+ -1 moreCame out on time for a quote for completely new AC system. Came back with great price. Accepted the quote. Called us a week before scheduled install to let us know that he would not be able to do the install due to one of workers quitting on him. Had to go back through all of the other quotes and thankfully another company was able to pretty much match his quote.
Description of Work: Came highly recommended from neighbors and friends. Came out on time for a quote for completely new AC system. Quoted us a great price. We accepted the quote. + -1 moreFW Heating and Air repaired and corrected the incorrect installment of the new furnace. He was professional, agreed with the findings of the home inspection. He completed the repair quickly and charged only for his time. Great company.
Description of Work: We have used FW Heating & Air many times at our previous home! Great service and excellent work. In this case, we were selling our old home, the buyer preferred some work to move the exhaust in the chimney to be performed after an inspection was deemed questionable. In late 2008, there was an ice storm while the home was listed for sale. With a total remodel and a new furnace installed from a competitor chosen by the contractor to repair the home; it was found that the furnace exhaust was not quite to code.

+ -1 moreFort Wayne Heating and Air is the only company I'd call for my heating/air needs! Locally owned, and extremely honest and fair with prices. They won't try to talk you into something you do not need. Mike fixed our old furnace and installed our central air,,, to then install our new furnace when the old one was beyond repair. The old furnace went out on the coldest Sunday of the year, but they were out within a couple of hours of calling them. They have done our work for years now and wouldn't consider anybody else. Hopefully they stay in business for a very long time.
Description of Work: Fixed old furnace, installed central air,,, Installed new furnace about 3 years ago. I didn't put an amount because there is too many variables to change the cost. I can say, everything they have done for us over the years is under $5,000 and they were here a lot with our old furnace! Very reasonable on prices. The year 2000 is the first time we hired them,,,, using them to this day.

I can trust that his service and repair recommendations are based on my individual needs and not some gimmick to fatten his pockets. In addition to being trustworthy, Mike has demonstrated that he is knowledgeable, competent, professional and dependable. Best of all, his prices are very reasonable. I have (and will continue) to recommend Fort Wayne Heating and Air to friends and colleagues.
Description of Work: Today, Mike performed annual service to two furnaces, which he installed 3 years ago. And every year, Mike services both air conditioning units.
