Service was great. Roto Rooter workers were helpful and courteous.

I purchased the deal on Angie's List and received a scheduling call the next morning. Ken was dispatched to my house that afternoon - less than 24 hours after I had purchased the deal. He was extremely professional and helpful. I had a list of four items from a building inspectors report, and Ken fixed everything quickly and expertly including showing me one item that did not actually require any work and another item that I could do myself. I really appreciated his being willing to tell me when work wasn't needed. I had the same work quoted by a plumber working for a general contractor, and they not only didn't tell me that the work wasn't necessary, but they quoted almost $800! Ken did a fantastic job, and I would definitely hire Roto-Rooter again as a result.

Gary M. arrived on time and had the drain flowing in no time. He also discussed options for the future which could eliminate the tree root problem. He also gave estimates on a water softener and reverse osmosis unit installation. Gary exceeded my expectations

Provider showed up punctually both days they were scheduled for services. They were knowledgeable and explained things in a way I could understand and even waited while I called a second company for a quote. Work was done quicker than estimated, and that even included running to Lowe's for an unexpected material. The gentleman were nice and friendly and trustworthy.

Called and made an appointment for the same day between 1 and 4 pm. At 3:30, they called and said plumber was behind schedule but they would call when he was on his way. At 10 pm they called to say Roto Rooter does not provide service to Zionsville. One would think their schedulers would be able to figure out where they work.

they arrived promptly and did the outside job quickly, but then they said they were going to send someone to unclog the toilets, etc. by 10pm that night no one had shown up, multiple calls were made and we were told that someone was coming. prior to 10pm, again they were called after 10pm and a different gentleman called back surprised no one had come yet, he sent someone out who arrived around 11pm and finished up at about 130am, the only problem was the washer was still backing up but the guy did not have the appropriate size of tool for the smaller drain. we were told the outside part was done, pending inspection by Jack and the Water company. monday someone was supposed to come and fix the washer pipe. again no one came monday and tuesday, I believe I called again to remind them and someone did show up that week to finish up the "unclogging". shortly after this the large snow fall came and the continuous bad weather. I assumed that the inspections could not be taken care of until the snow was gone, so in March I called ( original work was in Jan) to find out when the job was to be finished. I got a message back that someone would go to the residence and see where the job was in process. I never received a call back. I then called about a week later and verified with a gentleman that yes the job was done--- I also verified that they had come by and checked on it. so everything currently is done. as far as I know everything is working fine and the job itself I have no problem with the only complaint are the communication issues, call backs that were promised that did not happen and or people promising to come and having to be reminded. I don't know if the employees do not pass things on to different shifts but that is certainly a source of improvement. again as far as I know everything is working ok, I also would have appreciated an explanation that the mounds of dirt will stay on the yard because of future settling and that reseeding cannot be done for 6 months or more. When I called the last time , the guy explained that to me after my questions. again job done, but communication can be improved. thank you. location of job-- Indianapolis, east side.

Very disappointed but typical Overpriced. First red flag, the service man informed me that it is $139 for them to find the problem and that they do not repair the damage that they cause or create during their assessment. Second red flag the service man was eye balling the location of where he would need to cut rather than measuring. Third red flag the service man had no clue of the prices he showed me the labor price sheet and to repair/ replace a hose spicket is $389 dollars labor not including cost of parts. Needless to say I will be requesting a refund for Angies list deal as it seems like a big Gimmick!

I wound up being hospitalized and my wife had to take off work to handle it. Roto-Rooter was called in, their master plumber was extremely helpful in helping to calm my wife and getting the proper repairs done in a timely matter for a good price. A definite atta boy for them. Have used them before and will continue to use them for our plumbing needs.

Great! The plumber showed up right on time, completed the work very quickly, and explained what I could do to avoid the issue in the future. Really great service.

My boys and I had torn out our old tile and drywall, busted and removed the cast iron tub, and were ready to install the new fixtures. But the old plumbing was not matching up with the new tub shower surround. I needed help! I knew it would be expensive to have a professional plumber's help, so I cruised Angie's List for the best coupon I could find; $79 for $250 worth of parts and labor. I was in a hurry to set an appointment, so when Angie's List message service and purchase print was not working I emailed the company that night and called them the next morning. They were quick to get someone out for me. I thought I was ready for a high estimate, but it was higher and would take longer to install the entire thing than I was expecting. So I asked him to do just the drain and overflow and I would do the rest. But the drain and overflow were the only things he did not have on his truck! He was told by his dispatch that I had everything needed to do the job, but I had explained the only thing I did not have a clue about was the drain. I was told the truck would be ready with supplemental parts. So there was our first misunderstanding on the job, and I began not trusting his knowledge and assumed he was wanting to charge me more than necessary. He sent me back to Lowe's twice for more parts each time, and I was frustrated, but I just wanted the drain done. While I was running back and forth to Lowe's, he was installing the rest of the shower and spout plumbing free of charge! And when I finally got the shower and spout cut and walls installed, I realized he MUST have measured where all that needed to come through the shower wall, because it was all dead on! When my boys and I finally got the shower in and turned on the water, the drain leaked. I was furious and raised a huge stink! I demanded a supervisor or at least someone with more experience. But who came t the door that day? The same plumber I was having communication problems with! He took the entire drain out again, along with the pipe under the house I argued to keep, because why would I replace a pipe that was not leaking? I called and demanded a supervisor come and listen to my complaint about the leaking drain and see what I was not understanding why I was replacing a pipe that was not leaking. The supervisor was VERY patient and understanding. When he explained the brass pipe was made to fit the drain on the old cast iron tub, but the new fiberglass or acrylic tubs, as in with all remodeled parts, will not match. I could finally see the difference and cause for the leaking pipe and need for 'update' drain parts. I felt like an idiot accusing my plumber of trying to get me for more parts and money than the job required. But the supervisor NEVER allowed me to feel so stupid for not seeing or understanding the entire needs of my updated bath. I felt so bad I wanted to cry and all I could do was keep apologizing. I was so expecting to be taken advantage of, that I was blind and too stubborn to see the big picture. Thank you Roto-Rooter for treating me with such respect!

