Brian's Painting

I had an appointment for Brian to give me a quote. He didn’t show up. When I called him he told me he had forgotten about the appointment and would be there in 20 minutes. He then texted me this message copied and pasted below! This is Brianspainting.. I will have to pass on your project .. I'm booked up until end of September. Sorry.

Brian was responsive, prompt, and an excellent painter! Absolutely are planning to use Brian again!

Brian sent a crew to first power wash the house. My wife arrived at home to find water inside dripping down the windows and and the floors. I contacted Brian to told him they need to stop and see what is happening (I was out of town so my wife had to deal with the mess and crew) (Brian never did show up after this incident although he continued to text me that he would be there tomorrow....) Brian's immediate reaction was I had a window issue and he has done this many times and never had this issue. His crew were inches from the house with a power washer ( you can see in one of the close up pictures that they damage some wood trim from being so close) I contacted a window company and they looked at the windows found not signs of past leaks or damage and did not feel that much water got into the walls and there would be not issue. However they did say that it was the close power washing that caused the water to push through small crack and into the house and that they should not use the high pressure around the windows. I passed this along to Brian but he continues to insist I have bad windows. If he would have shown up as he promised he could have heard this from the window company but he failed to show up or call me to say he would not show up, this after he text me "I will be there in the morning". He claims I was setting him up for an insurance claim. I did call my insurance company to see if there was an issue if it was covered and what I should do. I had the issue looked at and determined it was not a big issue and no claim was submitted. I was information gathering as I'm sure most home owners would do when you get a call from your wife that we have water coming in the windows! After that I attempted to contact Brian and get him to come out and discuss and get this project going as he had powered washed about 40% of the house and it looks like crap and needs finished. Brian would not respond to texts and then claimed he left his phone at home. He finally text me that with weather he is about two weeks behind but weather permitting might be out next week. Half way into the next week I text him to get an idea of when he would be out. No response.... So I send an email asking the same. His response is your deposit is in the mail I took a job in Canada and can't get to your house until July! I had high hopes as he did do a good job on the interior painting he did. But I guess if I would have looked deeper into his reviews I would have seen other reviews with issues of failure to respond and seen this coming.

Great, on time was concerned the trim color did not match and asked me to look. His eye was spot on and he went and purchased the proper color on his time and dime to make sure we were 100% happy! He did a great job patching and skim coating a few rough areas.

Brian is very good at his job. On time. Finished when he said he would.

Brian did a good job and easy to work with. Would hire again with no hesitation.

Brian and his staff were very efficient and worked non-stop until they had completed the job. He even helped my wife make a better decision on trim color. The job looks great

Painted front entry, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, stairwell with loft, three bathrooms and four bedrooms

They actually did my brother's great room and kitchen before we decided to give them a try. They were very punctual and professional. I was pleasantly surprised when I came home from work the first day expecting only the prep work to be done, to find the first coat on the walls. They were very good about going back over areas that I wanted touched up. We will recommnd him to our friends and will use him again!!!

Very refreshing vendor to deal with. Adjusted his schedule as best he could to meet our demands to have our new construction painted prior to Thanksgiving. I would not only HIGHLY recommend Brian; but, I've no doubt I'd use again. Inspiring to see that customer service and quality of work can still work hand in hand. Thanks Brian!

Brian was extremely courteous, professional, responsible, and efficient. I received a call from him just a few hours after I left him a message, and he came to our house within the next few days to give a quote. We found his quote fair and reasonable. Brian was able to squeeze us into his schedule to get our exterior painted before the winter months set in. In fact, he had a break in his schedule and came to do our job earlier than anticipated; for that, we were very grateful. Brian and his team were professional, courteous, and unobtrusive. I felt completely comfortable having them in the house while I was away. Brian went out of his way to make sure the job was done right, and he also gave us lots of advice and tips for a few DIY painting projects we were about to tackle. His responsiveness far exceeded that of any other contractor we have worked with in the past. He communicated promptly via text, email, and phone call. We always knew when he was going to show up, and he kept us appraised of the progress of the projects. I would recommend Brian without hesitation.

