Stoeppelwerth & Associates Inc. did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them for for surveying.

I did submit a request for proposal through Angie's List, but did not get a response in a timely manner and we needed it done quickly, so I called them direct. I was immediately forwarded to Bruce Strack, their Director of Surveying. He was courteous and professional and got a written proposal to me by the end of the same day via email. The survey was done in less than a week, and certified drawings followed within a couple of days after that. All questions I had were answered promptly and professionally.

I was very pleased that I chose to go with Stoeppelwerth and Associates for our land survey. We are putting up a fence and it was suggested that we get a boundary survey prior to having fencing companies come out. I am glad we did. Our property lines were a little different than I had anticipated and now we can confidently move forward with installing our fence. The customer service I received from Stoeppelwerth was incredible! I initially did an online request for more information and I expected it to take several days before getting a response. Kelly from Stoeppelwerth reached out almost immediately and inquired about what I was looking for so she could accurately provide me details of their service and cost. Their quote was approximately $100 cheaper and their customer service was 100 times better. Each time I reached out to Kelly, she quickly answered all my questions, worked with me on payment options, and they scheduled the crew to come out within a week. I chose to be home when the crew arrived and I was shocked how quickly they were able to get it all done. Plus, I had multiple questions and they walked around the yard with me to ensure I understood what they did. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a land survey. I was impressed with how quickly everything took place from initial contact to scheduling to getting our final prints of our land.

I requested an estimate through their online system. Craig Stoeppelwerth and I emailed a few times so I could get a quote. He sent me the quote and I sent an email back. I thought I had made it clear that I had accepted his quote and wanted him to do the work but I didn't hear from him for about a week. So, I called and talked to him on the phone. That's when he told me that normally they don't schedule a survey until they have received a check. So, I mailed him a check that day. I think that $500 is high, but that's the lowest quote I received from the 3 that I asked. Overall though, this was the best $500 we spent on our fence. We were alerted that one of our neighbors had already built her fence over the property line. I asked Craig to account for this in our survey. It turned out that BOTH of our neighbors had built over the line. Craig and his crew had to go to the courthouse 3 times to get plats, just to make sure that our survey was correct. One neighbor took her fence down immediately when she saw the stakes in the yard. The other neighbor took a copy of our survey to another surveyor and her attorney. Both of them advised her that she would be wasting her money to have her yard surveyed just to prove us wrong. She was advised to accept our survey and just move her fence. We so appreciate Craig and his crew going out of their way to assure that our survey was correct under these circumstances. This could have turned into a real neighborhood dispute.

The web based form to get the estimate was easy and quick. They responded with an estimate within 24 hrs. We ended up going with another company though

They came when they said they would. They measured everything appropriately and even took photos. I spoke with him and he was very pleasant.

The gentleman that came out to do the survey was very helpful. They did what they said they were going to do, and for the charge. They didn't do a complete survey. They staked it, which is what I asked them to do. They find all of the markers for your property. One of them removed, which was part of my problem. He replaced it. Then he marked anything that was in relation to my property line. The landscaper used the wrong marker to do the landscaping. I had to know about that. I explained my situation to the gentleman, and made sure he understood. He told me what he could give me, and what he couldn't give me. He was as friendly and helpful as he could be.

Even though we had less than ample information for them to work with, Kenneth was willing to search their records to try to determine if they had done the survey. This project basically involved a series of phone calls back and forth. Kenneth was polite, friendly, professional, efficient, and very easy to work with. What impressed me the most after living in Indianapolis for 3 years, was that he did what he told us he would do in a timely manner and got back with us promptly. I would call them again in a heartbeat if we were to need a surveyor.
