After having the furniture repaired, we decided to have a custom glass piece made to protect the furniture. When picking this up after swift service, I realized some unique items for the home in their store. All in all, a good friendly atmosphere built on quality.

+ 0 moreI removed an old broken wall-mounted A/C in my living room and wanted to turn it into a window. I found City Glass through Angie's List. The gentleman there took the measurements I provided, recommended the type of glass to use, and they had it ready the same day. It fit perfectly! Excellent service for reasonable cost.

Description of Work: They replaced two arched Low E insulated windows that they had installed only seven years earlier, charging us twice the original price. After waiting several weeks for the first delivery, when then the measurer/installer arrived to install, he abruptly packed up, telling me they did not fit. When he had measured, he insisted both windows were the same size, even thought our blinds/shades contractor had different measurements for each arched window. Ironically, the reordered windows were ready within a few days. When removing the "old" windows, he made a huge gouge in the trim on the inside of the house. When installing, the same guy did not properly caulk/seal the new panes and within a couple of months we had condensation between the panes. By then, we had installed new shades. I did not want to have City Glass come near our home again, in fear they would further damage the interior woodwork and tear up the brand-new shades.

+ 0 moreThey did an okay job. They were a little slow in coming, even though I told them I was in a rush to move out. She said that they place orders 1x a week and they had just placed the order. After a few weeks, a man showed up - not to put the windows in, but to re-measure. Once the windows came in a week later, they were quick to put the windows in, however.

+ 0 moreIt went well! I was happy with the customer service. Everyone was friendly and professional. They said it would take about 2 weeks, but there was a hold up at the glass manufacturer, so it took about 3.5 weeks. Once the double pane glass arrived it only took 2.5 hours to install it. The window was brand new when broken. The gaskets are a little off and some of the vinyl seams (where the window was taken apart) have gaps. Not sure if it should be perfect or if this is expected when a window is taken apart and put back together.
