The interaction felt very much like a bait and switch scheme. Three workers came out and had many plans on how the venting out the unfinished basement would work. They then noted this was more complex situation and they must call the owner. They facetimed the owner and the owner decided the best route was to tear up the finished part of the basement. Of course this route was going to be added expenses. The owner forwarded photos of a previous job completed in a finished area. The work appeared very sloppy. I stated to the owner I would need to think on this new route as this was not what was shared in the quote. The owner then stared if I didnt allow the work to be completed that day he would charge me $250. I stated then my business with his company was over. He hungup and his coworkers then stated they were uncomfortable with the $250 charge. This house is over a million dollar house. I just dont think this small company is equipped or has the business ethics to know how to deal with higher end property. I have shared this with my realitor who stated this wasn't the first setup hes heard of this. Beware of poor craftsmanship and business ethics from this company!

My elderly mom lived with me during covid. She was very ill and we couldn't take any chances that she might get sick. The Puradigm system that Pure Air Environmental sold us kept everyone in the house healthy. The house always has a fresh smell to it, as well!

they installed the vent pipe in a place other than where I might have wanted it. When we had a problem 6 months in, they came back, resolved the problem. I'd use them again

A+ John called in advance of arriving. He was punctual and very nice. He inspected the fan in the attic and inspected the pipe in the basement and the holes in the ground. He fixed the crinkled up tubing that goes into the pressure reader. He also readjusted the two lids that cover the hole in the ground and told us what we need to do to seal it properly because WES had installed this but not sealed it properly. Turns out the fan is working just fine for now. John explained how the system works. If we ever have issues we are definitely calling Pure Air. They are very knowledgeable and professional. We weren't even charged for his inspection time...thought that was so awesome! Thank you!!!

These people are great. Put in one pipe. Didn't quit do the trick. Put in another one. Left a monitor for a week. Picked up. Sent us email to let us know what the final reading was. Called several times. Offers guarantees. Price was great. Would recommend this company to everyone.

Very well. However, we are awaiting the results of the test results they left and we sent in. Number is still a little high so they may have to come back out and install another pipe but we won't know until we get the results back. Only complaint would be that they haven't followed up with us. They may be waiting on our call to them to report the test results. Cost was reasonable and they offered guarantees.

Pure Air Environmental got my business for a number of reasons. I submitted a request for a quote online, through Angie's List. Karen was the first to respond. Also, looking at the reviews, they were highly recommended. The process went smooth. A date was set, they called prior to coming out, to confirm. The crew, lead by Chris LeJeune, was on time, and at the home for roughly 2 hours. They wore shoe protectors, to protect our carpets. They were professional, and worked hard during the two hours. They left the area as clean as it was when they arrived. They also offer a test to make sure the system is working properly, which I will complete in a few days. Overall, as expected, and glad it went as smooth as it did.

It went very well. Pure Air was very reasonably priced and provided a detailed explanation of their system as well as recommendations on where it should be located in the home. They were very prompt with our quote and installation appointment. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I have used Pure Air Environmental's services three times for three different houses. When we sold our house, mold and radon popped up in the inspection phase. Other folks gave us outrageous estimates and tried to scare me into using their services. Pure Air explained our options and offered reasonable pricing. They promptly took care of the issues and we were able to sell our house. When we had an unpleasant inspection on a house we were thinking of buying, they came out and gave us a realistic estimate of what would need to be done. In the house we just bought, they came out and dealt with the air-quality issues in the basement and attic, the pet odors, and the junk that had accumulated in the air ducts. Their team is polite, professional, and competent. Their pricing is reasonable and they do excellent work. I have a child with respiratory issues, and I trust the people in this company.

I did not deal with Karen directly—our home inspector coordinated the radon test both times. (We had two homes inspected.) But the results were returned quickly and, in the case where the home had high radon levels, a detailed proposal for a radon mitigation system was also provided. I was very pleased in both cases. Knowing what I know now, next time I would schedule a radon test on my own to save a little money. The additional amount we paid to the home inspector for a radon test was higher than the cost of the radon test would've been had I booked directly with Pure Air.

This company is very professional and customer service oriented in every way. They were able to run the pipe from the basement up the inside wall of the garage and through the garage ceiling locating the suction pump in the attic over the garage not on an outside wall. I highly recommend Pure Air Environmental. They are very price competitive.

Karen was wonderful. Called back efficiently, scheduled us quickly and then showed up on time. She setup the system, explained what needed to be done and came back to collect and give us results. Price was better than most and super courteous. Definitely recommended.

They did great. The job was challenging because the layout of the basement and access to outside was difficult, but they were able to drill the pipe with a 45 degree angle from the back side of the house.
