Description of Work: Cleaned out tree roots in sewer; installed drain opening in back yard; installed new sewer pipe with liner. Carefully excavated ditch without damaging adjoining porch and refilled hole. Very pleasant and friendly team. Not sure about price as no comparisons made. Definitely recommend roto-rooter. Whole process lasted from June 23 to July 16.

Description of Work: came out for a free estimate of the work needed (paid initial $25 through Angie's list) , but once home they insisted that i wanted me topay an additional $100 for the estimate because they needed to an 8 inch hole in the ceiling to see where the leak is coming from (so much for a free estimate) ....

Description of Work: they could not start the water heater, they gave quotes of ordering a part and installation of a new igniter for $1700 or a new water heater for $2700. They claimed our water heater was 10 years old and out of warrantee but it was only 4 years old. We had someone else come the next day and they had the water heater working within 10 minutes and showed my wife how to light it for $250. The other vendor also confirmed the water heater was only 4 years old and was under warrantee.

Description of Work: It was a while ago, so I'm unsure of the exact date of "service." We paid for the Angie's List deal of $250 of services for $79, because we hoped to have our slow drains routed/rooted. The guy came out, told us we didn't need the service and left. That was not $250 of service for $79 by any measure. We will actually be cancelling our Angie's List subscriptions due to their complicity in this "deal."
