Description of Work: Prepared exterior of home for painting. Scrapped loose paint, caulked where necessary, and correctly primed the bare wood prior to painting.

+ -1 moreHe arrived on time to look the house over. We spent quite a while finding just the right colors. I received a written proposal, and he arrived to work when he said he would. Even though the job took quite a while, and he could not come every day (due to weather) there was no mess ever left behind. He did all he said, and more to achieve what we had talked about. Since then he has done other work for me, including interior work (bathroom remodel), each time the work is done well and on time with amazingly little disturbance to the rest of the house!
Description of Work: I live in an old wood sided house (1886) and a previous aluminum siding was removed a few years back. The paint was in bad shape. The worst damage in the siding was repaired by a different contractor. Major gave knowledgeable advice on how the job should be done and was well versed on historic looks. He scraped, repaired some more, prepped and painted the house. He used 5 colors to achieve a calm, but interesting look.