On the work Brian did - it was fantastic. He was punctual and efficient. The work was great. He is personally engaging. The fact that he said he wanted to do the exterior stain - and then did not follow up after calling him a couple of times was frustrating. Even if he had contacted to me to let me know he was no longer interested, that would have been helpful. Then I could have started making other arrangements sooner.

He contacted me back promptly, and started and finished the job on schedule and on budget. I will be using him again on other projects in the future. Thanks you, Brian for a job well done.

Brain, was very professional & responsive from my very first contact with him throughout the entire job. Came out & gave me an accurate, reasonable estimate along with time frame & how it would be done. I have a large great room & bedroom with vaulted popcorn ceilings. I was concerned for them to even try to be painted as I have heard it could be a real mess with the popcorn finish falling all off and was told by others to just remove the popcorn which I could not afford to have done at this time. Brian came out & did the job without any problems that I could see. The ceilings look great. He completed the job in less time that I expected & I'll be sure to call him again for any other paint jobs I may have, as well as recommend him to my friends & family.

I highly recommend using Brian's Painting for any painting services you need in your home. Unsure of the colors to use, Brian and his wife brought over color samples and helped pick colors that would work well with the rest of our home. I am so happy with his work and absolutely love, love, love, the colors we chose. What was nice about using Brian's Painting was that after deciding the colors he went and purchased the paint. He also moved furniture and brought material to cover couches and floor. We look forward to using him in the near future for other painting we would like to have done.

Brian just completed painting all the walls and baseboards in our home. He did an amazing job. He addressed all of our concerns. His workmanship was impeccable. He was very considerate with his timeline and made sure he was not inconveniencing us in any way. I highly recommend him. We were pleased with Brian's efficiency. After the call, he was promptly out with an estimate. Accepting the estimate, he was able to schedule us for Wed the following week. The job took slightly longer than anticipated to complete (day and a half), but Brian was thorough and the work was well done. Recommended!

This painter is FANTASTIC!!! He called me back quickly after I called to get a price, he was able to meet with me later that day. He showed up to pressure wash the deck when he said he would. Brian also removed the patio furniture and cleared the weeds around the deck so he could stain it. He quoted a price for 2 coats of stain, when he realized this deck would be better with 3 coats he left it up to me if I wanted to pay more (wow, who does that anymore!). The price he quoted was also for 3 new boards that needed replace because of wood rot, he actually ended up replacing 6 and didn't charge extra! I would definitely use Brian's Painting again.

Brian was very professional and returned my phone call the same day. He came to my house two days later and gave me an estimate in person. The following day he came and painted my front door inside and out. He paid great attention to detail and made sure I was happy with his work. I will be using him in the future for sure.

My husband and I are extremely satisfied on the painting job that we hired Brian on. I was nervous at the beginning of our search for someone to paint our house because we had never had this done before and it seemed like a big job being wood siding. Brian's pricing was very fair and he was very personable. He was not pushy at all like others I've come across when doing an estimate. He had great communication throughout the entire process. He was very detailed from the beginning to the end and we knew exactly what the plan was, how long it would take and what each step he was on, and what his plan was for the upcoming step. I had picked out colors that I wanted to use, I was a little unsure of the hue of it, but he made me feel very confident in my choice and assured me that the colors I chose would look excellent on my home. He was always there if I had a question or concern about any steps on the process. After he was finished, I couldn't believe this was my house and how beautiful and different in looked in a great way of course. I continue to get compliments from my neighbors, friends and family on how great it looks. I can't thank him enough for the great job he did and know that my husband and I made the best decision having him paint our home.

I was very impressed with Brian's professionalism from the start. When he came to give me a quote the first thing he did was give me his business card and insurance information. He was on time and went right to work. I'm happy with my new look. One thing I should have done was mark where all the nail holes were that I wanted filled in. I would use Brian again!
