Mr. Floorman

Eric altered the original schedule to meet last minute changes due to other contractors. He arrived on time and worked till the job was complete. My realtor was impressed with the finished product as was I. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Floorman.

My 50 year old floors look brand new! I can hardly believe how great they look. Eric was kind and helpful throughout the process. Communication is key in any project! He was good about answering my texts and keeping me updated about shifting timelines. I would definitely recommend Mr. Floorman.

Eric was very nice and also agreed to do some extra for no charge. However, he got behind in his timeline, ended up working late in the evening a couple of days and ended up doing a poor job. 1) Edge work that he did by hand is very rough and uneven - unsightly gouges in the floor. 2) There are a few places where the stain was put on too thick and unevenly - doesn't match the rest of the floor. 3) Some damage to door frame woodwork also. 4) Scrapes to paint on front door and some other areas. Overall a nice fellow and hard worker, but I just think he lacked the skills to do a professional job. I fear the only way to correct the above issues is to have the floor redone.

Eric was professional and honest. We had very old original floors in an apartment and he did a great job considering the age/condition of the floors. I would have given him a 5 except for a few (?handprints) of stain on the walls which required paint touch-up. I'd use him again.

Mr. Floorman was hired to sand down and refinish wood flooring that had some stains. We walked through and looked at the stains, and I thought that he understood that I wanted the floors done to get rid of the stains - I was wrong. He finished the floors without ever contacting me to say that the stains were deep and did not come out. There was no communication! This is an old place and the heating units are on the floor. He didn't bother to try and refinish under them. His solution to cover the stains was to mix a darker stain with the polyurethane, which seemed like a good idea. However, he said that he wouldn't continue until I paid him in full plus the cost of the new supplies. BIG MISTAKE on my part! When I returned to the property I found dark stain on almost every wall (that we had just paid to have painted). In the living room there was over a foot of stain that ran down the wall and this was at least 4 feet above the floor. There is dark stain all over the baseboards, so I am now forced to stain all the baseboards which I was not going to do. He didn't bother, again, to do the job right and get the stain under the heating units or even in the corners. The stain in the hall is darker than the stain in the bedrooms and it looks awful! The stain is darker in some places than others in the living room because he didn't try to feather it in. This was a disaster from start to finish. Don't make the mistake that I did because he only cares about getting your money and getting the job done fast, but clearly doesn't care about quality!

Eric Mr. Floor Man was very professional and did excellent work. he was friendly and courteous and answered any questions we had. he completed the work in a very timely manner. he was very careiful not to damage any of our property and he cleaned up very nicely when he finished. His pricing was very competive and we felt like we received great value for our money. On a scale of 1-10 i would give ERIC a 20! we would recommend him to our friends and family any time. we will use his services again. CHARLES AND PATRICIA ANDREWS

Great job. Personal service. Refinished two wood floors and cleaned the grout and tile in another. Work was well done and their concern for my satisfaction is something you don’t always see.

Eric knows his craft/installation of hard wood floors. You can't beat the price. Switched out our carpet to hard wood floor in my dinning room. Very pleased with our floor.
