Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Install went good. He was very professional and courteous. Very pricey compared to other providers with "A" grades.

Our service technician's name was Khuma. ?He was very courteous, proficient and professional. ?Water was not draining due to a blockage (most likely tree roots) in the main sewer drain line. ?I was very impressed that I called after 5:00 and still had the problem resolved that evening for no additional charge. ?Our technician was very thorough and we would definitely call Roto Rooter again. Even though Roto Rooter are specialists at slow drainage issues, their prices were very comparable to general plumbing companies.

I could not have been more pleased with the service I received from Jim Cummins. He was prompt, courteous, efficient and left my kitchen looking better than before he arrived. He was very thorough and very successful in fixing the clog. My husband was traveling and Jim was asking me questions I could not answer. He had a chat my my husband on the phone and then went to work. I rarely complete service reviews, but this was such an exceptional experience I wanted to make sure and give Jim and Roto-Rooter well deserved credit for a job well done. He is a stellar ambassador for your company as was the woman with whom I made the initial contact. Unfortunately, I did not get her name.

David our technician was prompt (received call ahead) and pleasant to work with. Easy to schedule and good experience.

Drain clearing successful. Pipe replacement not yet completed. But is scheduled

The only negative is that I was assured that a supervisor would come out and check the work and that has not happened. It is not a big deal as everything is working well. Again, I would use Roto-Rooter in the future.

Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had to go into the crawl space to replace a water line.

DWAYNE, TTHE PLUMBER, USED A FORM OF A SNAKE - BUT THIS ONE WAS POWERED BY ELECTRICITY. HE FOUND THE CLOG 2 FEET OUT, AND REMOVED IT. THEN HE WENT FORWARD 2 FEET TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS CLEAR, ALSO. THEN HE RAN WATER DOWN THE DRAIN TO TEST IT. THE DRAIN ACTUALLY GURGLED WHEN HE WAS FINISHED - SOMETHING WE HAD NOT HEARD IN A YEARS! DWAYNE SHARED WHAT HE WAS DOING AT EACH STAGE, AND WAS VERY POLITE, AND ALWAYS HAD A GREAT SMILE! THE IS THE BEST REPAIR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I HAVE HAD THIS COMPANY ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS FOR THIS OLD HOUSE, AND EVERY TIME THEY HIT THE BALL OUT OF THE PARK. IT IS GREAT TO KNOW I HAVE A COMPANY LIKE THIS IN CARMEL TO DEPEND ON! THEY ALSO SOLD ME THEIR PRODUCT - ROTO-ROOTER PIPE SHIELD - THAT I CAN PUT IN DRAINS ONCE A MONTH TO PREVENT PLUGGED DRAINS IN THE FUTURE.

Great. The technician was prompt, quick, and neat. He was able to quickly assess the problem, provide me with a solution, and even inform of the steps that it would take to replace the valves. As a homeowner with extremely minimal home maintenance capabilities, I was overwhelmed at the thought of a technician throwing plumber jargon at me to scare me into moving forward with the service. However, the technician (Dwight #1485) was able to clearly explain to me the problem and offered affordable solutions. I'm absolutely relieved and elated for the work that was completed.

The plumber was punctual, professional and explained the procedure before he unclogged the drain. He left things clean. They guarantee the work for 6 months meaning if I get a clog in that drain they will clear it free of charge. He gave me instructions on best care of my drain and ways to avoid the issue in the future.

The process went well. Ron Webster did a great job and was very professional and courteous.

This was overall a great experience!! I was immediately contacted by the company to schedule an appointment around my convenience. I had purchased the deal for $25 for $75 worth of plumbing services. i obviously knew i would have to pay for all the parts and any additional labor. They were on point from scheduling, punctuality, professionalism, and quality of work. All 3 of my toilets are now working efficient with no constant running. Ron, the service tech, was polite, prompt, and informative. This company will always be point of contact for any additional plumbing services needed in the future!

Tech came on time all I needed was the bathroom sink fixture replaced and I had already bought the new fixture. I was told that my 25.00 for 75.00 worth of work would be deducted from the 299.00 it would cost me to have fixture replaced. That is rediculous.I also had a estimate from Roto-rooter to have a sewer line replaced not the same tech but the estimate was 4000.00 I went to Home advisor and was given price of 1800.00. I will never use or recomend Roto-Rooter to anyone.I will get a refund ASAP

I called two other AL recommended plumbers and got voicemail and no callback or no answer, so I called RotoRooter since we had water backed up into the house and I needed someone immediately. They were very responsive and someone out within a couple of hours to diagnose the problem, remove a clog, and show me on camera where the issues were. I appreciate the quick response and for that they should be commended, but their prices are high. I have to make a decision on what other repairs I do and I'll definitely be shopping that around.

