Description of Work: I used Mr. Fields in 2011 and have not used since. He did a good job of laying hardwood floors but was completely unreliable on follow up issues. Didn't expect him to fix it but at a minimum to communicate with us.

+ 0 moreHe will do exactly what you ask him to do, but you should be prepared to manage the project as he struggles in that area a bit.
Description of Work: David did good work, and was happy to do anything I asked. I would gladly recommend him and use him again. He will fix any detail but is a bit challenged on remembering details so needs a bit of management. Sometimes would be delayed in getting to the work by a day or so. Pay him when he's done, check for details (he will do anything, but struggles to organize), and you'll be very happy.

+ -1 moreHe is very reasonably priced, punctual, responsive, and highly recommended. He did both jobs himself very efficiently. He accommodated my schedule and did both jobs on the weekends, so I could be home. But it really didn't matter, as I felt completely at ease leaving him alone in my house. One item to note is that we were responsible in choosing and purchasing the tile, cement board, and grout and quite frankly, I preferred that. It made the job very much in line with our budget, as there was no company mark-up on the product.
Description of Work: David installed ceramic tile in two bathrooms on two separate occasions.