I called about 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and Steve was here by 3:30. He diagnosed the problem, set about correcting it and did it for the Special Price of $79 although the regular price was $295. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Angie's List for the special and Roto-Rooter for honoring it.

Roto-Rooter was listed as a Big Deal and it was! I called about 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and Steve was here by 3:30. He found the problem and corrected it. I told him I had the Big Deal and he said just to print out the coupon and he would honor it. The drain opening was regularly $295 and he did it for the special price of $79! I couldn't be more pleased.

The plumber arrived shortly after we were told he would, but Roto-Rooter did send someone out within 2 hours of us placing a call for an overflowing toilet. The customer service representative I spoke to on the phone was helpful and immediately connected the Angie's List deal I had just purchased to the service she was scheduling for us. The service itself was fast and professional. Jay determined where the blockage was and had the toilet functioning again within approximately 20 minutes. This isn't our first time using Roto-Rooter, and it won't be our last!

When we called them to come back and fix the leak they said they would have to charge us to come back out even though we called them right away. We ended up calling someone else who came right out and fixed the leak. I would never use this company again. They over charge for services and don't resolve the problem.

They came out to give us a quote to install a new kitchen faucet. Once they started replacing the faucet they shut off the valve under the sink. They told us we needed a new shut off valve which added to the cost. I went to the store to purchase the materials. We felt that by the end of the service the price was too high for the service we got. I called around afterwards and received less expensive quotes.

He did not contact me within 2 business days as stated on the Big Deal. I am very disappointed in this provider.

On Monday I purchased a Big Deal for this service, $79 for $250 in labor. I received a message from them the same day I purchased the deal but di dnot actually speak to anyone until Tuesday. I got aa message that a technician would be at my residence between 2 PM and 4PM on Tuesday. I got a call at 4 PM from Roto-Rooter saying the technician was running late and we agreed to move the appointment to 10 AM and 12 noon on Wednesday. At 12 Noon I received another call saying their technicians were running behind and that I would receive a call when they were on their way. At 1 PM I got the call that a technicion would arrive within an hour. The technicion arrived just over an hour later. All of these calls and contacts were from the office and not the technician. I think they scheduling could have been done better since I had to miss work to wait for the plumber. Once the plumber, Mark Blevins., arrived the quality of service improved tremendously. He was pleasant and professional. I explained the problem and he got to work immediately. He gave me the quote for basic service and explained that it could be more depending on what he found under the house. Mark got "suited up" and went under the house. He had the problem fixed in less than 30 minutes. I asked Mark to look at a sump pump while he was under the house that had quit working, which he did and told me what he found. Mark gave me a quote for service on the sump pump. While Mark was preparing my bill I asked him a plumbing question unrelated to the current problem, which he gladly answered. Mark made some suggestions for changes to the plumbing that could prevent a similar problem in the future. There was no sales pressure just honest opinion about what he saw. The service ended up costing the original quote amount plus parts. The total was reduced by the deal I bought through Angie's list. I feel that I received more than my money's worth for the service provided. Mark is a professional and a gentleman and I would not hesitate to have him back to work on my home. Any issues I had with this service were related to the scheduling and not the service I recieved from Mark.

Gave us an hour window and arrived promptly. Courteous tech David listened to our explanation of the problem, properly diagnosed the issue and quickly fixed the clog.

Service on a Saturday AM. Answering associate would not provide an estimate but there is no automatic charge or after hour charge. He arrived a half hour after quoted time but they were the only ones who could make it out in AM. Plumber quoted $295 (I had AL coupon for $40=$255 for work.) I went ahead with the work but I won't call them again unless I can't find anyone else. The work was done well and the Plumber checked for leaks and sound of water draining.

We had no issues setting up the appointment. He fixed a valve on the water heater that was leaking. The technician was courteous and very informative; he let me know what was going on.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service. The purchase was actually terrible but the service with them was good.

Gary with R-R showed up on time and spent nearly 3 hours tackling a very difficult job. We had a ceramic tile contractor come to do some bathroom tile work for us and he had washed his grout buckets out in our kitchen sink, resulting in a very nasty clog in our drain line. Gary tried 7-8 times to clear the blockage from the sink side and ended up having to go to our basement and use a cleanout access to reach the actual problem area. Unfortunately, it resulted in a large accidental spill/flood once the clog was cleared (came from the cleanout we were accessing), but Gary stayed and helped clean things up, even sacrificing his shop vac to the cause as it got ruined due to the grout cement eventually locking up the motor. He was very aware of any messes he would make and promptly cleaned them up. Appreciated his professionalism and willingness to stay until the job was completed.

From the beginning the guys from Roto-Rooter were very professional and did exactly what they said they would in an efficient and timely matter.

It worked out well. They did a great job and were very knowledgeable. There was a little of disconnect with them though. They sent out someone to analyze the situation and then they sent out someone else and since it wasn’t the same person I had to explain what the problem was to and he just decided it would be best to get the first guy. It took about two or 3 times to get the original person back out which was very frustrating but when they did get him back out he fixed it perfectly. The only issue was the inconsistency with the dispatch.

It was good. I paid $79 for the big deal purchase plus another $100 in addition to that. It went fine. There was eventually one small problem that we had to call and have them come back out. He did that the very next morning and took care of it really fast. There was no problem at all. They're really fast. We called them on an afternoon and they were at our house that night. It was taken cared of right away.
