Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

The fellow, Jess, answered my questions and gave me options. I look the cost savings option because I plan to replace the hall bathroom commode in the near future. I had a question about the new commode in the master bath. Jess took a look at the commode and tested it. He told me it is working correctly. I thought it was OK but wasn't sure. Jess, was friendly, polite, and professional.

I called at 8:30 AM to schedule an appointment for a plumber to come out. He (Patrick) arrived about 2 hrs. later. He checked all of the drains in the bathroom to see if there were any other problems. He quickly determined what needed to be done and completed the job in a timely manner. I would recommend them to others.

Artie came and indeed found we had a bad clogged drainage pipe. He had to run the "snake" 4 or 5 times but was able to clear the pipe and we are now using the washer again.....it had flooded the floor a day earlier. It was Saturday night when he came and we had expected to have to wait until Monday to get someone out here, but Roto Rooter was willing to come out immediately. They wer great, he was great!!!!! Over a few months the drain in our bathtub has gotten worse as the weeks went on and eventually the clog got so bad that after taking a shower we had the tub halfway filled with water and would take 45 minutes to an hour to drain. After two prior visits by Roto-Rooter to just figure out a best way to fix it (Probably because the house was built in the 1920's and the bathtub was old and did not have a normal overflow) they finally got two people out to fix the issue. After about 15 minutes of snaking the drain it was cleared and better than ever! Everyone from this company was super friendly and nice and knew what they were talking about. I would highly recommend these guys and use them in the future for any other issues!

This was an awesome company as they were in my house fixing the problem within 2 hours of my call for help. The gentleman arrived in the company van in professional attire. He was very friendly and professional. After testing the toilet several times he determined that something was blocking the outflow of the water. He adapted his plumbing tools to hook the object and fished out a large metal object which was one side of a toilet paper roll holder after four diligent attemps. He determined from the degree of corrosion, that the object had been there for literally years. He had this problem diagnosed and solved within 15 minutes which saved me a lot of time and money as I had come home from work to meet with him. I now have a credit with this company on future repairs which I actually need again now. I have to say that I applaud a company who values maturity, experience, patience and skill in it's employees. A younger, less experienced plumber would likely not have the diagnostic acumen, skill or patience to diagnose and solve this problem so quickly and efficiently. They may have had to pull the toilet and gone to extensive and expensive lengths in order to find the problem. I appreciate that you sent me this wonderful older plumbing professional. Thank you. THE FIXING THE SINK PART WAS GREAT. THE LABOR COST TO PUT IN A NEW BATHTUB FAUCET WAS EXCESSIVELY EXPENSIVE WHICH I DID NOT GET DONE BECAUSE OF EXPENSIVE PRICE.

Everything went smoothly from the time I purchased the deal on Angie's List to completion of the service at my house. The technicians arrived on time, and were courteous and conscientious. They pulled roots out and recommended copper sulfate root destroyer. They applied the root destroyer and explained when and how to do the next application.

Professional, explained in detail break down of cost/labor. Worked efficiently, kept work area clean and orderly. Would recommend their services.

Bought an Angie's List deal, $79 for $250 worth of plumbing work. They contacted me the same day and said they could come out same day. Which was great so I wouldn't have to take off work to wait for the plumber. They called 30 minutes before plumber came out and plumber said we needed 2 fill valves and 2 flappers replaced. We had to jiggle the handle on both of our toliets after flushing. He did the work and the cost I posted was after the $250 was deducted.

I purchased the "deal" because I knew there may be difficulties installing the faucet on such an old sink. The sink is original to the home built in 1923. It's an old porcelin sink with the built in backsplash. I had tried previously to replace it but was afraid I would cause more damage than good. The serviceman came accessed the job and began. As expected he had great difficulty replacing the faucet, but never complained or even hinted he would be unable to complete the job. What typically would take 45 - 60 minutes took a little over two hours. I was very pleased with his demeanor and also his ability for change out the faucet. I would definitely have Roto Rooter come back again.

2 days later their was a leak in my upstairs bath wall down into the kitchen, cost over $200 per hour to fix. Now I have a drywall repair.

the technician first explained the process, the value of the $79 coupon and a couple of scenarios where possible additional cost could arise. as it turns out, the $79 coupon covered the repairs (clog drain). the work was handled very professionally.

