE IN FULL!!!!!!!!!! GOD AWFUL, INCOMPETENT AND UNORGANIZED COMPANY! DO NOT HAVE THEM EVER COMEDO WORK ON YOUR HOME!

The job turned out beautiful! We went with a deep shake siding to replace the stucco. The suggested color was perfect. i am so happy we went with siding. Now it is maintenance free. The best part----they did a great job cleaning up afterward.

The "salesman" showed up, made a judgement call on a house I just purchased. Clearly the house was below his mega-mansion standards and the arrogance he emitted was off-putting. Minutes later when he found out I was a landlord, he (no joke) said: "I don't think this is going to work out. I don't do well with landlords, all they want to do is put cheap stuff on." He proceeded to walk away and I gave him a piece of my mind on wasting my time and being so presumptuous. He did apologize and proceeded to give me an estimate, which was about double any other offer I received. I will give him an A on knowing his product, but his demeanor, arrogance and lack of decorum with me spoke volumes about his company.

Windows are good quality, installers were polite and prompt. The installation was ok, one window was not installed flush to the outside (cheaper as they do no interior trim and stained wood as quoted and re-iterated prior to installation) so we have a 300K lake house with all flush windows except the largest... After calling numerous times, talking to the owner twice, visiting their location over three months... I sent a check less $300 and moved on... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !

We used them to install new siding on the front of our home, explicitly told the salesman 4 times we WANT EXISTING ROTTEN WOOD SIDING REMOVED AND NEW INSTALLED. They called to confirm the first day they would be arriving to begin work on our home, only to have NO ONE SHOW OR CALL, SO ONE VACTION DAY WASTED!!!! First worker arrived and want's to begin installing new siding over existing! Had to tell him 3 times NO, the old siding will be removed first before new is installed! Found out the ordered the wrong color siding and work was further delayed! Project was slated to take 3 to 4 days total (took nearly 3.5 weeks)!!! Told the first worker who came to remove siding that he was NOT to touch the wrap on our new front 3 window's.....so what does he do? Takes a circular saw to the siding next to the window's and RUINED the wrap that we told him NOT TO DISTURB! This should have been our first and last clue that they do not hire people who know what they are doing! We called the office multiple times to get someone else out to our home all while my husband is burning vacation days....by week 2 we had a good worker out to do the siding job that was only supposed to take 4 days max! He did good work, but I had to have him re do the window wrap that was not to be touched in the first place so this took longer!!! I had to company that installed our window's out to inspect the new wrap job and they stated it was not done very well and we will be having them re do it so our warranty on our window's wont be voided!!! We called the office several times to have someone come out and see the crap job their employee's were doing but no one came. At the time we received the bill we immediately called to complain that the job was done poorly, employee's trashed and smashed my landscaping and did not pick up nails or other debris as we had put in our contract after telling them we have two dogs and two small kids....No one seemed to care until we refused to pay the remainder of the bill and demanded a discount after my husband burnt multiple vacation day's waiting on their so called employee's to come do the great work they claim they can do! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY LIE AND EMPLOYEE'S DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

We are very pleased. Jobs well done. Done timely and people were very nice.

Key did an excellent job at relieving the trauma of reroofing. The work was well planned and extra care was taken to protect our landscaping and property. Bill, the owner, was very involved in the project to make sure it went well and met our hopes. He and his designer helped us select materials and colors to add beauty to our home. The workers were courteous and professional, and promptly addressed any concerns about how the finished product looked. When an unexpected pattern showed up in the slate tiles, we were assured it would be fixed, and it was. Key's clear goal was our satisfaction. We love our roof and get many compliments on it. We would use Key Exteriors again when we have a project.

Awful told me would come out right away to do tarp on roof never happend quoted me a price for roof and door they took so long had door done got a call from sup that organize crew he said the down payment would be enough for roof since they wouldnt have to do door and they would be out next day missed work no one showed so end of business day husband called told them not to bother the next day sat they showed up fixed roof and now i got bill for the rest and it was for total like they did door to 1500 down 3000 total not happy i was not treated with tespect they took me for a ride would not recommend

Absolutely terrible! We signed a contract, they refuse to do the work, and won't return my sizable deposit. I have called repeatedly, left numerous messages, and the owner won't return my phone calls. Not only am I without a roof, but I may never see my deposit again!
