Bryon was a little late getting there, but he called ahead to let us know he had been delayed. He got right to work, inviting me to follow along & ask any questions I had along the way. He even invited me to climb the ladder to see the furnace, which is in the attic.

We hired Talon to do a home inspection/termite inspection for a home we are working to purchase. They gave us quick responses, a great price, and were able to get us in quickly. The inspection was scheduled for 9 but Bryan arrived early to do a preliminary inspection before we arrived. Once we got there he explained how the process would work and what he would be checking. He then walked us through the home and gave us a detailed explanations of everything he was inspecting , why he was inspecting it, any current issues, as well as possible issues that could arise in the future. He was extremely knowledgeable and even gave us great advice for the home that had nothing to do with the inspection. I highly recommend hiring Talon.

Very pleased overall with the inspection and the professionalism. I received the report just a few hours after it was completed. They pointed out a few things and the builder quickly fixed and explained. They did, however, charge a fee for using a credit card. While I am not a fan on these fees, the company was very upfront. Just be sure to bring a check book with you and you'll be fine. Bryan and his co worker both did a great job. They were on time and professional. I would highly highly recommend being at the inspection as they were there to point out issues and answer all my questions. I had a list of concerns that they gladly went over. As I stated above, the turn around time is great. While I don't plan on moving again for some time, I will gladly recommend this company to others. True professionals that take pride in their work.

My husband wanted to waive the inspection initially, but he's very glad we didn't now! Cory was at the house and had already started looking around when we arrived. He was very professional and thorough with his inspection. Although the house is in great structural condition, he did find a few things that would have been very costly to remedy aside from general maintenance (drainage and electrical issues). Their prices are very competitive and we couldn't have asked for more! Thanks!

The inspector that we worked with was a really nice guy. He gave us some tips and tricks doing our own things in the house to maintain it. Overall experience went very well. Their price seemed to be in line with everybody else. The guy was nice. We booked them on short notice.

Bryan went above and beyond on this inspection. He was thorough, patient and a wealth of information. He took time to answer all of our questions. Plus he explained things we did not even know to question.

Bryan came out on short notice and did a great job. He picked up some major safety and mechanical issues in an older home (1870) that needed to be addressed. He was instructive throughout the process and provided a very rapid turn-around for the final report. His report helped us to easily configure an inspection response to the sellers and all major repairs were completed. We would highly recommend and utilize Talon for future home inspections.

Overall, we had an excellent experience with Talon. Do be sure to check out several inspection companies. we are glad we did, and we picked one that offered a good value. Do take paper and a pencil with you when you attend your house inspection. You may want to note down information that does not necessarily belong in the inspection report.

Bryan was right on time and was very thorough in all phases of the inspection. All my questions were answered. Great job at a very good price. I had the full report in my email later the same day.

Talon provided a cost estimate ahead of time and stuck to that estimate. Bryan was prompt and efficient. And, he was educational. He answered every question we had regarding the potential new home we were having inspected and told us about good maintenance practices. In addition, he was available to talk to contractors after the fact as we worked through the inspection results and remediation. He volunteered to retest the radon when the level was high which is consistent with EPA guidelines. And, he identify potential future issues based on experience with circuit breaker boxes.

First let me say this, if you are purchasing a home you need to have it inspected. Second, you have to have inspected by someone who is qualified, professional and highly ethical, Bryan Tubbs is that person. I have worked with Bryan before when I first moved to Indiana and was impressed with his candid honest remarks and depth of knowledge about the building industry, codes and potential pitfalls of bad or improper construction. We almost made a mistake onthe first house we made an offer on but Bryan saved us from making a mistake. This time we had the same thing occur, we found a house we liked in an area we wanted. The house was only 10 or 12 years old so we assumed that the construction was solid and that there would be few if any problems. Thank goodness Bryan was my inspector, the house had so many hidden problems that we may have purchased a money pit and been responsible for literally tens of thousands of dollars in repairs. Bryan, saved us again and this is the main reason I cannot give him anything but an exemplary recommendation. If you are buying a house, any house, make sure someone like Bryan does the inspection, period. You need to have an advocate on your team to make sure you do not get taken and your investment is put in jeopardy. I find Bryan to be of the highest integrity, he is there to protect you , the buyer, and he does this very well and without trepidation. Buyer beware in this market but if you have Talon and Bryan on your side you will know what it is you are buying and what the issues may be. This is the kind of knowledge we should have an d deserve, I highly recommend Talon and Bryan and hope when you purchase a home you will use his expertise to protect you from harm.

