It worked out really well. I was glad that I had the deal. They were able to come out the same day and clean out a clogged drain.

Ken was great! On time, efficient, and friendly. He explained things clearly and gave us an estimate for another job in the house to boot. He buttoned things up nicely too--tidy! I recommend him. Btw we used an Angie's List coupon and got a nice discount.

The plumber looked at the bathroom faucets and at the faucets that I purchased and then quoted a price way above the big deal I had purchased. I had two other faucets that were exactly the same installed last year at a much lower price - more than $300.00 dollars less. The plumber then spoke to his boss and came back and told me that he could do it for $100 more. I refused and he left.

Very professional, prompt. Cleaned up thoroughly. Explained services well. However, it seems very expensive for the level of work.

I saw their coupon on Angie's List and decided to call them. They sent a tech out to give me an estimate. Once he arrived, we went over the scope of work and he showed me their price list. With the discount provided by the coupon, the total cost was very reasonable. So I agreed on the price and he set to work. He promptly took care of the issues and was done quickly. I would recommend their service to anyone and I'll use them in the future.

The service was just fine. They arrived on time and completed the work. I had no problems when working with them.

They were very expensive for the amount of time they were there.

He worked a clearing the line and found it to be bigger than what he could do, he suggested getting a refund from Angie's List.

About a problem I had with them She was going to fallow up about the extra charge they were going to charge me and why they had it on a big deal. After I pay for the big deal. He call and said he was running last and that was fine. He was very nice and did a amazing job.

Asked Roto Rooter about $79.00 offer, I told them I had two faucets to install, they said they could do it. Plumber came out said the 1st faucet would be $39.00 and the 2nd faucet would be $289.00. I told the plumber that was too much money for the service and I wouldn't authorize him to complete the service and he left my house.

My wife purchased the deal when they told her they would be at the house between 12 and 3 that day. My wife called numerous times and was told every half hour that we were next and someone will be there soon. I called at 6:45 pm and was told it could be as late as 10:00 pm. I cancelled the service and called Angie's List to get my money back. We called a different plumber to correct the issue. If they were up front and honest with the timeframe things would have been different.

They came out and did an estimate and informed me that it would be an additional $289.00 to do the service. I did not end up using them or the deal.

Called RR at 4 AM and they scheduled someone between 10 and noon. I was called at 9:30 and was told they would be at my house within 30 minutes but it was more like 15 minutes. I was impressed at how quickly they could take care of my problem. David was very nice. He told me about their pricing and how the more things you have done while they're there, the lower the price: the first job is $295, the second is $205, the third is $149, fourth is $99 ... etc. But he never tried to push more services on me. I thought it would be less expensive to do those things now than to pay for them separately. He told me his supervisor will call me to make a follow-up appointment (at no extra charge to me). After each job he cleaned up the area, and a little over two hours later he was gone. I gave RR a "B" on price because I wasn't thrilled about having to unexpectedly pay $595!! HOWEVER, I'm happy with what I paid for and I didn't relish the thought of having to spend another 3 hours bailing out my basement again. Or worse! I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter and I would use them again, although I hope it's not for a long time! Thanks David and Roto-Rooter!!! I'm a happy customer!

I suspected that I had a water leak because if an increased utility bill so I purchased a deal from Angie's list for Roto-Rooter to come and check it out. They came out that same day and located the leak. The job was larger than I had hoped but the plumber I worked with said that he would return the next day and repair it which he did. He was on the job alone so it took longer than anticipated but ultimately the job was done and the leak stopped and they were able to work with me on the price a bit.

Started with courteous and efficient phone call with their office. They were able to have someone meet me at my home within an hour of the call. Dusty was the technician who showed up and we walked through my house where he showed me challenges in the fix. He gave me a quote and then he got to work. It was a bit of a challenge due to my home's tricky original pipework, but he persevered and finally got the situation resolved. He was very thorough in his clean up and, the best news, the final invoice was $100 less than the estimate. Dusty went on to explain how I can save more money in the future by using the coupon available here on Angie's list. Roto-Rooter lived up to their reputation and exceeded my expectations. I felt like it was a rip off. They were expensive. The work was all right, it was an easy job. I paid close to 300 Dollars including the big deal price. That is the downside of buying the big deals, they come in here and say they recognize the problem, but give a quote and jack it up.

Patrick cleaned out two drains AND cleaned up after which was wonderful. Everything is fine so far. He advised me I should consider service again in 1-2 years given the age of the systems in the older n'hoods and the tree in the front yard. Despite the fact he is not a cat owner he had a great time with a very nosy cat that insisted on helping out with the job at hand. Many thanks.

I am satisfied .. did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it.

They made us wait the whole morning and gave the estimates very expensive. The person who has arrived doesn't seem to have an idea what has to be done.

We called after we had a major leak after turning on the water for the first time. They sent a plumber within an hour. He stayed for about 2 hours that night and fixed the root of the problem, but couldn't fix everything since there were so many pipes that burst. He gave us a large discount off the total. We called the next day to get him back and after leaving at about 11pm the night before he came back around noon the next day to fix all five burst pipes. He was efficient, friendly, made sense with his explanations, and was real with us about price.

The tech spent more time talking about himself, and seemed like he was avoiding doing the work. He kept going on and on about replacing our water heater after we agreed we would do in the future. He kept joking around rather rudely to my roommate trying to be funny. All we needed was 2 toilets pulled and reseated properly. I had to supply him towels and a bucket as it seemed he did not have proper tools or was too lazy to walk back out to his truck. I did my own clean up as he was leaving a puddle on the floor without attempting to protect our floors. He did do a great job getting 1of the 2 toilets securely reseated but the 2nd one is already loose again after only 24hrs, we told him repeatedly that we knew the floor was uneven and will take additional work. We have used roto-rooter in the past and loved the quick, professional plumbing service we have received but i believe this tech is not up to the high quality service standards we are used to receiving from this company.
