Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I always call them whenever I have a problem at my house or one of my rental properties with plumbing. I can depend on them as they'll get the work done and do it correctly. I will continue to use them in the future.

They were extremely knowledgeable and did everything that the could to handle the unique situation that we had. We would absolutely hire them again when needed.

They were timely and were very efficent. The gentlman kept to the time frame which he said it would take to install it, check it out, and test it. We plan on using them again.

Both times they did a fine job. They got here on time and cleaned well. I would use them again.

We've used Roto Rooter in the past and I think their work was satisfactory. We will continue to use them in the future as needed.

Representative arrived on time but he wasn't physically able to climb on the roof on a one story house with rather gentle sloping roof. He called for backup for assistance. His backup attempted to use the equipment provided by the 1st serviceman without success. The backup then used his own equipment to finish the job. It took three hours to get the job done that should have taken less the one hour.

I called a different company at first who quoted me $259 to snake out a slow-running drain in an upstairs batchtub- not clogged, just slow-running. He said I could have it done a lot cheaper, even with a coupon for his company for $50 off ($209 it would have cost me) by comapnies like Roto-Rooter, who specialized in drain cleaning. Ok, I call Roto-Rooter, they show up an hour later and quote me $215 for the same thing! By that time I wanted it done, so I paid it (got a senior discount which helped- $198). But what a racket!!! He was in the house not even 30 minutes!!!. I read a lot of reviews on drain cleaning on Angie's List, and didn't see where anyone was paying that kind of money for one drain to be cleaned. Talk about taken to the cleaners...

It was not a good experience at all.

It went well. I showed him my original receipt and 6 yr warranty from 2004 and he diagnosed the problem. He got me another water heater with another 6 yr. warranty. He was very fast in replacing it and very courteous.

They were very professional and fair. We would recommend them.

What a day for a clogged drain. Below zero temperatures and a two hour school delay. The main drain from the house decided that today would be a good day to be clogged. Water backed up in the house. I called Roto Rooter first thing this morning and Tanya, the helpful receptionist, said she would send a technician over right away. It was time for my son to go to the bus stop. Since it was so cold I didn't want him to wait in the cold. I called Roto Rooter, talked to Tanya again and she transferred me to the dispatcher. The dispatcher called the technician to tell him I would be at the bus stop and that he should wait for me to get home. The technician ran back and forth between my house and the car to talk with me about the problem and give me the estimate. The bus was 40 minutes late. William, the technician, was as nice as he could be. I was so appreciative of a company that understood the situation and didn't charge any extra for waiting on me. Everyone was great and I would recommend William without a doubt.

They are prompt, responsive, professional, reasonably priced and we have always been pleased with them.

Their service was great. He was helpful, he explained what he was doing, he had a good attitude about it, he was open and friendly.

My tenant had sewage backing up in her tub on a Sunday afternoon. I called Roto-Rooter and a plumber was there within an hour. But there was no clean-out value so he had to call another truck with more equipment to access the blockage thru the vent in the roof. The final bill including a Angie's List discount and a weekend surcharge was over $500! In conclusion the service was fine but way too pricey.

In October the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon route went down my street. Apparently this company decided that since there would be a lot of foot traffic in my area they would randomly place sings in peoples yard without asking. When I awoke the morning of the race there was a sign in my front yard proclaiming "Another great job by Roto-Rooter". I have never used this company's services, and now because of their questionable marketing tactics, I never will.

He came promptly and took care of our problem. We called three other companies before we could get someone to come out. Some of the other drains got kind of slow so we requested that someone come back and take a look at them, which they did not charge us for.

They were prompt. The work was done quickly. They were pleasant.

I am happy with the service. He called before he came to make sure I would be here. He came when he said he was going to come. I mentioned that I had a granddaughter that had difficulty turning the water on and off so he switched it out with something easier. He was very pleasant. Of course I will use this service again.

I would not say it was an outstanding experience, but it was certainly acceptable. He was prompt, courteous, and clean. The service was good, not outstanding, but adequate.

They came right out as promised. They ran cameras through the lines and confirmed that there was no blockage. They got on the roof and checked out my vents and checked and inspected everything that they could while they were out. They gave me all of the options and recommended yearly maintenance that I could use to prevent further problems. The secretary and staff that I spoke with have been very nice. I would say however that they are a bit pricey, but they always perform as promised.

Every time they have come out they have done a good job. They have a set price and they send you an email reminder. It is very easy to work with them. I always use them and don't bother to try anyone else.

To begin, we couldn't believe it.... he got to our home in approximately one half hour! We had called other plumbing companies and were told it would be one to two days before they could get to us. We were extremely pleased this company could respond so quickly. You don't want to have to wait days when your plumbing is stopped up! With ceramic tile in the bathroom, we were happy to see that he brought a piece of carpet to set the tool down on, as it could have easily broken the tile. He was able to open the drains completely and everything in the house seems to be draining very quickly.

We could have called another plumbing company sooner if they had just told us it was impossible for them to make the call. We had used them before with no problems but this was just too much.

The experience was very good. Someone came out and talked to us. It was speedy. They did it probably within less than a week. They were very nice people that came and did the work, and they were great.

They were very prompt and professional. They explained everything very clearly to us, it was an emergency situation, they were very easy to work with. I would recommend them to others.
