Everything that I've had them do, they do a good job. They're very neat, and they don't leave any mess behind. I would definitely use them again.

I had a problem with the tank, it wasn't filling when you'd flush it. They had to change the flapper to fix the problem. I was amazed that they were able to come the same day I called them. I would use them again. I've been using them for seven years. The workers are very professional, and they're in and out. I work nights, so when they came they were so quiet they didn't wake me.

The service was good, but the price was too high. It was ridiculous. I never thought it would be that high because they had been around so long. He gave me $40 off because I was complaining. They had a coupon. I will never call them again unless my house is on fire. ?I remember when unclogging a sink was $50-70. He did a good job, it was a big clog, but still it only took him an hour. They were making money hand over fist.? The guy was real nice. They came out real fast. I would be too scared to call them for any kind of plumbing service because the price was outrageous. I'm sure they would tell me the price ahead of time.? He had one of those good, electric snakes. It went deeper than the hand ones. He had on a uniform and knew what he was doing. He was empathetic about the price. If I had a plumbing job to do, I would call three different places. I might call them to see what they would charge. For a clogged sink, I would just spend the money on a snake. They could charge $100 less, and that would be high too.

I called them and they did it on a weekend. That?s a pretty good price for the sump pump that I got.

I called Roto rooter to clean out a floor drain in the basement of my home . It was on the weekend so i agreed to pay the $329. Roto-rooter came and unclogged the drain. The problem came back again 2 days later but they didnt honor their warranty. The technician said it was a different problem altogether. So they misdiagnosed and didnt offer a remedy. I asked for a manager but they have said twice they will call back but its been 3 days and still waiting .

I was extremely impressed with Roto- Rooter' s crew- they were extremely professional and did an excellent job repairing the sewer line. They even made a special effort to avoid damaging new pavers that had been recently installed on my property. The county inspector, who was also onsite during the repair, also commended their work.

I would not use them again in the future.

Workman came out in the middle of the night Friday morning 12:30 and installed a main basic sump pump $695. The sump pump worked all day to Friday pump out the six inches of water in 2100 sq ft basement. The next morning Saturday the sump pump that was installed failed and we had 4 inches of water still. I called again Saturday at 5:45 a.m. and the workman came out again and installed a new sump pump that same afternoon. A frog had gotten in the blades of the sump pump from the water inlet. The workman also installed one of their old sump pumps to get rid of the water in the basement routing it out through the window. We were frustrated that the sump pump that was installed was not strong enough to get the job done. We insisted on a second main sump pump to be installed with a bigger motor and with a battery back up. We already had negotiated a Monday appointment. We got a call from the workman Saturday afternoon and they came back and installed a stronger second main sump pump with battery backup and 2nd bigger PVC line. The workman recommended that he install a mesh on water inlet to keep debris from getting in the pump blades. We are currently waiting on that to be installed and it is Tuesday. In their defense a lot of people were having flooding issues due to sump pumps failing with the 7 inches of rain that we were having. We appreciate the fact that the second sump pump with battery backup and PVC line $4,800 were installed before the Monday appointment. We were in an emergency situation and it has been resolved so far. We have been testing the controls on the issue with more rain today and in the near future forecast. So far the three new sump pumps are keeping up and we have a dry basement.

We noticed that the main water shutoff valve was leaking, we went and purchased the replacement part at Menard's and contacted Roto-Rooter to install the part. The tech came out within the time frame that was given. The tech completed the job in a timely manner and did a very good job. He cleaned up after he was done and left no mess behind. He ran water to ensure that there was no leak.

It was fine, actually, we thought we had a plug but at the end of the day there was no plug. They did what we asked them to do so I have no complaint with them. I did think it was kind of pricey, very expensive. It was very cold that day, and it took them a little while to get out to the house, but I think they had some other obligations as well. They were professional, the young man that helped was not English speaking, his English speaking was very poor, We could sort of barely understand what he was saying.

We had it done the wrong way the first time, but another gentleman came out and redid the job. We were very happy with the end result.

