He stopped by later that same day and was able to fix it right away. He appeared very knowledgeable and to be an expert in his area. He also explained the problem really well so that I could understand what was going on and what he was doing to fix it. He also looked at a few other items in our home. He was very efficient and was very reasonably priced. I would absolutely use him again! I like that he performed the work himself. Its his local family run business.

Greg was so nice. He was honest and prompt. He let you observe and was such a hard worker. The quote that he gave us was with in a couple of dollars. I would recommend him to anybody. He is the best contractor we have had since we have lived in Indiana. A million a+ for him.

As always, the service was top notch! I have used Gerke Electric for many, many years and each and every time Greg has been professional, kind, competent, accomodating, and friendly. All of the work he has done for us has been professional and competent. He never once took a "shortcut" or left anything unfinished or subpar. He is a stickler for safety, which I appreciate more than I can express. Our home - our home is older and has had many electrical issues over the years...some minor, some very serious. He has a knack for prioritizing and at those times when we were in dire need, whether from a serious, dangerous issue....or left without electricity, he has never left us "hanging". On many occasions, he put his own comfort and rest on hold by coming out to help us on his days and evenings off when our electrical wires went haywire and we feared a possible electrical fire could result...and unlike many providers of any kind these days, he didn't take financial advantage of us when he worked during his off hours. His concern for people's safety is genuine and he puts 110% into his work. He is extraordinarily educated and competent in all things electrical. Our business - the work he has performed for our business has been equally competent and accomodating. He has done several jobs for our business, as well, and again, has never taken financial advantage because it was work performed for a company. Bottom Line - Gerke Electric is the very first on our list for personal and business needs. In my opinion and from our experience with him, you cannot find anyone better to service your electrical needs.

He arrived on time and on short notice. The project took a lot longer than expected but he stayed until the problem was identified and fixed. I would definitely recommend Gerke Electric for home repairs to anyone who asked. Prompt, professional, and patient.

very professional, followed up prior to the scheduled date and time to reconfirm that we were ready, when my fiance's cell phone wouldn't work, he let her use his . . . very pleased with the whole experience.

I called 7/9/13 and arranged for him to come & give us an estimate. He said he'd call and stop over within 2 weeks. He did just that , gave us an estimate of $600.00. We gave him the okay and told him we didn't really care when he did it as long as it was done by Fall because we run a heater on the porch and would need it then. He called the first of Sept and said not to worry that he would get the job done by the time we needed the heater running. He was as good as his word, came 9/12 and did the job before we needed the heater. He put a new double plug in the porch and a GFCI outside so my husband also has an electric outlet outside with the added safety feature of the GFCI. Ran the wiring in conduit to our garage and put a new circuit on our electrical panel. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself which I appreciated. He had to put up with two barking dogs and did it very well. We really liked him personally and the job was done very professionally. We told him that now we have an electrician that we will definately use in the future. We definately would recommend him to anyone!

Greg, the main man came out on short notice within a couple hours of when I called the company. He was timely, civil, professional, and knowledgeable. Pretty cool customer. It's always cool to watch any contractor, in this case an electrician, perform their craft. They have all the tools and knowledge to do a job quickly, efficiently and properly. It's impressive to watch, and like anything else in life, you get what you pay for. And in this case, it was totally worth it! I have already referred this company to a friend of mine today.

The wall switch in the master bathroom quit working on a Saturday. We called Gerke Electric that same day to see if they did work in the Leo-Cedarville area. We spoke with Greg Williams who said they did and could come on the following Monday afternoon. Greg asked if we had any other switches that we were having problems with and suggested we think about it as it would be cheaper to fix more "now" than for him to make other trips later. We appreciated the suggestion as we had been having intermittent problems with the switch in the other bathroom and a switch in the utility room. Monday morning we received a call from Greg saying he could come in the morning if that was acceptable. It was. The work was professionally done. The service was excellent. We will definitely call Gerke Electric the next time we have an electrical problem.

Master Electrician, Greg Williams came to our home and quickly determined the problem with our 20+-year-old polycarbonate refractor wallpak light fixture, which is attached to the back of our home. He left and located another light fixture locally and returned within the hour to install. Mr. Williams was: Prompt Proficient Professional Personable I will call Gerke Electric again for any electrical problems at our home.

We had a separate company installing a dishwasher in our house. It was a new project so electrical, plumbling and construction needed to be done in order to make space for the dishwasher. Our handyman did not have the license/'know-how" to fix our electrical problem and suggested Gerke Electric Inc to fix the problem. I called Gerke Electric mid-morning and our serviceman responded immediately and made the trip to our house the same way. I was told that Gerke does not supply free estimates so I knew that once the service person came we would probably just go with him if he could get the job done. He did! It took him less than an hour's time to wire our dishwasher to an existing outlet through our wall. Not only was he fast and courteous as well as professional, I know I would definitely use his services again through Gerke Electric. The cost was affordable and I was so thankful that he could come the same day so our home project could be completed!

Greg was able to come to my house within about an hour of first receiving my call, which was great because I was concerned about going too long without heat. When I told him what had happened, he told me what he suspected had gone wrong (improper installation of the outlet I'd been using). He did some routine troubleshooting, then opened up the outlet and found exactly what he'd suspected, and showed me what should have been done differently when the outlet was installed. He also told me he wouldn't be surprised if there were similar problems with at least some of my other outlets, and he explained to me how I could actually make the corrections myself. The total bill came to only $100, which seemed very reasonable to me.
