Here To There Movers

Horrible experience. Dropped my desk twice, it is destroyed, damaged leg of antique table, lost parts on antique dresser mirror, lost shelf to bookshelf, missing bed frame parts, lost legs to storage cabinet. Company not offering a reasonable settlement. Dropped desk into wall causing large drywall hole, this has been repaired.

They left a bike in the middle of a downtown street. Delaware, around 24th and Delaware. I had to swerve to miss it with both my kids in the car.

This company refused to honor the Groupon terms and blamed Groupon for the error. The minimum time is 2 hours instead of one as the Groupon stated. At that point, I had already paid for the Groupon and was under a deadline to move so I decided to move forward with them rather than try to get my money back and find another mover. Big mistake. The movers contacted me the day before the move and asked me if I could move from the afternoon slot to the morning slot because they had a bigger job in the afternoon. I advised them that I had an interview at noon and they promised they would show up promptly at 8:00 and try to wrap up within an hour. The movers called at 8:30 to let us know that they were running an hour and a half late. During the move, the movers knocked the thermostat off the wall and I had to fix this out of my own pocket as my lease term was up and had to pass move out inspection. I filed a claim several months ago and the only response I've gotten was to let us know that the claim had been received and a request for me to call one day during a time I couldn't speak. I've sent 18 emails with no response and fear I will never see my refund for damages despite trying to contact the local office as well as headquarters. Stay away from these people at all costs.

They did a great job! Will definitely use them again!!

Great just took a little longer than expected

They were scheduled to show between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The team of 2 arrived at 9:00 pm and were completely overworked, complained about my furniture being heavy, and barely got my big furniture moved in 3 hours before I cut them off. I had to rent a truck and complete most of my move on my own. I would never hire this company again.

I have used Here To There Movers several times and they are prompt, professional, and get the work done quickly.

The movers did there job but lost a piece of furniture that took me, after making multiple calls to Indianapolis east side location, going to the warehouse and finding the piece myself just before it was destroyed. No compensation for missing piece and a lamp was broken in the process of the move. No return calls from manager of location.... nothing.

Wonderful! Quentin and Mike were ahead of schedule, professional, and extremely careful. The entire move took less than the suggested 2 hours. I would definitely recommend and will use for future moves!

Very well. This is my second time using Here to There and they've been great both times. Prompt and efficient. This time they sent someone out ahead of time to give a quote and the final bill was about $300.00 less than was quoted. Some dings to walls and doors, but that's due more to large furniture and a narrow stairway/door than any carelessness on their part.

The move went fine. The discarding went okay UNTIL one item that was not to be discarded (I told the movers at least twice) turned up missing. When I called to discuss this, the owner would not talk to me nor return my calls. In the end, he threatened me saying I had not paid for this service, which I had. He never took responsibility for my discarded item nor even apologized. This is not a trustworthy company. Do not use them!

They were incredibly responsive. I was able to schedule the job on Saturday and have the move done the next day, a Sunday. I was pleased with their care for the china cabinet that was an antique. It arrived at its destination in perfect condition.

These guys, Colt and Keegan, were great! Our move consisted of all furniture except for that in the living room, across town to our new home, with some pieces, most notably our roll-top desk, being a bit challenging. There were also many, many boxes involved along with a lot of miscellaneous items like bicycles, deck chairs, and such. All furniture was padded and wrapped, moved, and reassembled at our new location with no damage. These guys were great to work with, and I can't think of a single thing that we wanted them to do that they didn't. We were downsizing from our old, large, family home, to a new, smaller home that is a better fit for just my wife and me. After 30 years plus in one place, moving was/is a bit stressful. But these guys made it a breeze... almost fun! Can't say enough about these guys and the job they did for us. Would definitely recommend them.

