BEST BLINDS

Had a new house built and needed window coverings for 2 single windows, 3 double, and 1 double with transoms. I confess I did no shopping around, just did a bit of research and best blinds was the only place I was going to call. I received an appointment for about 10 days out. Michelle arrived on time. My criteria was I didn't want to spend and arm and a leg and I wanted easy to clean. With Michelle's help we managed to choose blinds for all the windows, she measured and the entire appointment was maybe 1 hour 45 minutes. We chose faux wood for most and the honeycomb top down bottom up shades for the master bedrooms. Received quote the following day ( they offer a discount for check or cash) and I accepted and sent them 50% as a deposit. I think it was about 2 1/2 weeks later they called and set up an appointment for today to install. Jeff arrived when he was scheduled and made quick work of getting everything installed. He then walked me through the steps on how the blinds operate and how to clean which is easy! The blinds are guaranteed forever against fading and the cords carry a 5 year warranty. I actually dealt with 3 different people from this company and all were wonderful. I also feel if I ever need support they will be there to help. Oh and by the way the blinds look wonderful!

We have long wanted to add cellular shades for increased insulation, comfort, and privacy. We live in a cozy, circa 1890 Victorian home with alot of period features, however, so we're particular about what we put in it in the way of decor. Best Blinds carries a wide variety of models from several manufacturers, and they come to you with complete samples of actual material for all of these, so we could see exactly how a specific product would look in each room. Amy and Tami were very patient with us as we worked our way through myriad samples, and they helped us select the best performing models with the best color/style matches to the individual rooms where we wanted shades. We ended up choosing a variety of styles from multiple manufacturers. Once we decided on the models and styles, the rest was easy. It took about 2-3 weeks for Best Blinds to receive our order from the different manufacturers. Jeff arrived at the appointed date and time and installed the shades easily and professionally. After having the shades for almost 6 months, we can say that we are thoroughly satisfied. Everything looks great and continues to operate perfectly. Moreover, they perform as advertised: the shades were a timely addition during a colder-than-normal winter and definitely made a noticeable difference in comfort, and they also work well blocking the afternoon sun on warm days.

Satisfactory or above expectations.

The pleated shades and the blinds were delivered as promised and Jeff installed them quickly. One shade out of 8 was too big, but Jeff installed it so I would have the privacy while waiting for the replacement. We had 20 windows covered in all with blinds and pleated shades.. Since then I've had two minor problems and Jeff took care of both of them in short order. I meant to do this report at the original time but it slipped my mind until I came back to Angie's list for other referrals. Jeff was recently back to do the minor repairs so that has jogged my memory. This is a down-to- earth couple who succeed by giving good value and good service in a cheerful way.

He kept in touch to let us know how long it would take. Great service overall.

I have nothing but good things to say about Tami and Jeff. Tami came out to the house and went over the options with us and Jeff installed all of the blinds. The valence on one of the blinds was kind of dinged up. Before I even noticed it, Jeff brought it to my attention and said he would order a new one. We are very happy with the service and the blinds.

Tami and her husband, Jeff, who installed the blinds were very professional and wonderful to work with. Their prices were extremely reasonable!
