Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Never was contacted and fixed the plumbing repair myself after 1 week. I tried contacting them with no response. Very disappointed as I did not have time to fix the sink but needed it repaired. No longer in need of their services.

After I purchased a deal coupon, a scheduler called to make an appointment (check your angie's list inbox). The technician, Patrick, arrived very quickly. He spent quality time assessing the condition of the pipes (150yr old house), and used appropriate delicacy and equipment to fix the problem. He was funny, experienced, responsive, and careful. Did a great job.

It was great. They fixed it perfectly and were very clean.

Went very well. Very professional. Explained the options and what could possibly be the problem. Did a great job, cleaned up and haven't had a problem with the drain since.

I purchased a Big Deal for $250 in services, thinking I would be able to get a bath fixture changed out for that price. Ha. Not even close. It was going to be $1,000 so I declined and now I am stuck with having paid the $79 for nothing. Pretty disappointed. I learned my lesson, though, and will not purchase any additional Big Deals in the future! A note about the technician - he was awesome! He couldn't do anything about the prices but was a great guy to work with.

Promptly contacted me within an hour or so to schedule a time. I was given the option of install that day (it was roughly 4pm) but I said it wasn't that urgent. They said they'd send someone today if they could and called me an hour or so later to tell me they couldn't get to me that day and reschedule. I picked a convenient time and they came out and read the box and instructions, pulled out the old unit (and disposed of it), and installed the new unit. Took just under 2 hours I believe. I believe it would have gone faster had it not been a higher end unit that they don't install regularly.

After trying to unplug the drain myself with 2 different drain clearing products I called Roto Rooter. We have only lived in the house 3 weeks. Being new to the state we had purchased a one year subscription from Angie's list in case something like this happened and we needed help before knowing anyone to ask for a reference. Once logging onto Angie's list, and reading the Roto Rooter comments, that's who we called. Roto Rooter was able to schedule an appointment for 2 hours later that morning! The Tech showed up on time, explained what the problem was, (there was no service call fee) and how much it would cost. Since I had been on Angie's List earlier that morning, I remembered seeing a coupon! I was able to purchase the coupon (pd $79 for $250 worth of work) while the tech waited patiently! This was my first time to make a coupon purchase and it was super easy to buy and use!!t Our tech, Rudy was awesome! He took the time to explain a couple of extra things to us. He was well informed as to who to contact at Roto Rooter in regards to our Hot Water on Demand system, our well, and our softner. He offered many helpful tips all the while working quickly, efficiently & professionally!

WOW! Amazing service. I purchased a plumbing labor deal on Angie's List. $250.00 labor for $79.00. Within minutes of my purchase I received an email then a telephone call from Michelle who got me scheduled for service in two short hours. My technician, Mauani, arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with water flow thru the kitchen faucet. He tested lines and pipes and fould the flow there to be good. He determined the faucet needed to be replaced. He left the house while I went out to purchase a new faucet and returned later in the afternoon and installed it. This was a valuable Angie's List deal for us to receive such good value in service. We will definitely us Roto Rooter full service plumbing when a need should arise in the future.

The plumber arrived promptly and finished the work to my satisfaction.

He was very honest in explaining the situation. And what I thought needed to be done, simply didn't. I appreciated his honesty in not performing un-needed repairs. Will use again if needed.

I bought the Daily Deal - $79 for $250 worth of labor that went toward the total balance due. The technician was very professional and let me run to pick out the faucet I wanted in the kitchen. He worked very hard to get everything done quickly. Being an Angie's List member gave me a 20% discount which was very helpful because of how much work needed to be done. I was impressed by them really wanting to please me as a customer.

