 + -1 moreWe have never actually purchased anything from Contract Interiors but have dealt with them several times searching for the right tile and researching various materials. So I can at least say that they are incredibly professional and extremely helpful, and we will not hesitate to do business with them in the future. After dealing with them several times I just felt compelled to leave some feedback.

 + -1 moreI spent about $2200. They never show up on time but they'r every good. So it's forgivable but they should know it's not cool. Their work is fantastic.

 + -1 moreThe rep we dealt with was very knowledgable and was a tremendous help in assisting us in making appropriate decisions in the decorating process. The installation took place on schedule, and their prices are competitive.
Description of Work: We built a new home. The builder used Contract Interiors for all of the flooring. I don't have the dollar amount of this project. We were close to the builder's budget for this part of the building process.

 + 0 moreThe ordering process was good overall and the bid price beat the other bid by quite a lot. The installation was beautiful for the linoleum which is a skill (especially for the sheet type). The help on the design for the border of the 1x1 ceramic tile was excellent, however somehow between taking the order and installing the floor, the grout color was changed without our consultation. It matches the file tile rather than contrasts with it. Unfortunately, we weren't able to be there during the grout session, and the installer must not have checked the color, or the order didn't convey the color we ordered. When I mentioned this, no help was given to me as a recourse on how to solve this problem, other than I could stain the grout myself. If you try this company, check the order and get a copy of the order before the installation, then be sure to be present during installation.
Description of Work: 1. supplied and installed linoleum (tile and sheet) in four rooms, including subfloor. 2. supplied and installed 1 x 1 ceramic tile with border in one room, including subfloor.

 + 1 moreWe have used Contract Interiors and they were good. It’s been 5 or 6 years when they did the service. They replaced our carpet with tile and they did a very good job. The approximate cost of the service is about $3,000.
Description of Work: Contract Interiors removed our carpet and put on a porcelain tile.

 + 0 moreThe estimate was in line with other companies. Once we were given an estimate, Contract Interiors did not get in touch with us unless we initiated contact; so no pushy sales. In the end, we decided to go with another local company. A few years ago, Contract Interiors installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen. We were very pleased with their work at that time.

Description of Work: We wanted to try and match existing laminate in our dining room to replace the carpet in our living room. Our builder told us this was the company he purchased the laminate thru. He also gave a contact name. I called initially and left a message for the contact but did not get a return call. I then went to the business. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked to see the contact and I was asked to wait. Then a different salesman came to talk to me. He explained that my contact was busy and he would be helping me. He was so helpful at first. Even after discovering that we could not match the existing laminate. He offered alternative solutions and seemed so promising. When we finally decided that we needed to remove all the laminate and put new down he came to measure. After this point things went downhill. I had to call multiple times before I got the estimate. When I finally got the estimate I was amazed. The quote was three times the reasonable amount. And I never heard back from him again. I truly felt that my business was no longer worth his time for some reason. It seemed to be a bother just to get a quote and then it was so inflated there would have been no reasonable expectation of getting my business. These things plus never being contacted again told me the bogus quote was an attempt to be rid of me. Please bear in mind that I had gotten estimates from two other companies and did extensive research before I ultimately made my decision. Trust me when I say their quote was two to three times any reasonable amount.

 + 1 moreThe floor looks like a million bucks... they pulled the carpet and hauled it away... vacuumed everything up then started on the hardwood. It took a bit of special cutting to match up with hardwood in the adjoining room... cant tell they were laid several years apart. Then they removed the old tile in the foyer and replaced it with slate in an irregular pattern. Wow. I think they were in and out over a three day period. Cleaned up after themselves each time. Nice job guys.

 + 1 moreI went in and picked out flooring several months before I needed it. When I returned to finalize my decisions I made a few changes. These changes ended up to be major. My original quote was for $10,500 and when they faxed me the final quote to sign, he said it was higher because of the changes BUT the quote ended up being almost 40% higher. He didn't give much explanation other then 'well, you upgraded the carpet, padding and you choose (by his recommendation) different, more expensive tile'. I think that when you're talking roughly $4,000 that you should sit down and go over it. Do not just fax a quote and expect the client to know where their money is going. Needless to say, I did not use them for my flooring. I got the job done for roughly $12,500 using someone else.
Description of Work: I am building a new home and they did an estimate on the flooring. They quoted all flooring including ceramic tile in the kitchen, dining room, utility room and bathrooms and carpet in bedrooms and living room.
