Within the first year of owning my home, a storm took off an entire 4x8 sheet of decking and shingles. It was a strong storm, but the decking only had 3 nails in the entire sheet of plywood - not up to code. My builder inspected the rest of the roof and determined it sound. PCG came out and replaced the plywood and insulation and reshingled the area. However, the shingles never did lay down correctly. So, when I went to sell my house, the buyer's inspector naturally noted 'Hey, someone needs to check the roof'. So, I try to get PCG out to sign off on their work and make sure there aren't any additional issues. I left four message for 'Dan' whose voicemail message promised he would return my call 'promptly'. I never heard from him. Ever. Understandable for a company whose workmanship is so poor. When I called another roofer in the area, he said he had just inspected another roof in my subdivision that had so many problems, the builder had to replace the whole roof - even though it was past the warranty. We only have one builder in my subdivision and as they told me, they only use PCG.
Description of Work: PCG was the subcontractor that originally installed my roof on a new home.

New construction, PCG was the subcontractor for our roof. We noticed some water getting into our front porch. Dan initially checked it out, indicated there was no sign of moisture. Later when he got on the roof, indicated the gutter installers and framers were to blame for the water getting in. After numerous phone calls (not returned) it took a call from our builder to get it corrected. Since the recent thaw, we've noticed that the problem still exists, and we have yet to hear back from this company. They don't stand behind their work (house is less than 1 year old) - and haven't returned any of my phone calls. As we've noticed other areas of concern, we'll likely use angies list to find another roofer for a second opinion.
Description of Work: Roofed our new home / construction. Cost included in construction budget
