I felt that my first contact with the service providers wasn't very positive. They weren't friendly or professional. I had them come out a second time to put the furnace door back on and the man that came out was professional. I was happy with my second experience with them.

When the central a/c in my house stopped working, I had two companies (which I chose from Angie's List) provide estimates. My house is approximately 15 years old, and admittedly, I haven't had much routine maintenance on both the furnace and central a/c. So I wasn't too surprise that both the furnace and central a/c would need some major repairwork. At first, I was planning to go with the other company (they had provided an initial estimate of $4450, which was about $1000 cheaper than Doc Dancer's estimate). I called up Doc Dancer to ask why the estimates were so different given that the repair work was essentially the same (replacing a 5 ton, 13 SEER Rheem condenser and coil). The owner eventually called me up, saying that he had found a deal for a new 5 ton, 15 SEER Rheem heat pump, for which they would install just the a/c portion of the heat pump... the cost estimate $4400. Since the equipment they were installing would be more energy efficient and they could do the work sooner, I chose Doc Dancer for the repairs. The provider arrived as scheduled, but soon after getting into the furnace, they felt that there was additional repair needed for the furnace. The cost would be an additional $2500. My first reaction was to ask them to repair what was initially agreed upon... I would get other estimates for the additional work. However, they stated that it would cost more to do the work later. At that point, I reluctantly agreed to let them do the additional repairs. My only issue with the provider is that I dislike surprises... particularly when the provider felt that additional repairs were needed to correct a potentially hazardous situation with the furnace. I obviously would have preferred knowing the entire extent of the repairs needed beforehand.

Provided custom-sized filters, did service of furnace. Technician was polite and professional. There is nothing wrong with this company but we would not personally use again because we have another company we prefer. We tried this one out just because of the offer.

They were helpful and knowledgeable. We ended up needing to replace our furnace. We ended up going with a different company for the replacement.

The installers, Tony and Kyle arrived on time and finished on schedule. Doc Dancer sent a third installer, Andy on the final day to ensure the installation was completed on schedule. As with most 60 year homes, there were a couple of issues during the installation. Tony and Kyle worked around some difficult problems and never even suggested there would be any additional charges for work that exceeded the original scope of work. The system was fully installed, including the removal and replacement of the existing duct work and hauling away of the old duct work and air handler, for the original price, no "surprises" in the final cost, and did an EXCEPTIONAL job of cleaning up after a very messy and dusty installation. We recommend and will use Doc Dancer for all of our future home comfort needs, including the installation of the AC system this summer and probable replacement of our water heater in the future. Very preofessinal and friendly from estimate through completion. It was a brand/style that the servicemen were not familiar with (but was what we requested). It took a bit longer than expected, but the work was done well. All service calls and routiene maintenece since have been promptly done. I do not hesitate to reccomend them to all of our friends. In this line of work, you get what you pay for. Doc Dancer is reliable and definately worth the price!

I utilize Doc Dancer yearly for maintenance on my furnace, humidifier and central air,needless to say i'm pleasantly pleased with their service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The three men that put it in were not that professional. I heard one of them say they would take another day to work on it., just cause they wanted to leave by a certain time. I think they took 3 days.

I have a prepaid maintenance plan, so I did not have to pay anything when I used them in March. They arrived when they were supposed to, cleaned up after themselves, and did a good job.

Called for service. Serviceman showed up a day earlier than promised (after calling for clearance). Was unable to repair A/C and defined the problems. After talking with me the representative offered to bid on a new system which I accepted. After research, I decided to go ahead. I thought that the price and company record was acceptable. The same representative showed up with another man on the scheduled day and time and installed the system just as promised. Very professional. Put in a good looking installation. Tested the system. Completely instructed me on how to operate the equipment. Cleaned up after themselves. One day process. I am very happy with the equipment and price and would recommend Doc Dancer to a friend.

Doc Dancer showed up when promised and completed all the work in one day. They were courteous and professional. They even filed the rebate forms for us.

They were very prompt, did a wondeful job. the house had been empty for a long time so I wanted the vents cleaned. They did a great job and the house smells so much better now. Best money I ever spent ($400)! Found that the furnace needed replaced so had a new furnace and AC installed the next day. They were prompt, professional, and even enjoyed having them around!

We have used them before too. We usually get their yearly plan. I would recommend them and would use them again in the future.

We had an estimate done by this company last year when we were thinking of having a new heater installed. They were very friendly and professional. They called when they were on the way and were very thorough in explaining all of our options. I liked this company and although we didn't have our furnace replaced at the time I would recommend them as a company to friends and family for estimates given my experience. They were a company that I felt was trustworthy.

They installed our furnace two years ago and we?ve had a service contract with them since. They are very professional, they do things quickly, and we haven?t had any problems with them whatsoever.

I have used their services before. They are good. They are reputable and will work out any problems that come up. They come when they say they will and they are very accommodating and flexible.

We are always impressed with how prompt and professional they are when they re on site. I have always used them and will continue to do so.

The experience was not good. We had a lot of problems. First of all, we had to get new electrical because we have a very old house and they had used the wrong size cable for the A/C unit. It stated on the unit what to use, so it would have been very dangerous if we had not caught that mistake and hooked it up to a new electrical box. They also drained it into a hole in the floor of our basement, which filled up after a while and we had to pump it out. We called them and they said that was not part of the estimate and that they would charge an extra $250 for drainage and I didn't think that was right.
