Description of Work: Unclogged a laundry drain. They did a good job, but it seems strange that the $79 for $250 worth of work coupon deal was not enough for such a simple job. I suspect few jobs are ever completed at their discount rate so next time I'll probably just go with someone cheaper rather than buying their deal.

Was done before any backup in basement due to bore scoping of the sewer line preemptively. Would recommend this for anyone wishing to prevent this problem.

Description of Work: We bought an Angie's List coupon for Roto-Rooter service. The company called us within 24 hours of buying the coupon, and were able to send a service technician out right away. The technician did good work, and was polite and efficient. We will use them again.

Description of Work: I had a backed up drain outside my garage that was causing water to leak into my garage. I bought an Angie's list deal for a drain cleaning. Called and was able to get an appointment within 2 hours. The service tech actually even showed up even sooner than that! He was able to clear my drain pretty quickly and get the water flowing out of my garage. | |The only disappointing part of the service call was the technicians first reaction to my issue. When he saw that there was standing water over the drain he told me that I would have to call someone to pump the water out as he could not clear it with standing water over it. I was certainly frustrated as I would have called and had that taken care of had I known versus waiting with water in my garage for an hour plus whatever wait time there would be to get another service company out there. When I told him that I had informed the receptionist who took my initial call that there was standing water he remarked that the service people do not get that information. | |As it turned out, he was able to clear the drain with the standing water over it and all was fine.

Description of Work: Different one from our usual. Liked that service called and kept me updated on when to expect but was diappointed when arrived with unprofessional appearance. And was talking us away from my problem i originally called him for. "A ovefflowing toilet". Didnt dig deeper into problem just assumed it was something minor then snaked a different area but I'm still having to plunger my "toilet" at least 3 times a week!! Conveniently now 6mtb warrantg gone now gonna cost more $ to fix. Fear getting groupon again since stated only person in my area and will just want to snake my kitchen or something, ugh!!

(When I turned on the shower; the water would not stop coming out of the faucet and the shower had a very weak stream) Another plumbing company had quoted me $285.00 - so I thought $79.00 for $250.00 worth of service would be a steal. I paid the $79.00 PLUS an additional $315.14. The repairman spilled something on the hand held wand that caused it to split and I had to buy a new one. I will not use this provider again.

Description of Work: We had a leak where the sump pump pumps water from inside the house to the back of the house. It looked like it would require tearing out a section of our back brick wall, but the men that showed up, simply replaced a washer that had gone bad. they were in and out within an hour. I've used Roto Rooter in other states and have been impressed with their responsiveness and quality of work.