Sadly, our family has gone through a very difficult time these last few years, and this last month has been a rough one. I called Here to There on I believe it was Tuesday and was able to get a move scheduled for Friday that same week. The lady on the phone was very informative, professional, but also friendly. I got a confirmation call the day before as expected, and on the morning of the move, Friday, the guys showed up at 8:15 ready to work. Colton, Pat, and Keith (I apologize if I'm off on the names, I don't have the receipt with me) were phenomenal! They were very friendly, worked great together, worked quick, but were also very careful with the items. What struck me the most about these guys was their care not only for their work, but also for us. We were moving my mom from this home to a small apartment, my 12 year old son was helping us, and these guys were conversing and interacting with my son and Colton took notice of my mom. What he didn't know is that she is in the middle of chemo treatment. She was having a rough time that day, and he took the time to ask how she was and if she needed anything sporadically throughout our 3 hour job. When we arrived at her new location to unload, she was not to worry about the items in her truck, that they would help unload. She, of course, said thank you but that she was fine and could do it. The guys helped her in figuring out the best way to fit her stuff in her new much smaller place, and then after they finished the truck, they ran out and completely unloaded her truck in a matter of minutes without her chance to protest :). I was impressed with the work, but even more so with the way they handled my mom. It's not everyday that you find people who are diligent in the their work, but also intentional about and sensitive to the needs of those around them. As my mom stated that day, "Colton, Pat and Keith...you are our heroes!"

They did a wonderful job for a reasonable price. They were also very prompt and professional.

They griped. I was suppose to have 4 guys but only 3 guys showed up. They completely missed the estimate. They also broke a mirror and didn't make it right. They promised they would send a check but they never have. It didn't impress me.

I ordered boxes through the 800 number and was given a delivery appt for 10 am on 3/11. The agent called and said the move he was doing was going to take a bit longer and he would be a couple hours late. He didn't show up until 5:30 pm. I paid for new boxes and half of what he brought me were used. It took me over a week to resolve the problem. I spoke with Donna in Indy who was very helpful. She told me 3 different times that I would be hearing from Josh in Fort Wayne or he would be bringing replacement boxes. Three different days I waited home all day and didn't even get so much as a phone call from Josh. The last contact with Donna she must have read the riot act to him. She came back to the phone and told me he would be here within the hour. He did get here and I got my new boxes This is a good company. They moved me here a year and a half ago and I plan to use them again. The only advice I can give is that if you are in Fort Wayne, make sure you don't have to deal with Josh.

This mover moved a lot of belongings from one home to a storage until. Leaving just enough furniture at the home for staging purposes to sell the house. This move occurred spring, 2013. The house sold and Here To There Movers did the move from the house to storage until the next house was ready. The largest storage unit was rented which should have held a normal 3 bedroom home. Items were pared down giving lots of things away. The movers did not stack the storage unit correctly and a second storage unit (smaller) was rented. The last move with these same movers occurred Nov. 2, 2013. They were 15 mins. late without a reason why. In a previous move they were late but a courtesy call was made and an explanation of needing to gas up the truck. They were 5 mins. late. No big deal. Because of the faulty stacking in a previous move, this added 2 hours to packing the truck. I was ready to and quot;discussand quot; this issue when billing time came but 2 hours were deducted for the mistake on the movers part. Just a note....if you make notes on the boxes, ie and quot;don't stack anything on top of this boxand quot; it is ignored. Most of the boxes made it to the correct rooms. The love seat is electric (foot rest). The electrical box/wiring was lost. No where to be seen. Several calls were made and NONE were returned. When the Indianapolis manager finally did answer, he put the onus back on me for not removing the cord. Funny, it was already wrapped up tightly. Funny, the other sofa's electrical cords weren't misplaced and were wrapped up just the same. I haven't checked on a replacement cord but am anticipating $50-$100 for a replacement. Nope, Here to There Movers took no responsibility of the loss. Instead put the fault on the consumer. I highly urge you to NOT use the Fort Wayne branch of Here to There Movers. I hesitate to use this company wherever they are located. Poor quality. Flunked customer service. Maybe 2 Men and a Truck would be an option.