Roto-Rooter got someone out to us in a couple of days and the guys did a great job rebuilding the inside of the toilet. Works fine now.

They were very responsive. Were willing to go get the appropriate parts. Were very clean and professional. In addition, they stayed until they finished there work. Areas for improvement, they gave me an estimate of 933 dollars. They then added parts to the estimate. It made me feel they were increasing the cost to cover the coupon. I would have expected them to discuss to price increase. I would have agreed to the revised price as I had already set aside the time for them to complete the work. As for labor cost, they were here 6.5 hours. If you include travel time home it is around 7.5 hours. The cost of the labor was 933. I bought a coupon so the labor was 933 - 250+79 which is 850 which is slight more that 100 per hour. This seems a little expensive. I agree with other reviews that at local plumber would be less expensive. I am struggling with the rating as I am satisfied with the work and the plumber. However, I believe the company cost is higher that a local plumber. However they were very responsive.

The installer was very professional. I had a coupon for $79 for $250 worth of labor. The total bill was $1,335 with parts and labor. The total amount of labor was $548 for installing sewage pump. This was after the discount was applied. I did not feel like I benefitted from the coupon. It felt like the labor was added back in. It took the installer less than an hour to install and a couple hours to go get parts. I will not use this Company in the future. Too expensive! .

Same day service, unclogged line, found septic tank was full after using the camera.

Ken Jenkins arrived on time, in the early morning on Saturday. He assessed the water heater and told me that the water heater tank might still be under warranty. He gave me the model and serial number and waited while I called. I spoke to several different people before I was told that the water heater was indeed under warranty and a replacement would be provided for pick up at Sears. I needed to call later to get the time of availability. Ken stated he would be able to pick up the new water heater and install it. Since time of availability was not then known, he left me his phone number so I could call him when I found the time of availability. (There was a very reasonable charge for pick up and delivery of the new water heater of $65.00. I called him once I knew the timing and he picked up the water heater. He removed the old one and installed the new one very professionally. I am most grateful for him taking the extra steps of pick up and delivery and returning the same day for installation. Everything went very smoothly. He is professional and careful about all the steps he took.

Everything went well, and I had no complaints with the service. They arrived on time, were courteous and friendly, and did a good job without leaving a mess.

Made call at approximately 3pm...was told someone would contact me within 2 hrs....received call b/w 4-4:30pm stating they were backed up and it could be later....technician showed not long after that.....he was professional and courteous, got to work right away by examining the problem, assessing what needed to be done, and what the solution was........and keeping me properly informed throughout the entire process. Price for parts and labor was fair. I'm using them again to attempt repair on existing water heater and install new one if repair job proves unsuccessful. I will be calling them in the future.......if necessary of course.

The tech came in with a new-hire to train - was fun because he explained everything they were going to do - pulled the pipe out where the initial clog was and then snaked 100 ft to clean it all out - Flushed it out and cleaned up after themselves. The tech answered all of my questions and provided suggestions to keep the drain clean - I was very satisfied with the service.

I received a quote from another company for $350-$400 to have a shower faucet replaced. I found the Big Deal on Angie's List and called Roto-Rooter to see if I could use that deal for the faucet replacement. They told me I could and immediately scheduled a technician to come out and give me a quote. Once the technician arrived I was informed that the existing faucet might be able to be repaired for only the cost of the $79 deal and the parts. They spent several hours working on it and were able to get it repaired, saving me the additional expense of the added labor for replacement. I'm very happy with the outcome and with the technician who went out of his way to get this done as inexpensively as possible. I would gladly use their services in the future.

It went very well! Defianetly would have them back out again. Matt came out and looked at my toilet as it was leaking from the base and gave me estimate on pulling the toilet and replacing the wax ring under the toilet and set it back. The pricing was good and set a time to have a tech come out the next day. Jay showed up the next day and came in and had it fixed in no time. Back toilet had not been filling up well after flushing and talked about things I could do without cleaning out the line.

They're an interesting group. He was kind of an interesting dude. I was going to have them do one job but the price seemed astronomical when I ran it up with my buddies so I had them do a different job which was basically just to change out the flush system in the toilet. I don't know how best to judge it but for a couple of jobs, like a buddy of mine whose not a plumber helped me and in two hours, he did the job and the guy wanted like a thousand dollars for the job that my buddy who was not even a plumber helped me do in 2 hours. He did the job that he said he was going to do.