Very pleased with the effort from beginning to end. Brent came on site on Labor Day and quickly identified the problem. Recommendation was to pull a new line between the house and pit. Company policy states the cost will not go over the proposal quote unless an extreme unknown obstacle significantly increases the effort and resources needed to complete the job. Pappy and Shawn were my on site crew to handle the repair. They were at my house at the time scheduled and ready to roll. My job ended up being more difficult than originally assessed but did not require a change to the price. The whole team did what was necessary to complete the repair the same day. Work ethic and honesty were top notch. The only thing I would suggest them to change about their process is to do an actual line location before digging to better focus the effort and to consult the home owner about handling of bushes if digging one up becomes necessary. We were very appreciative of the whole effort. Price was in line with what I heard from others for the same action.

Had to try several times but continued until the washing machine was draining well and not backing up into the sink that also used the same drain line. Jeff did a great job as well as the clean-up afterwards.

Dan, #3407, arrived at our house within 2 hours and replaced the pump. While onsite, he also discovered that the water pressure was low and explained how the regulator worked and that we should replace it as well. Dan was very professional/knowledgeable.

Horrible. I called Roto Rooter wednesday at 11 because I have a broken garbage disposal in my kitchen. An appointment was made for between 4p and 6p. They didn't show up until 8p, 2 hours late. I told the person who answered the phone when I called to set up the appointmnet that I needed a new garbage disposal installed and she assured me that the plumber coming out would bring one. When the plumber showed up (2 hours late) he did not have one. He said he could run to the store to buy one and install it if I wanted.... Yes, Roto Rooter that is what I want as thats what I called you and asked to do in the first place. Before leaving for the store I asked the plumber how much it would cost, he said the disposal is between $100 and $200 and the labor would be $300. He said total price would be between $400 and $500!!! I told him that those labor rates were ridiculous and to not do the work. I will do in the install of the unit myself, takes about an hour, and buy the disposal for $100. What makes me most frustrated is that it cost me $69 to have the guy come out and tell me what I already told them. AND I'm an angies list member and didn't get the change to take advantage of the offers they have for members. stay away from roto rooter....

The guy who came was very nice and professional. He explained everything up front clearly. I did feel, however, that $210 for 5 minute spent on a minor clog was too much. If the price had been closer to $120ish, I would have felt it was much more fair.

This work was done during the process of responding to a buyer's list of items to be repaired. It was nice to have it done so quickly and by a respected name. The technician was prompt, friendly, work quickly and without incident. Nice job.

Provider scheduled service for the day I made the call. The offered to come within an hour of when I called but I needed a little later appointment in the day. They accommodated my schedule and called prior to arriving. Once arrived, the technician quickly determined the issue and gave me an exact amount of the repair. Once authorized, he quickly completed the job, efficiently and neatly. He then went over all the repairs with me, showing me photos of the repair and advising of a 6-month warranty on the work. Very pleased with the job, however, the price seemed a little high but I didn't want to have to wait to call around so I can't say with certainty they are higher than anyone else.

Got the job done and helped clean basement.

To rod a kitchen drain (approxi 35 minutes) it cost $395 with a $40 discount. Professional worker but a ridiculous cost.

Was scheduled between 9am - 12 noon for my service call with a 30min call ahead. Around 10:30am I received a call from Kim in dispatch stating the technician was wrapping up a job nearby and would be at my house next. When 12 noon rolled around, I still had no tech and no courtesy call from Kim updating me on my service call. I had to call the company and notify them that my 3hour block was up and I still had no technician. They put me through to Kim in dispatch and she couldn't reach the tech to get an update. She asked to call me back once she had reached him. I was finally told a new tech was heading my way and would be at my house around 1pm (4hours later). The tech was praised by Kim but when he showed up he was not polite, didn't explain what he would have to do to fix my leaky tub spout...only looked at the tub with his eyes and told me it would be $300.00. $300.00 for what I asked him? He said to go into the wall and fix my leak. That tells me nothing. I told him NO WAY and showed him the door. What a jerk and after waiting for 4hours, I should have gotten a free repair. What this company got was an angry customer that is now writing a bad review and will never recommend this company. I was somewhat surprised that I didn't receive a call from Kim to make the situation better but I guess they just don't care.

It went great. I had already purchased the replacement part so there were no issues with not using a part provided by the company. He showed up on time, fixed everything, explained what he did and cleaned up well.
