Mark arrived on time and quickly diagnosed problem and completed repaired. Very professional and wore mask at all times. Price was very reasonable. I will hire A-1 Mark's Appliance for my future appliance repair needs.

Great. He diagnosed the freezer problem and fixed it. It's now running great. The range glass replacement makes it like new.

It went okay. They had a service guy come out and tell me what I already knew what was wrong with my washer. He was there not even 5mins and charged me 80 for the service call. He didn't have the part on his truck so he said someone would be back. Maybe two hours later another guy came and completed the work, he was much more friendly and professional.

It went well. It didn't take very long. I have a washer again, good service. The service call was $65.00 and the actuator was $60.00.

Things couldn't have gone any better. I called the office to arrange an appointment and Mark promptly returned my call. He was able to diagnose the problem with the dryer (broken motor) on the telephone, even though I didn't describe it very well. My dryer is an older model, so Mark doesn't stock the motor for my dryer. He went ahead and ordered the motor in advance so he would have it on hand when he came out -- and so i wouldn't have to wait to get the dryer repaired while the part was ordered. Then, he gave me an estimate of the charges and we arranged a time for the appointment. A little while later, he called back to say he got a better price on the motor than he expected, and passed the savings on to me! Mark arrived at the appointed time and quickly completed the repairs. It turned out the motor had failed on the dryer, just as he had thought. While he had the dryer apart, he checked everything else out. He told me on the phone that it might also be necessary to replace the blower and belt. However, he reported those parts were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. When he was finished, he cleaned everything up and was on his way. This was a fantastic experience. Mark was prompt and professional and proved himself to be an honest businessman. He took the risk of ordering the motor in advance so there would not be a delay in getting the dryer repaired. The repair was completed in less time than I anticipated and the dryer is now working like a dream! If you need any appliance repaired, Mark is your man! It's nice to know there are still reputable businesses around that truly are focused on providing excellent customer service!

It went terribly We were nervous about installing our (expensive) front loader after moving here. The service guy was called but apparently didn't balance the front legs, just the back, and so my giant machine wobbled across the basement and stopped working, leaving me a huge pile of wet clothes in the process. When I called, the guy was totally unsympathetic and said "it was working when I left," or something like that. He had started a cycle, but it only got out of control when it hit spin. Anyway, he wasn't going to come fix it, so I told him that was terrible customer service, and he hung up on me. Classy! At any rate, turns out it wasn't even a complicated thing to do. We got it fixed easily, but that was $80 down the drain. I would NEVER call this place again.

The service was excellent, as was the cost. Mark was friendly and professional. This work only took about 15 minutes. I will use this service provider again. Very happy.

The guy that came to fix the fridge that came was friendly,early and he was here for amount of 10 to 20 minutes.

It went great. He fixed it free of charge since he performed repairs on this washing machine just roughly a month prior.

When we made contact with A-1, Bruce was quick to say what he thought might be the problem and give an estimate over the phone. He had the appropriate parts to repair each time and explained the reason for an additional part that needed replaced on the washing machine. My husband and I are very impressed with A-1's promptness and finished work. We have Bruce on our list to call for any future appliance repairs!

We purchased an electric stove from Mark's Appliances that came with a 90 day warranty. We were happy with our purchase and felt we got a very good value for the money. Unfortunately, as sometimes happens with used appliances, there was a failure a few weeks later, and the repair would have cost more than the oven was worth. Mark's crew brought me a beautiful replacement the day after the service call on the original one. This company provided me a valuable product with a solid warranty and when it came time to utilize the warranty, went above and beyond to continue to make us happy. I would recommend to anyone in the Fort Wayne area to call Mark's for service, or to buy a used appliance.

Called to set-up an appointment with Mark. He got back with me almost immediately and scheduled the initial service call for the next day. Mark was on time as scheduled for the appointment, even calling to let me know he was on his way. Within minutes Mark diagnosed the problem which required parts to be ordered. There was no charge for the service call with only a diagnosis being made. Mark ordered the parts for next day delivery and set-up the appointment to repair our refrigerator the following morning. Again Mark was on time, calling ahead to let me know he was coming. Mark made the repair quickly, even working through a parts issue with what he had received from the vendor. The total was actually less than I expected - a very pleasant surprise. Mark was professional and courteous at all times. I liked the fact that he made sure to tell me the work was guaranteed for one year and to call him if there was an unforeseen issue with the repair. Very happy customer.

Quick diagnosis and replacement. Very pleased. Seemed like a lot of money but probably not more than any other repair person would charge.

Initially, A-1 thought my fridge was having problems with the computer board, so they replaced that with the explanation that something else might be going on. When the temp did not drop in our fridge, they came back out (at no additional charge), refunded the cost of the computer board, replaced the old one that wasn't broken, and discovered the defrost heater was not working. They corrected everything and only charged us for coming out once and replacing the defrost heater. We were very happy with the honesty and integrity of A-1 Mark's Appliance Repair and will be using them for future appliance repairs.

Fixed ice and water maker in refrigerator and drum on washing machine. Did a great job. No further problems.

Mark was very good, he explained the problem. I felt the price was high but that was due to the parts expense. Replacement parts are ridiculous! The labor was fair.

had error code on my whirlpool range which could've been latch or latch sensor in circuit board - unfortunately it wasn't the latch and the circuit board was very expensive and difficult to obtain as range was older. I was able to purchase a reconditioned one through the store for the same price as the repair. Bruce, the technician was very helpful. He came as promised, called to confirm when we could meet. Also called 3 family members when each one was available to be able to smoothly arrange service and installation. Service call charge was applied to the new appliance.

Repairman was fast and efficient. We've had no more problems.

First, Mark worked me into his very busy day because I had to work the next four days straight. When he arrived, he took one look at the front loader washing machine and tells me that 99% of the time, it's the door lock. He went out to his vehicle, got a replacement door lock and installed it in just minutes. That fixed the problem. I have been strung out forever by other providers and given unneeded parts over a period of weeks. Mark was here and gone, it worked, end of story. I will be using Mark forever now that I've found a knowledgeable, speedy, honest repair person. I hate to write this glowing review because if he gets too busy, I may not get him back again so quickly when I need him. Great job, Mark. I'm not easy to please but you were fantastic! Thanks so much for all your consideration of my work situation.

I'm extremely happy with the repair of my dryer, and will not hesitate to use A-1 Mark's Appliance again. The price was fair, the response time and punctuality were very good. A wonderful experience overall.

We contacted A-1 in the morning about our refrigerator that was not cooling. The diagnosed two possible problems and gave us a 3-5 appointment window. The technician arrived at 4:45 and had the refrigerator running in 5 minutes. He explained the problem and told me the cost of the part before replacing. The tech was very professional and yet friendly. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who has appliance issues.