It was a great experience. They did a good job. I would use them again if I needed to, but hopefully I won't. One service person came out and he completed the work in four hours. He left the area just the way it was before.

The repair man arrived early. He inspected my outside drain which I told him I had checked for backups and then went inside. In about 20 minutes, the inside drain was exhausting outside and the outside drain had no back up.

Other than the price ok. Washer drain backed up called company and service rep got there on time. Since I was selling the house I needed drain cleaned that day. Cost was $388.00 which was way to much, but being in a bind I paid it. Will not use again way to expensive.

They had a chart that they go by for costing out and stuff, each job they have a specific flat rate cost for and I would rather see it's parts and labor kind of a breakdown. They're cost is a little high but they're very professional and the quality of work is very good.

We had a bathroom tub which needed snaked. For a few days, the vanity would gurgle while the tub was draining. Soon after it stopped draining. The home's main sewer line had recently been cleaned and the other water wastelines were draining fine. We called Roto Rooter after another plumber never showed. +1 for Roto Rooter there. Roto Rooter's tech evaluated the situation and determined that we needed to have the line snaked and their proprietary draino-like product would also need to be used. The total cost was nearly $400 for both. Very steep but the other plumber was running behind and it would be a couple days. He started working and after a few minutes, we had nearly 15 spots where water was dripping out of the downstairs ceiling. I went upstairs and informed him, and he began to cut plaster and lathe and found a hole in the pipe. He went to his car, grabbed some tarps while water continued to drip everywhere. Not sure why so much water was used to clear the line. I witnessed gallons and gallons came through the ceiling. We moved out the furniture and that night had to bring the ceiling down as over half of the ceiling was wet and had been dripping. The next morning he came back, replaced some copper waste line to cast iron with PVC. They also replaced a couple supply line terminations. The new PVC waste line immediately leaked and they came back. When they left I realized that they had left the trap below the ceiling joist, and the cast iron clawfoot tub which had exposed chrome plumbing lines was now PVC with the words CHARLOTTE exposed. I took to social media and finally got a corporate response, the local manager Hal sent out a more experienced plumber and he resolved the issues and was the only professional we felt we'd dealt with in this process. All told, our bill was cut from $1600 to 830 or so. We still have to spend money to repair water damage to the hardwood floors, and approximately $1300 to re-insulate and drywall. On top of the bill for nearly the same to take the ceiling out. A huge mess and we are now on the hook for thousands. This was our first negative experience with Roto Rooter but I got the feeling that the team was less confident than past trips to our other home. It is also worth mentioning that they sent out a water response crew after the water fiasco, who offered to file an insurance claim with our homeowner's policy. They said that as part of the claim they could probably get our entire hardwood floors refinished downstairs by claiming there had been a sewage leak, it seemed it was being used as a carrot to hire their company. This added insult to injury because it felt dishonest and it was trying to use our homeowner policy to do the drywall work, etc rather than own responsibility for the leak which seemed to develop during the snaking. I am happy that they tried to work with us, but feel they should have owned the cost to re-drywall the room. We didn't even ask for the cost to haul all the wet building materials off or hardwood repair because the hardwoods were not pristine to begin with. We immediately ran a dehumidifier and removed the wet building materials with the help of a local contractor. We have used them many times with great results--this was a bad experience all around that we did not expect.

We looked up on Angie's List a plumber who would come at that time and Roto-Rooter said they could be there within 4 hours. The technician called within 5 minutes and was here in 20. He brought in his machine and the job was done in 25 minutes. We were grateful for the clearing of the drain, but we thought $335 (even with the $40 off Angie's List coupon) was a little high.

Water was leaking on my floor from my washer drain pipe when the washer would spin and empty out . It appeared that the drain pipe was clogged. I called the office today. I was told that someone was in my area and could be there today. The technician, Van, was prompt. He was professional and personable. He went over cost with me once we discussed the problem. Upon "snaking" the drain, the problem was found and the drain opened up. I would certainly use Roto-Rooter again should I need to.
