We had a roof leak that caused some wet drywall and insulation. Provider came and gave us an estimate for repairs. He said that they were quite busy and would come remove the wet drywall and insulation in a month or so when they had time. They assured me that it was quite safe to do so and that mold would not be an issue. I was uncomfortable waiting that long because of the risk of mold, so I removed the drywall and insulation myself. Some mold had already started, so I dried the area and treated it. I hired another contractor to repair the drywall at less than half the price quoted me by the provider.

Steve who was personable and respectful, arrived on time to give the estimate. He told me my exterior window number just made the minimum cost of $90.00 for an exterior cleaning. I asked him to separate out the interior and exterior quotes. He quoted $112.50 and $8.00 additional for doors. Steve asked if I had received any other estimates. I replied I had not and he then proceeded to try to interest me in locking in the rate with an annual cleaning which I declined. I presented Steve with a coupon from the advertisement for $50.00 off. Without missing a beat, he informed me that he forgot to add a $30.00 trip charge which he was obligated to do. So the advertised $50.00 reduction was reduced to $20.00. His slickness was impressive but unappreciated. I would advise anyone considering this company to get specifices over the phone about the accuracy of actual savings they advertise. "Bait and Switch" in their home service estimate has not won me over as a fan.