The Here to There men arrived ready to work. After explaining what we needed to have moved, they wrapped all furniture and loaded their truck quickly. As we were moving items to another home several counties away, the men had a GPS and actually arrived at the other property before I did! They quickly unloaded the items and loaded other items to be returned to our home. The men did not take a lunch break, but continued to work until 1:00pm. We were very pleased with the movers. The men were friendly, efficient and took good care of our items. I would not hesitate to recommend Fort Wayne Here to There Movers or use them again. Costs were $85 per hour, along with an $80 one-time charge for the truck use. Moving to another county also incurred an extra charge. Our bill was $500 for everything. I had a Groupon so I paid $400. Warning: I must mention that I was not impressed with the national 800 phone number staff. You must book the local movers with them. I had a day and time for the move booked a month ahead and no movers showed up. When I called the national office, they had no record of my appointment. Since I had made arrangements to stay home and have furniture moved out of the way in preparation for the move, I was not happy. I was able to book the move a week later and all went well. They wanted to set up the move for a Friday, which is considered a and quot;weekendand quot; move, and is more expensive. Since when is Friday the weekend when the move would be scheduled for 8am? They also promised a confirmation call prior to the move to confirm the time and give an estimate of the costs. I did not received this call, so I called the local franchise, who only confirmed the time.

AVOID!!! DO NOT USE!!! The two men who loaded our household goods were poorly trained and overworked. Did not pad delicate furniture. Loaded truck haphazardly. Best of all, they nearly ROLLED THE TRUCK on the way to our new home. Driver started drifting off the Interstate, caught the drift, and whipped the truck back onto the road. Needless to say, all the household goods got a good thrashing. Lots of busted and ruined furniture. Company said they would pick up the busted furniture and repair. No show.... At the price I was paying, I would have been better off renting a U-Haul and hiring Moving Helpersand reg; to load and unload the truck. YGWYPF, and at this price, you don't get much from Here 2 There except strong arms and backs. Go somewhere else for a quality move. p.s. It might seem expensive, but the move insurance based on value is worth every penny. DON'T do the pennies per pound insurance. You Will Regret It!

The Here to There Mover's team was outstanding. They arrived on time and quickly surveyed the job. Within the first hour they had all the furniture padded/wrapped and the very large upright piano loaded on the truck. Mike, the team lead, listened to our priorities and concerns and worked hard to meet them in every way. They were very careful not to damage the wall/doors or furniture on the way down the stairs or out the door. They showed quite a bit or skill in packing the truck and even more in making the contents fit into our storage unit. The team didn't take any breaks during the 5+ hour job; we certainly got our money's worth. I plan to use them again when we move our furniture out of storage to our new home.

The three fellows we had, Michael, Patrick and James, worked for 13 straight hours on one of the hottest days of this summer. They were EXTREMELY polite, attentive to our wishes, very, very careful with our items and just couldn't have been nicer or more efficient! At one point I changed my mind about an item and they had to unload part of the truck to take it off and put it back together to leave with the house. They were so nice about it even though it was my fault. They had to carry about 15-20 boxes of books up the stairs from our old house and then up some more stairs at our new place. They had to work with many stairs for lots of the heavier pieces. It was hard to get them to sit down and take a break and when they did it was just for a short time. We will ask for these fellows with any future moves and will highly reccommend them to any and all. They were terrific!!!

I hired 3 men with an Angie's List Discount of third man free. They moved me from 721 Greenlawn ave 46808 to the State and Colisuem area. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and friendly. The only problem encountered was my lack of enough funds to have them complete the job. I limited their time to what I had funds for, and they came in under the specified time. It was a great team. They did everything I asked them to and more. I would definitely hire them again.

Three men came with the big moving truck. They were prompt. We had a lot of stuff to move: everything in a 2story plus a basement, over 2400 square feet of stuff! They didn't complain even though it was a 95 degree summer day! They probably took 2 five minute breaks. I was very impressed. They were proactive in helping us get as much moved as we could in an 8 hour time frame.

3 men arrived promptly at 9:00 AM and moved our 3000 sq ft home by 6:00 PM. We had boxed everything and were ready when they arrived. We used an Angie's List Coupon for the 3rd worker free. They were professional and friendly. Always asked before they took a short break. We moved to a rental home and will use them when we move again!
