Tom Dreyer Tree Man

I haven't seen or heard from him since Tuesday evening. He has cashed both checks and his voicemail is now full. I am very dissatisfied.

He was easy to get a hold of and he was courteous. It was a good value with the lowest priced bid for the job. He did a good job with it.

I would give this company a B+. As I have learned with nearly any service company like this, there always seems to be some type of miscommunication, break down, excuse or "reason" for some service not to happen accordingly or on time. There was the holiday (totally understandable), truck break down, time constraints, etc. All that being said, the actual guy who took the tree down was amazing. He truly knew what he was doing and did it beautifully in brutal heat. I am guessing the young man I did business with was not the actual owner (never met Tom) - perhaps his son. He did keep me apprised of the issues, but he did end up running more than a week later than he had said. Ultimately, it wasn't a big deal and I think he ended up bringing "subs" to do the job. They got a nearly 50' tree down in less than an hour and cleaned up. Did exactly what we asked. Because it was so hot, we added a nice tip, which wasn't acknowledged. Regardless, I would use them again because the actual service performed was excellent with a reasonable price.

Our Home Owners association required us to cut low hanging limbs over the sidewalk. We contacted 4 Angies List contractors for quote. Tom Dreyer Tree Man responded the same day and did the work two days later. They cleaned up the debris and hauled it away. It was a very good job. We intend to have them back in the fall to do additional trees.

I was very pleased with his service. He was there when he said he would be and the cleanup was great.

They were very responsive to doing some more when I inspected their work. They finished the work on the same day and cleaned up well. I recommend them highly.

The experience was good. They were very professional. They cut and shaped the trees up really nice, cleaned up everything well, and hauled it all away. I was very satisfied with it. My husband had just passed away and I actually canceled my appointment with them because they were going to come on the day my husband passed away. They rescheduled and came 2 weeks later and did the job. While they were here, a friend of mine stopped by to see me and she needed work done. She is older than I am. She wasn't really happy with them only because she said they didn't come when they were supposed to. For myself, I knew they would show up, and at that time I just didn't care about anything. I paid a little bit more than $100.00 for each tree. I think the price was good.

They were not terrible or outstanding. They were professional, showed up when they said they would and gave me an estimate.

I have mixed feelings about him. He did a good job except I had six trees and he said I had seven trees. There were two trees coming out of one base and he called it two trees and I called it one tree. I should have been more specific in my declaration of exactly what I wanted done. I think he should have known and I think he played games with me. He did a good job and he is a nice guy to work with, but he charged me an extra $175 to cut down that tree and I was critical of that. I think the original price was $575. The initial price was very good and it was the best price. That is why I selected him. After the additional charge, I am not as pleased. I had to require him to put everything in writing; he did everything orally originally. I would make sure that we had an agreement if I used him in the future.

Tom Dreyer quoted me the price on 9/29/09 and said his crew would be there on 9/30/09 to do the work. He and his crew arrived when he said they would and completed the job in a timely manner.

He was excellent. We've already called him for other tree work. He even sent us a thank you note. I would highly recommend him to others.

Hired to trim trees and shrubs in my yard. Did exactly what was asked and did it when he said he would for the $$'s agreed to. Cost was extremely competitive compared to some of the big "name" companies. Clean up was excellent leaving my yard as he found it.

Story as above. All was done quickly, effivciently and clean-up was superior.

Tom promptly gave us a quote for the work. Once arranged, he arrived as scheduled to remove the tree and cleaned up all the trimmings. He put us in contact with someone to grind down the stump. Once that was done, the area looks great.

Tom and his crew did an excellent job. They were quick, thorough, took extra care to make sure everything looked neat and cleaned up and he even offered to clean up the debris left behind by the stump service company. Overall, we were very satisfied with Tom and his crew and would definitely use them again.

He showed up right at noon like he said - gave me an estimate on the spot and cmopleted the work within 48 hours. just perfect.

It was a great experience. He cut everything down and completely cleaned everything and hauled it away. We couldn't even tell there had been a tree there. He did recommend someone for me to call to grind up the stump.

Tom was punctual, honest about the price and did a nice job of clean up. He was careful about the property. I would definitely call him again.

Wow! Great! We called to schedule & he came out the same day with the paperwork. The next day, the crew arrived on time(actually, a few minutes early)and got right to work. Despite having his chipper decide not to work that day, which I presume added work and time to the job, Tom and his crew did a great job. The only unexpected and unfortunate event was that our elderly neighbor tried to walk through the downed branches and fell. Tom and his crew were so kind and caring to her-helped her and strongly encouraged her to get medical attention, despite her protests. Tom called two days later to see how she was doing. We're very impressed!

Tom worked extremely hard at connecting with us in order to communicate potential times and solutions for binding our bush together so the Winter winds would not do any damage.

It went great. Tom had the best price. He cleaned up well and didn't leave any tracks in the yard, etc., he was very careful to move a smaller tree out of the way to ensure it didn't get hurt and replanted it when done. I would definitely use him again.

We had a bad storm and we started to panic because we had a tree down on a neighbors car. So his son came out and gave us an estimate on the work. Later that afternoon they arrived to do the work and Tom Dreyer said he couldn't do the work for the price his son quoted because it was not enough. We didn't let him take the trees down because of the outrageous price but he did take the tree away.

His work is wonderful and his prices are reasonable. He does not butcher the trees. I have used him twice in the past and am looking forward to using him again in the future.
