Octavious was very professional and knowledgeable and we felt confident that he would be able to complete the job. He helped us create a list of items to buy that they would need to complete the work and was available when I had clarification questions when trying to find the items on the list. He gave us a timeline of 1-2 weeks but it wound up taking 5 weeks. He and his team did a good job completing the electrical work, however there are several places in the house that were damaged when they were working and no one would accept responsibility or even acknowledge that it happened even though they were the only people working in the house at the time. The day they installed lights in the master bathroom we found a 6" long scratch or gouge in the sheetrock and a dent in the wood surrounding the door that was consistent with a ladder (or large object) hitting the wall and sliding down. When they moved the oven in from the garage and installed it, there were several dents in the wood surrounding the door from the garage and there was also a deep dent in the hardwood floors where it looked like a corner of the stove had fallen or was dropped. There was a dent in the hardwood floors underneath where the ceiling fan was installed in the living room. We liked Octavious so much that it probably wouldn't have mattered, but it bothered me that no one would even acknowledge that it occurred.

Octavious handled all communication very professionally both before and after installation of our 20kw generator and transfer switches. He gave us several generator options to chose from. All work was done to a very high standard, everything looks and performs perfectly. When work was complete the site was restored to previous condition. Overall a great experience having Benjamin Franklin Electric install our generator. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

BFE has done work for us in the past. They are always prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We have been very happy with their work. We will use them again when needed.

The installer came to discuss installation; and we were impressed with his knowledge (when he came to discuss placement, hook-ups, etc.) and his work (when he did the actual installation). If we need an electrician in the future, we will definitely call Benjamin Franklin Electric to consider our project.

BFE was called in to redo a botched job. I learn from BFE and several other electricians I consulted, that a job of this magnitude, and really any job with a lot of electrical changes should be made by a master electrician (the owner of BFE is a master electrician). I learned you have to check with your local building department to see if an individual is licensed (instead of taking their word) and if a permit and inspection is required. I also learned my insurance company could have canceled the homeowners policy if the changes which were made to my home were not properly made and inspected. I did not hire BFE to redo the work, but I did check up on them from local sources and received good reports. I found BFE to be honest and forthcoming in their assessment of my problem and what steps had to be taken to correct the situation. I now feel comfortable that all has been taken care of properly. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Electric and would use them for several projects in one of our other buildings.
