New Light Window Cleaning Company

I purchased this service in early August--however the supplier did not contact me to schedule services and after a couple of weeks I have to contact them myself (this is of note only becuase other business contacted me immediatly after purchasing a service). After I contacted them, they scheduled me in quickly however the services did not go well. The voucher was for three people, three hours of housecleaning, but the results were less than desired. Any of the things that were moved during dusting were not put back in place (were left out wherever they were moved to, sometimes in other tables in the rooms), the most upseting was that all of the floors (hardwood on the first floor, tile in the bathrooms on the second) were not swept, and seemed to have been mopped with dirty water. The floors were sticky and they smelled bad--I had to sweep and mop the whole house over again and took pictures to show the company, which i still have. None of the bathroom mats were returned to the bathrooms, they were left in another room in the middle of the floor. I spent the whole evening having to reclean my house from the mess I was left. This was extremely upsetting--I purchased services that I had to do myself ($109 dollars out the window).

The service hasn't been provided and after a few calls it was very apparent that the owner of this business is not professional. Unfortunately, I will not be using this service.

I used the Big Deal which was $99 for 22 windows and the remainder was for extra windows and the chandelier. Doug, the owner called within a day after I ordered the Big Deal from Angie's List and he discussed scheduling. I was not in a hurry and he was getting a large response from Angie's List members so I told him to call me the following week after he had completed the scheduling. He called and we agreed on a date. He was on time and did a very nice job. I was especially pleased with the chandelier, IT LOOKS WONDERFUL! Doug worked alone so the job took most of the day but I did not feel in any way inconvenienced. He is a very pleasant man.

They did what was stated on the offer with good quality.

Everything went very well. They ended up having extra time, so they actually ended up washing all my windows also. I felt like they went above and beyond the call of duty.

This was supposed to be 3 people for 3 hours of deep house cleaning. It definitely was not what I would call deep house cleaning. I asked them not to dust and they did. After they left I discovered a broken Swarovski Owl and where I had cracks in an old veneer piece they had snagged the veneer and chipped off pieces. I only wanted them to do 4 rooms and 1 bathroom. I do admit the shower came out good, but otherwise I was not happy with the service.

They did a great job. The work was well worth the price. The only problem they had a problem finding my house, but I would highly recommend this company.

I wasn't aware of how they counted the windowsdouble hung. But all turned out well. We had a lot in common. A very nice guy! I will definately use him in the future.

They arrived on time and even called to verify address before they came. Did a great job, we are thrilled that our windows are so clean. All of the job was done with no problems at all.

The cleaning team was punctual. They were a bit slow but thorough. Happy with the service for the price.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the deal because I couldn't get an appointment in a timely manner.

Doug arrived at the exact time he said he would. He was very meticulous and detail oriented. He cleaned up after himself and did a fantastic overall job. The windows are spotless. He even made sure everything was to our satisfaction before he left. I will definitely be using his service in the future.

I talked to Doug several times to set up the appointment. They called to confirm the appointment at 10:00 a.m. a couple days before and didn’t show up until 12:00 p.m. There was a crew of 3 that came to my home. They attempted to leave 30 minutes early which would equal out to 1.5 hours of time or half of the coupon. They did stay when we pointed out that they still had 30 minutes of work. All three of them stayed in 1 bathroom. They didn’t the finish the bathrooms. We asked them to clean the windows, windows sills, vacuum out the furniture and a few other items which they did not do. I have spoken with Doug about the experience and he referred me to Angie’s List to get a refund.

They did an excellent job and were very efficient. The prep work on the sills and screens was done by assistants while all the window cleaning was done by Doug. He's affable and very cooperative with a focus on pleasing the customer. I was a little bit taken back by the absence of any form of insurance and actually had to hold them up a bit while I checked with my agent to verify that I had contingent liability. Twenty years in the business without insurance is surprising as is the apparent absence of a significant claim or injury. Being a retired physician in a high risk specialty, the latter was my primary concern. Obviously this keeps the pricing very competitive. Doug did great. He even cleaned our sliding glass door and large mirror. He was very particular and the type of guy that I want doing my windows. We will definitely use him again.

Appointment was for 10AM. Doug called at 10:10 to say he was caught in an accident. Good start. Usually people don't bother calling. When he arrived he counted the windows and got right to work.. He was very friendly and professional and did an excellent job. We hadn't realized how dirty our windows were. We will use Doug again and recommend him to others.

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had concerning a workman coming to my home to perform a service. Doug arrived on time and got right to work. He was very friendly and explained exactly what he was going to do in regards to the cleaning. I told him that I would help in removing the screens on the upper story and from that point we had a great time working as a team as I unfastening the screens from the inside and he washing the windows and the helped reinstall the screens from the outside. As we worked we chatted and I feel sure we each made a hot, hard, job into an enjoyable task. Doug threw in a couple extra windows and even allowed me to use his "Webster" to remove spider webs that had collected in corners and around porch lights. At the end of the job he had me inspect the work and give my final approval before he packed up and was on his way. I would definitely use his service again and would recommend him to anyone wishing to have bright, sparkling windows!

Doug has worked for my family for over 10 years. Most times it is twice a year. We have been so pleased with his work. He has also done other things for us such as wash our screen porch and help set up the furniture for use. Doug also has helped with our landscaping and done a very respectable job. I have Doug set up to clean gutters every fall. He performs all needed work , then calls me to tell me he has completed his task and we pay him. Very trust worthy.

The 3 ladies did an excellent job, but the owner, Doug was disorganized. He told me was using a large paper calendar & struggled with scheduling. I then had called to schedule the ladies to clean on a regular basis. Doug told me to call the cleaning lady to schedule. I called her and she told me Doug was the one to schedule. I then scheduled a cleaning for today 8/27 at 10am with Doug. No one showed up to clean. I called Doug & informed him of that. He asked me if I had scheduled it with the cleaning lady & I told him that I had scheduled it with him. He blamed the cleaning lady. I told him that as the business owner, he is the responsible party. I feel bad for the great cleaning ladies, but I will not use him again!

On time and windows are clean.

First of all, Doug is a very nice man and was a pleasure to have in my home and obviously takes pride in his work. He spent approximately 3 hours cleaning windows, sills and screens of our two story home. After he finished he went back and checked for spots, etc. We recently had the exterior of our home painted and with our shiny windows, it looks fantastic! Doug and I had a nice conversation while he worked and I look forward to calling him again.