Ken from Roto-Rooter showed up within the time frame that the appointment was scheduled for. We walked down the project of removing an old kitchen sink and plumbing and installing a new kitchen sink, faucet and plumbing. Ken then made up an estimate for the work to be done. I had purchased a discount item from Angie's list of 79.00 for 250.00 worth of plumbing work. Even with the discount the estimate seemed to be high but I was assured that it was still cheaper than without it. Ken set about the task of removing the old sink and hardware. He was very professional and kept the mess contained from disconnecting the water supply and removing the sink. Upon installation of the new sink it was discovered that the opening cut into the counter top would not accommodate the stainless steel sink purchased. The old sink was cast iron. The issue with the stainless steel sink was some welded brackets on the under side of the sink that helped secure sink to the counter top. My options were to cut the counter top of find another sink that would fit the hole. Ken was very accommodating with the stoppage in work and said he was willing to come back the next day and finish the install after I purchased a new sink. The following day Ken returned and finished the installation and cleaned up all the mess that was created so the sink and cabinet space looked good as new.

The drain that was clogged was well beyond the Y joint of the Kitchen sink, so a standard auger would not reach it. The technician brought in the special equipment, pinpointed the pipe section and cleared the clogg. Included in the price is Roto Rooter pipe shield preventative maintenance treatment(64 applications)

I spoke with Roto-Rooter at 8 am this morning. A shower, two toilets and a tub were not draining properly. Roto-Rooter was able to schedule me for later this morning. The technician arrived within the window of time they scheduled. Jeff was thorough in his evaluation as to where he thought the problem could be. He tried 3 different augers in one of the toilets before all the drains were finally cleared. A field supervisor named Hal arrived to evaluate the pipes with a camera; he was able to show me an area in a pipe that could possibly present a problem in the future. Both Jeff and Hal were very thorough, informative, professional and polite. They wore shoe covers and used plastic drop cloths. Jeff even cleaned the shower when he was finished. (He said, "We clean up any mess we make.") That was a welcome surprise! I highly recommend Roto-Rooter.

It went perfect and it was awesome. They came out and fixed the drain. The guy that came out was extremely nice and friendly ad he cleaned up after himself. It was a good experience. He spent about 45 minutes to check everything twice and made sure there was no issue. I was really impressed.

Went very well. Arrived within the time frame given; looked over the situation and within a relatively short time had the line unclogged. Made sure that everything in the house was working well. Very satisfied and pleased that it was fixed so quickly.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was just fine. There was one part that I needed that was over and above the labor charge so I had to buy it at a nominal charge, and I wasn't surprised. It was less than $10. It was my first time to use them.

We had great service from them. We bought an Angie's List Big Deal that was about $250 worth of service for $80, but we ended up spending more. I liked their punctuality, timeliness and professionalism.

It was our first time using them. We were having some drain problems and went on the Angie's List website to find someone who was running a deal and we ended up having them put in a clean out valve. We needed our sewer line cleaned up. What was frustrating and I don't know if that was necessarily their fault was when the guy was here, he kept telling us that they had a 6-months same as cash loan if we got a loan. When we got here, we weren't approved for our loan which puzzles me because I checked our credit scores and we were in the highest category of credit scores, both my husband and myself do. We were very frustrated by that. It was like we were encouraged to do something thinking that there would be a loan available. He came out to give an estimate and then came out the next day to start on a project. We could have stopped it at that point but didn't. We felt it needed done. We didn't get any other estimates.

Purchased Angie's List deal on a Thursday. Was contacted the same day by Roto Rooter representative, who scheduled an appointment for Monday. The technician arrived timely and completed the repairs. The fixture was difficult to reach from below and required some time to do the installation. Roto-Rooter agreed to cover the entire job under the Angie's list deal I purchased.

I guess it was okay. It was no big deal. I can't think of anything that speaks out. So, I'm pretty sure they just came out and did their job and did what they were supposed to do. Nothing bad speaks out of my mind, so obviously I didn't have a problem. I guess they were punctual.

We were very happy with the service. We felt like we got a great deal with the coupon. We were having a backup so they came in and removed the blockage. We haven’t had any issues since then. The company sent out one plumber.
