Description of Work: I referred American City Plumbing to a client of mine. The client was very pleased with the service. They were prompt, neat and price was fair. I will use or refer them again.

Description of Work: Sump pump failed and basement flooded. American City came out very quickly and got the pump working, drained the basement with it then discovered the cause. Sump pump was replaced and later a water to water back up was installed. We had low water pressure in the entire house and a curious excessive amount of water being pumped out by new sump pump. We were encouraged to buy a water pressure booster to help with our low water pressure. It worked like a charm but was not the root cause of the low water pressure. Our HSA policy had us use a different plumber who discovered that the basement bathroom's roughed in lines were leaking into the subtiles. Once those were rerouted not only did our water bill decrease significantly but we did not need the booster at all. We were told to play with the valves to the booster by ACP to lower the now too high water pressure to no avail.

Description of Work: Took a broom and swept up the mess into a pile, removed a portion of the bottom shelf on a built-in work bench to expose the floor drain. Looked to make sure no cracks or other holes were contributing to the problem.
