We recently moved to a 95 yr old home. We were told we had a dry basement when in fact we did not. We looked in to basement waterproofing with a couple different companies but the scope of the work and the cost didn’t feel like the right solution. We had Don come out and he was very knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. He recommended some things that the other companies did not. He actually talked us out of mor expensive fixes. He said he believes in starting with the least intrusive, least expensive options first. His solutions worked for us. We would 10/10 recommend Don and his crew at Foundation Doctors LLC.

The Foundation Doctor did a great job! Don appeared to be very knowledgeable about foundations and drainage issues. He gave some very helpful suggestions, and actually recommended that we do less work than we thought we might have to do. There were a few delays in the process due to weather and other circumstances that Don couldn't foresee or control, but he kept us informed about the process--and delays--along the way. His team did some repointing of mortar for us which was a little messy. When we asked Don about this, he and his team came back to our home and cleaned things up pretty well. We were very pleased with the work Foundation Doctor did, and have found that it pretty much corrected our basement water problem. We have been managing that for many years, so we wish we had called them sooner!

Don and his crew were very professional. The new driveway is everything I wanted it to be.

Went quickly. Never bothered anyone inside the house with questions or need to use bathroom. No swearing, spitting or music blareing. Went about their work quietly & efficiently.

They did everything to our specifications. Everyone was very polite. The men did not eat, drink, spit or leave garbage around the worksite. When heavy rains were forecast, they covered everything with plastic and as soon as the rain stopped, they were back bright and early to remove the plastic and continue their work. They were so quiet, most of the time I wasn't even aware that they had been here, done their work and left. I think our driveway is a little wider than it was. They also widened our old walk along the side of the house making it much easier to get the bins out for garbage pickup. We're Pleased.

We did have to have them come back out. Our air unit was at a slant and we had some seepage. They came back and built up around the unit. The last heavy rain we had was up to the bottom step of our back door and no leaking!! I am worry free!!

FD gave us a very thorough evaluation of foundation situation. Used laser levels and estimated the amount of drop and shared with us what was going on. Don H. is VERY helpful and professional. Unfortunately he said he did not do the kind of work required to fix.

Don and the crew explained in detail the work to be done. They took weather conditions in consideration when pouring the cement. A job well done!

It was a significant time before I received a call back after requesting a quote. He apologized and explained that he was very busy. I had already obtained my other quotes and made a decision at the time he called.

Excellent work and great suggestions to achieve what I needed. Replaced asphalt driveway with a concrete one and installed a trench drain and drainage tile through yard to solve a long-standing problem with rainwater running down driveway toward the house. Created patio in shape I wanted and fixed issues with older sidewalks. Highly recommend.

We had Don do some foundation work for us three years ago and appreciated his work ethic, quality, and price. So now with another job he came out and inspected and told us to call a carpenter first because, not that he did not want the business, but we had to do some improvements on the sill plate and decking area before he could work on the foundation. I really appreciate his honesty, saying we might not need him if a carpenter can fix the sill plate.

He showed up on time, answered all my questions and gave me some referrals. The gentleman was very professional.

Don was great to work with. I had contacted him last fall and he provided a detailed quote for the job. When we decided to give him the go ahead he opted to wait until spring since cold weather was coming and he did not want to pour concrete and risk having it damaged by cold weather. He said his quote would still be good in the spring. Don contacted us in mid March and asked if we still wanted the work done. We gave him the go ahead and from day one he made sure he was meeting our expectations throughout the process. He also made a couple suggestions that really improved the end result. His workers were careful and took their time to do the job right. For example they placed tarps on the house siding to protect if from concrete splatter. They also kept damage to the yard to a very minimum. Just a few inches of sod were disturbed along the edges of the areas where the concrete was poured to allow placement of forms. They were careful not to damage other portions of sidewalks and driveway that we were not replacing. The demolition work took about a day and a half. The concrete pours were completed over several days to allow sections to cure before pouring adjacent sections. My wife and I were both extremely satisfied with the finish and look of the concrete. I would highly recommend Foundation Doctors for your concrete needs.

