decks, handyman service
+ 0 morePoorly.. He came out to our house on April 25, 2017 and promised a written estimate (via email) in about a week. He said that after an estimate is received and accepted that he is booked out about 4-5 weeks. I said that was fine. About two weeks later, I receive a call from an unknown person who operates a business called Stony Creek Handyman in Lapel, IN... I asked how he got our name/phone # and why he was calling. He said that Nate gave him our name & phone # asked him to call me because he could not do the work (which we hadn't even received an estimate for) in the time frame I wanted. This was confusing because I had accepted the time frame Nate had offered. I called Nate back and discussed the situation, he apologized, and said he would send a written estimate (via email) that week. It is now May 20, 2017 and we still have not received the estimate. We are very disappointed in the lack of professionalism of this provider.
Description of Work: Some rotted wood replacement and painting to a 1-story house and shed....also possible deck board replacement later in the summer. .

+ -1 moreGreat! When I called Nate, he came that day to give us quotes for all the jobs we needed done. His schedule was booked but luckily someone had to reschedule with him and he was able to get all the jobs done that same week. Pricing was fair and I felt comfortable to have him in my house while I was at work. Keeping his number for future handman repairs. Highly recommend

Description of Work: Gentleman came out to price a new deck and never gave us a quote. My wife tried multiple times and she was told we would get the quote soon, but it never came. A complete waste of our time.
