Blind Shine

Our blinds were very dirty and had not been washed in many years. David parked his trailer with his equipment in front of our house. Set up took about half and hour and he used our exterior hose as a water source. He removed all the blinds, being careful to mark them so they would go back up in the same window. Cleaning took about 2 hours. He hung them to dry in his trailer; there were just a few drops still on them when they were re-hung, so he advised us to leave them down and open until they were thoroughly dry. He told us that sometimes, especially with blinds from the kitchen, that the deposits on them might have degraded the paint so that when they were cleaned the paint might come off. This happened on one blind in our case. Once that occurred he was careful to wash them manually first and use the ultrasonic process for as short a time as necessary. We were amazed at how clean and shiny the blinds came out. Even the cords are spotless! Because of the cost, this is not a process that we will do frequently, but the results were excellent and I don't expect that we will need to repeat the cleaning for several years.