We did not go ahead to complete the job. The rules on city payment for public sidewalks changed and we want to wait for more information from the city.

Started out well. The guys were pleasant and proffessional . Cracks closed up until the end of the job. Then they raised it too much and it put a foot long crack in my drywall where I never had one! I was told that sometimes can happen...Now it is a y ear or so later and all the cracks have reappered and some in areas that weren't cracked before. The doors is sticking again in the center of the house. When I went into the crawlspace to see what was happening I found they had shimmed the main beams with plywood!!! which are now collapsing and causing all the problems to reoccur. Not a real happy customer. Have not contacted this business again as I won't be using them again.

It went well, his crew came and worked at it. Don is an artist with his backhoe, too. When we had a problem after the work was completed, we called and he came right out, apologized profusely for missing it when he said he saw it, and got right to it, fixing the missed crack. His work and attitude was appreciated by us.

I have received numerous estimates over the past couple years and my driveway had crumbled so badly I could not go through another a Winter with it. I called Foundation Doctors in early August for an estimate. I actually had to wait 3 weeks for this appointment because they are busy. I was concerned about getting it done before the leaves started to fall. Don showed up right on time, listened to what I wanted to do, which was widen what I had, and get about 14 feet of old sidewalk torn out and just filled in with dirt and seeded. He assured me they could do all this and get it done before the leaves fell. He told me that day what he thought the estimate would be, and said he would put a little design in it. The next day the quote arrived via email, which I had requested, and it was very close to his estimate. Bottom line is I accepted, sent them half and waited for the call as to when they would be coming. A couple weeks later he called, and the very next day brought the equipment in, and the day after that the work began. What I really liked about this company is they didn't tear up my yard with their equipment. They filled in all areas that needed to be, seeded, and left cones at the bottom of the drive to protect it the entire time. Driveway looks beautiful, and he did a design along the border of the entire driveway. I wasn't expecting that and I have to admit it really looks great. As I mentioned I had received many estimates, this company was one of the best, but they left things perfectly and it really mattered to me the didn't tear up my yard.

Went great, very professional and answered all of our questions. They have a two to three week waiting list but they will be doing the work.

Even with all the rain this year, Don was able to do the work after about four weeks. He arrived on time with his crew. They tore out the old asphalt and concrete and formed the new sidewalks and drive the first day. The second day the concrete arrived. The third day lines were cut and the concrete was sealed. We had stone along the old drive and Don replaced the stone with new and filled dirt in along the sidewalks. We are very happy with the work. Our old 1967 house looks very up-to-date. Don and his crew were courteous and professional every step of the way. I also appreciate Don's wife for answering the phone whenever I called. It's so nice to talk to a friendly lady instead of an answering machine!

Mr. Hendrick arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Listened to what we described was going on with our driveway. He told us there was not much he could do, giving some examples of what might work, but telling us it was not really worth the cost because the problem would likely return. We greatly appreciate his honesty and if we have "real" concrete work in the future, we will give him a call.

Owner of company was very courteous and professional. Service was very prompt and timely. Beautiful job on finished project. He even added a pop-up water drain on our trench that came out on new sidewalk at no additional charge. We may have to have additional cement work done in the future and will definitely use Foundation Doctors again.

We had scheduled with Foundation Drs to inspect a crawl space. I needed it for a home purchase and had scheduled it a week in advance. On the day of, they called and cancelled just 4 hours before our appointment. Because the inspection had to be completed on a timeline, I had to drop everything and find a different provider that could come out the same day. I was really disappointed in the last minute cancel. It was very inconvenient and I would not recommend this provider due to that. So, the service was not performed.

What a pleasure to deal with someone that is both knowledgeable and honest. Don could have sold us a bill of goods, but instead he honestly said our cracks are normal and related to wood frame expansion and contraction. We'll keep him in mind should we have any needs in the future.

Let me know when chain link fence would be open (our dog isn't" "friendly") and worked quickly to replace chain link and notified me when it was back in place. Good cleanup and haul off of old concrete.