We are putting our home on the market in 2 weeks and wanted no surprises come up when a potential buyer provides us with an offer and has their own home inspection. Bryan Tubbs came out and provided us with a full house inspection. He was prompt, thorough and professional. His report breaks items into 3 categories: Major Repairs, General Repairs, Items to Monitor, and Maintenance/Improvements. We are currently addressing the Major Repairs section and some of the suggested General Repairs based upon our realtor's recommendations. He was at our house from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and was able to get our inspection report the same day and our water report emailed to me the next day. He came highly recommended from our remodeler and we also highly recommend Bryan. When he came upon a major repair, he pointed it out to us. He took clear photographs and provided a thorough description that referenced the photo. If you want a thorough and precise home inspection, Bryan is the inspector you want to hire.

We used Talon Property to inspect a house that we were wanting to buy. Scheduling was very quick and Bryan was on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable about everything. I have worked in the construction industry for almost 15 years. I have done everything from managing the construction of new homes with local and national builders, to flipping houses while doing a lot of the remodeling myself. I was actually hesitant to spend the money and hire an inspector to go through any houses that I decided to make an offer on. Fortunaltely, I went ahead and spent the money. I hired Talon Property Inspections LLC. owned by Bryan Tubbs. During his thorough inspection he caught several items that I didn't notice. There were two huge items that would have cost me thousands of dollars. One was an electrical panel that was notorious for catching on fire, and the other was evidence of powder post beetles chewing into the floor joists, along with a fungus growing on some of the floor joists. After further investigation all the bottom plates, as well as, floor joists were either rotted or damaged, affecting the structural integrity of the floor system. I actually decided to walk away from the deal, and was thankful I hired a knowledgeable inspector. I would recommend Talon Propery Inspections to anyone, regardless of their construction background.

I had just put in an accepted offer on a house and didn't even know where to start with an inspection. I called up Talon Property Inspections as a referral from my realtor. Bryan's wife was very nice and was quick to set me up an appointment, it was Friday and the appointment was scheduled for Monday. Bryan was so on time he even beat my mother and I to the house. He introduced himself and was very polite and professional, taking us along so he could explain and show us what he was finding. The attic access in my house is situated 12 or more feet above the stairs, where I never thought anyone would EVER voluntarily go, but Bryan threw his ladder up and went up in there without a problem. My mother was VERY impressed and said that she had never had a home inspector be so thorough when she'd bought her homes. Bryan took pictures as he went along, which were later organized into a very detailed report. This is so helpful now that I'm having contractors and repairmen out to the house, I can not only tell them the problem but it can be easily located thanks to the pictures he organized into the report. The radon testing took two days and I'm so glad we had it done. While my home is not the danger zone yet, it's close and that let me know I need to have the home retested if I ever put it up for sale. Bryan located several major defects in the home that I was able to use to negotiate the price of the house down. If I had paid the price I had offered on the house there was no way I would have had the money to fix it. Not only did Bryan save me from dumping all of my savings into this home, but I now have peace of mind since everything is being fixed. Bryan went above and beyond what I expected from a home inspection. Everyone who I've told about the inspection are impressed that Bryan went so far into detail. If I ever need my current home or another home inspected in the future, or if someone asks for a referral, Bryan is the guy I'm going to call. Thanks Bryan!

As a first time homebuyer, I know very little about houses and home maintenance. Bryan did a great job of explaining everything thoroughly and even gave a lot of advice on things I should do to maintain the house. He got up on the roof, in the attic and the crawlspace. He found a few things that needed to be addressed immediately and a few that should be taken care of soon. I was able to get the sellers to take care of the issues. I have a detailed report of his findings with a lot of pictures. I would use Talon again and would recommend him to anyone.
