Salesman said 4 days, installer said all week. Counting the day it took to make the house "livable" the job took 6 days. Then had to wait a week for the installer to get my message that I has a problem.Do not oay to have the furniture moved and put back. The install does not dust, so you have to mover everything again anyway. Be prepared to wipe down walls and everything. The installer set his saws up in the garage, which was fine, but then he left the connecting door open so all the dust went back into the house. Also, I am still trying to remover dirty footprints from the days it rained while he worked. Carpet One states that "no one in the city seals grout". Of course, they don't tell you that untiil the installer says it will be an extra $1 a foot. I could go on and on, but let's just say I will not use Carpet One again, and will tell everyone I know not to as well.

Carpet installation was fine, but this was the worst tile job we have ever seen. The grout color was uneven and they tried to "fix" it by layering more grout on top, which looked unprofessional and the grout came up over the tile. The manager would not meet with us face to face...so we had to "surprise" visit to talk to him in person and take in pictures. (not a professional or friendly guy) We finally settled on a price for us to hire a new contractor to come out and totally regrout. We had always been loyal Carpet One customers, but we have not been back since 2005. It was a very stressful experience.

This company does not know how to install ceramic tile. It took them 3x as long to finish the job (because they didn't know what they were doing). They left epoxy grout on the tile & told me it was my problem to clean that off. This required professional tile cleaner & cost me an additional $350.00. (This was finally paid by Carpet One but only after the Better Business Bureau was called in to help.) The owner of the store would hang up on me when I called to complain but not before insulting me first. The final result is a floor with gaps where the tile meets the wall. The grout is lumpy & uneven & has discolored very fast. The suggested epoxy grout that was twice the cost of regular grout because "it will not change color or stain'. Well, I've had the ground cleaned & painted twice & the floor is only 1 year old. It was a very unpleasant experience from start to finish!

The installers, last name Miller are awesome! They were polite, did a beautiful job, were very careful with the baseboard, etc! Excellent experience.

Installed new ceramic tile flooring in our kitchen and laundry room. They were able to install over the old flooring which saved on the cost and mess. Bill and another installer were very good with the installation, although it took them a week to get the job completely done. A couple days they only worked a few hours, then left, which is aggravating! Other than that, they did a nice job of cutting and installing the tile.

We had to have them come back to do some work. The man said he did as good a job as he could do the first time, but they did come back and fix the kitchen flooring. The carpet was installed great.
