Description of Work: We have a big issue with the city of Fort Wayne and with the help of Gene sewer, they search and found the issue of the flood in our basement realize it was some contractor that had busted our sewer line! They were great very helpful.

+ -1 moreVery unprofessional. I had called, he'd said he'd call back but never did, and then he sent two guys unexpectedly the next day. The guys looked at our bathroom, said it was too small, and that they couldn't do anything because their machine wouldn't fit. They voluntarily did not charge for this. I got another plumber. Then the next day Gene called. He was cranky and threatened to "spread the word" about me because I hadn't paid the trip charge, and wouldn't let him come back out to my house.
Description of Work: Nothing. We had backed up drains in our house, but his guys couldn't do anything about it.

+ -1 moreThey were on time and somewhat professional, but machine tracked mud all over the carpet. They didn't clean up the roots after they were done and honestly they were not very thorough and did a pretty poor job of adequately cleaning the line. A good cleaning usually lasts about 6 months to a year, but here I am three months later having it cleaned again. In the past, using other companies, they spent a good 30 to 40 minutes clearing the line, but Genes only spent about 20 minutes. I switched to save a few dollars and it wasn't worth it.

Description of Work: The first man came out and gave an estimate. They tried a couple of things and it was evident that it would have to replaced. They did that very quickly and did a very good job. The Price was $3500.00 but when all is considered I felt that was fair price Note the other people that I called wanted to charge me $200.00 just to come out and give an estimate. They were not plumbers they were professional estimaters. . 5 estimates a day would be $!000.00 a day . They would right down some figures and at least talk spent aleast they would have talked talked for one hour.GENE'S WAS VERY DIFFERENT!!

+ -1 morei first called genes sewer service when my basement flooded in feb/2009. I had called several businesses but they couldn't get to my home for several days. i called genes and they were at my home within an hour. i have used them every since for my yearly sewer clean out.
Description of Work: My basement flooded after very heavy rains. I hadn't had my sewer lines cleaned out & tree roots had caused the back up. Genes came to my home within an hour after I called them to clean out the pipes.

+ -1 moreThey were the only plumber service that was able to find the problem with the sump service. I had several companies in before them and no one could figure out what was going on. They were able to solve the problem and install a valve that prevented backup from the city sewer system.
Description of Work: Genes Sewer Service repaired a water back-up problem in my basement, related to my sump pump.

Description of Work: I have had a leak comming into the kitchen ceiling and could not find where it started. It got so bad needed to call a plumber. They came out same day I called and found where the leak was comming from and had to get parts so they needed to come next day and they did and repaired it and replaced my faucets which someone had put the wrong kind of screws in so it took a bit to get them off.
